   Sunburned toes! And more chilie.
Thanks for the links i like the art. And i REALLY REALLY hope that we are in the same classesz again, i cant imagine not having fun hanging out with you every day. And who would take care of me when i am absentminded other wise? Coming back soon, and hopefully with hieu, whose visa interveiw is in 4 days. And it is REALLY hard for him to get a visa now because of the national security act. I am praying ferverently to god for guidance, because quite frankly i dont know if i could handle travle on my own. You know me i get lost, i faint, and i zone out. Not whzat makes the best traveler. So pray for us will ya? Heres how things are going here. Yesterday we didnt do much i mainly did my flower class homework, and managed to rub the skin of my left thumb in the process. Also i am no longer truster on the stairs, after a rather nasty fall left me with a purple big toenail, and a swollen toe. Every time i go upthe stairs The reminds me to be careful, and laughs. I only fall once every two days or so. And it is NOT my fault it is the stairs fauly. THey are the ones who have nasty little overhangs that are made to catch my feet. AS well as being made of slippery marble. Needles to say hieu does not share my opinion on who is at fault. And for dinner The took us all out to bulgogi, wich is absoloutely fabulous, i even tried eating some of the many small spicy dishes littering the table. I still could not however bring myself to eat kimchee. Just too spicy. And i sucesfully evade the veitnamese plot to kill the american with chile's. Hieu, anh quoc, and chi quyen tried to trick me into eating what turned out to be one of the spiciest chiles avalible. It didnt work because for one i never trusted hieu to begin with and two, i learned very quickly not to trust hieu's brother who loves jokes just as much as him. Today we went to an amusment park and a water park in the city. I went with hieu (of course), tram, peter (an exchange student who went to new york), and peters two younger brothers. We had a great time killing eachother in bumper cars, and after lunch and walking around (and being made to pose for a million pictures by hoa) we were all hot sweaty and ready for the water park. They m ade me go and scary slides, and a REALLY SCARY ride where you go on a zip line that suddenly stops and dumps you 12 feet into a pool. Ugh. I did have fun on other rides, and hieu was his usual pain in the ass on the lazy river, repeatedly upturning my inneretube and dunking, and splashing me. I finally snaped and everyone seeing the b;loody murder in my eyes told hieu to stop (this was after about an hour of him tourtureing me). I am now really tierd and nursing my sunburned toes. Yup you heard me correctly, