Tsubasa Goodness!
Heh, I've submitted four Tsubasa:RC wallpapers, just today! ^^ Hee, that's pretty good! I've noticed that I haven't been submitting as many Tsubasa wallpapers as I used to, so I guess this made me happy. AND! None of them suck! Ahhh yeah!

Oh, and I also made my own button.

If anyone wants the code for it, I'll gladly give it to you. ^_^

Man, I still wanna see the anime SO bad! I tried out that website that someone gave to me, but it takes so darn long for the thing to load! 12 hours?! Are you kidding me?!? I think I'll just wait and order the DVD online... *sighs*

Yesterday, I ordered "Smile", the L'Arc~en~Ciel CD. Heh, I can't wait! It should ship tomorrow... then, it'll only be a couple more days until it arrives at my doorstep! *dances* Can't wait! This is actually the first J-rock CD I've ever ordered. >.> I've HEARD J-rock songs before, but this will be my first CD. Kinda weird, huh?

Well, I hope everyone's good today. Ta!

The Butterflies Are All Up In Me, Yo!
Oh man, I am SO nervous right now! And excited... and, just... jittery!

But, I can't tell you why. >.> I must keep it a secret for now. Hopefully, in the near future, I can tell you why, but not now!

<.< Not yet!

Anyway... how is everyone? Good, I hope. And if not good, hope you feel better soon. ^_^

Hmmm... maybe I'll go work on a wallpaper now... I dunno! I don't want to have to spend over an hour making one wallpaper today. >.< Maybe tomorrow, but not today...
Still, I'll try and make something.

Oh! By the way, a few days ago, I got over 6000 downloads. And I just now remembered about that. Eheh...
Thanks to everyone who's supported me these past few months! *sniff* You're the best!
I've also gotten over 500 visits to my site. ^^ Hee, I'm popular! Haha!

Whelp! Better get to work on those wallpapers!

Ta!

Summarize, Baby!
Last night, I updated myOtaku journal. And, it was an extremely long post. So long, that I doubt that any of you will read the whole thing. Half way through writing it, I realized, "This is way too long!"
SO! I'm going to summarize what happened with my grandparents; that way, you can just skip that part in my last post and just read about the festival.

~*~

Last Saturday, I woke up earlier than usual to get ready. I took a shower, got dressed, and then waited an hour or two before we actually left for my grandparents.
I was tired most of the drive up. Almost fell asleep. All I had "eaten" for breakfast was a cup of hot cocoa, so I was starving. Twas a good thing when we got to Olive Garden. Luckily, didn't take long for all of us to get our table. There were nine of us, after all, so there was really only one table we could use.
The food was very good! I had cheese ravioli, and then tiramisu for dessert. Wasn't hungry anymore! I'm sure everyone loved it, as well.

After we ate, Nanny (my grandma) had to go back to the old folks' home, and the men went back to my grandparents' house. Mom, Robin and I went to Costco, meanwhile. I ended up getting "Empress Orchid" by Anchee Min (I recommend that, by the way), and the Back To The Future trilogy.
After Costco, we went back to my grandparent's house, and helped the boy's move the rest of the furniture.

All in all, a very full day. Felt great to go back home. Although, it was nice to see my grandparents and Aunt again. Nanny looks much better now.

~*~

There! That should be much shorter! ^_^

Oh My... Where To Start?
Well, the celebration with my grandparents went okay. It would've been better if not for the fact that I was very tired almost the entire time. Mainly because all I had for breakfast was a cup of hot cocoa. Bad move on my part.
I woke up that morning at around 6 AM. I didn't get up, but I was awake at that time. Twas horrible. I had stayed up till 1 or 1:30 the night before, so I hadn't gotten much sleep yet. Wasn't willing to get up... so, I tried to go back to sleep, but all was in vain. I didn't even start to feel sleepy again until 7:30, and by then, I only had 45 minutes left to "sleep."
Shortly, I had to get up so I could start getting ready for our trip.
1) Needed something to eat. And, as I've already said, I didn't really eat anything for breakfast, so now it's time to just move on with step 2.
2) I needed a shower. The entire reason I got up early. Doesn't take me long to dress, and I don't wear makeup. But, when it comes to showers, THAT I take a long time with!
3) Had to pick out something to wear. This didn't take long at all. I already knew what I wanted to wear, as far as clothing goes, so all I had to do was pick out jewelry. YES, for once, I wanted to look at least a little bit pretty for the occasion. I ended up finding something relatively fast, and then I wore the ring I had gotten for my birthday.
4) After getting ready, making myself look nice, twas time to wait.
And wait I did. In fact, twas a couple of hours AFTER I was done getting ready before we left! Ugh... I didn't even need to get up at 8:15 at all! Oy...

Anyway, we had to take two cars, so Robin, Mom and I rode in Mom's car, and the boys (Dad, Eric, Kyle) were in the van.
The ride up wasn't terrible... but, I was so hungry! Halfway through the trip, I struggled to stay awake. Once we got to the "old folks' home", as it were, Mom gave me a buck to get something out of the vending machine, at least to tide me over until we got to Olive Garden.
Before we left, we got to see my grandmother (we call her Nanny). Her room, how she is, etc. Apparently, she's better now, which is good. I'm very happy about that, at least.

Anyway, when we got to the restaurant, it didn't take long for us to get our seats. We got our usual table, when all nine of us go (remember, there's my whole family, the six of us; then my grandparents and aunt).
... okay, I'm gonna try and speed this up. We ordered our food, talked... "blah, blah, blah". THEN! The food came!
"Haaaaaallelujah! Hallelujah!"
It was delicious! I had the cheese ravioli. I haven't had that in a long time. Twas really good!
And dessert! Oy! Don't get me started on that! Oh my... I had tiramisu, and it was so GOOD! So fluffy... well, not SO fluffy, but still fluffy! And delicious! MMMMM! Twas the first time, all that day, that I was truly not hungry!

After eating, and all that, twas time to say goodbye to Nanny. She had to go back to the home, while the boys went back to our grandparents' house, to help move stuff. You see, Aunt Cheryl and Papa have to move, and they're moving into a pretty small apartment. Which means, they have to not only move around furniture, but somehow get rid of a lot of it. And, since Papa is much too old to be moving all that, Aunt Cheryl needed some help.
Anyway, while the boys did that, us girls went to Costco. Mom needed to get some things, and Robin and I didn't want to wait in the car.
It's a good thing we went inside, too. For one, we would've been waiting in the car for quite some time otherwise, AND we both ended up finding good books inside. Luckily, I had some birthday money on me (present from Nanny and Papa). I was able to buy the book "Empress Orchid", written by Anchee Min. So far, it's very good. I'd recommend it. I also bought the Back To The Future trilogy. Heheh... figures. Those are actually pretty good movies. My dad likes 'em enough, plus it was pretty cheap for three movies.

Once we got back to the house, twas time to help the men! Haha...
Seems like there was more stuff that needed moving than we originally thought. I could've just sat around, reading my new book, but I helped. I even ended up taking a purse home with me. Heck, it would've just been sold at the garage sale...

After such a tiring day, it felt great to be home. I know I probably skipped a lot of parts that happened that day, but I'm losing my patience. Plus, there's something else I want to talk about that occurred today.

Hee, twas the coolest thing. Robin and I went to Seattle for the Cherry Blossom/Japanese Cultural Festival. Oh my, I don't know where I should start! Everything was so cool! There were three buildings that had their own little things going on, and we visited each one.
One of them had different types of performances, like taiko drumming and Japanese dance; also, a place where you could put on Japanese kimonos and get your picture taken (something we both participated in).
The second building had bonsais on display, a gift shop (sort of), Japanese food, and just all sorts of stuff!
The third building mainly had martial arts shows going on. Kendo for one. We saw these two men slice a piece of bamboo or something several times. Twas really cool. A little bit of information: those bamboo things they were slicing are supposed to be as thick as a human's leg bone. So, yes... it was very hard. And fun to watch!
See, I'd be more descriptive about all that happened, if I weren't impatient to finish this... still, I'd like to at least mention the highlights of today, so... here goes!

First of all, souvenirs: there were a lot of cool things at the gift shop, and I wish I could've taken it all! But, I couldn't... my sister helped me find this neat necklace though. It has a charm/pendant on it that says "Monkey" in kanji. Heh, perfect for me. That's what I ended up buying. I'm going to wear it everyday, just... because I want to!
Lunch was interesting. Robin and I bought a bento box, and two bowls of sukiyaki. It was... pretty good. I must say, I'm not a big fan of fish. And, I'm pretty sure there was some type of fish in the sukiyaki bowls. We ended up eating very little of our lunch, which is such a shame, really. A waste of food...
One good thing about lunch, though. I got to practice using chopsticks some more. It's really not that hard to use them. Just takes a couple of times until you've got it. Heheh...
And, my favorite part about the whole festival, the taiko drums! Oh my! It was very cool. I couldn't help smiling during the whole ceremony. I can't wait to go next year, just so I can listen to the drums again!

I must go back next year. It was so much fun, I wish we could've stayed longer! I could've listened to the taiko drums the entire time! Except, next year, I'll have more money to spend, AND I'll just get the beef bowl, instead of sukiyaki...

Well, that's it for the festival. I would've said more about it, but... I'm being impatient, SO! Yeah...

Btw, decided on a new theme... Final Fantasy VII! I'm going to put up the new images and everything as soon as I post this. Tell me what you think!

And, I think that's it. As a litt note, I wasn't about to check many people's sites today, 'cause I was lazy... eheh, tired too! I also spent most of the day at the festival, and then I spent an hour making a wallpaper, so... oh well.
Ta for now!

Heh, has anyone else noticed that most of my cards were Tsubasa ones? Hmmm, I wonder why...
Speaking of Tsubasa, I saw some AWESOME anime pictures today! I should save them and show it to y'all. A girl on this forum I go to (her username being Kinomoto Sakura) uploaded a bunch of these pictures from Newtype magazine, and they're SO PURTY!! Oh my, I must see the anime! Quickly, too. Or else, who knows what might happen?
Someone gave me the link to a place where I could see it subbed... >.> I just haven't gotten around to using it yet. I really should, huh?

And... that's it, methinks. Not much, again.
... well, I do have one thing I'd like to ask. What theme should I do next? Video game, anime/manga, or something else? I already have a few ideas in mind, but I want to hear what you have to think first.
Also, just 'cause I'm asking this doesn't mean I'll change my theme in the next day or two. Probably sometime next week, but not right away.

Okay, so NOW that's it! Ta!

~God Bless~

P.S. Even though it says I updated April 22nd, it's still the 21st where I live. Thought I would just add that in before posting this. Eheh...

Officially Sixteen! .... Starting Tomorrow >.>
Well, today I'm celebrating my birthday, even though it's tomorrow! YEAH! ^^ *throws confetti*

Heh, although... it hasn't really seemed like a birthday today. Half of the day, I've been cleaning. Doing my laundry, vacuuming my room, dusting, and then I still have to do my main chore, washing dishes. It's not that much, and it doesn't take up a lot of time, but still. Most of my day has been rather boring, if you'd ask me. But, meh... I shouldn't complain.

Once my dad got home, I went ahead and opened my presents. I was too impatient to wait till after dinner. Heheh... anyway, I don't want to brag, so I'm not going to say exactly what I got.
Let's just say... I got what I asked for, and a couple of other cool things. Two that I'd like to mention are a Chinese teapot and some chopsticks. GOOD chopsticks too, reusable ones and everything! That... is so awesome! I wanted to learn how to eat with chopsticks, and now I can! Plus, we're having teriyaki for dinner tonight (my request), so I can test 'em out tonight. ^_^ Perfect timing, indeed.
Also, I received a very pretty ring. It has three real diamonds on it, the band is white gold, and it fits just right. I love it, my parents are so nice to buy me anything at all! I don't deserve it, really.

Anyway, that's enough about my gifts.
And now, tis time to give credit to the people who have sent me birthday cards! I'll post them in the order they were sent, and the names of the senders are on the cards.
Anyway, here they are:

Thanks to everyone who sent me cards! And thanks to everyone who's wished me a Happy Birthday, as well. ^_^ You're all so nice! Give yourselves a round of applause! *claps*
If I get anymore cards over the course of the next few days, I'll make sure to credit them in the same fashion.

Anyway, that's all. For now...

2 Days Left
Well, not much to say today, really. There are just two days left until my real birthday, and I'm celebrating it tomorrow. Cool...

Oh, also...
PLEASE check out my Kurogane wallpaper, if you haven't already! I just submitted it yesterday, and it's the coolest one I've ever made!
Do you remember when I said I wanted to make a Kurogane wallpaper, but didn't have the time? Well, I made it yesterday, and I think I did a good job, so again... PLEASE look at it!
Oh, and thanks to mirokus daughter for the comment. It was exactly what I wanted to hear. ^_^

And... that's it, I suppose. Just a boring afternoon, really. I'm trying to make a Yoshi wallpaper right now, but I'm not doin' so well. Eheh...

Anyway, ta!
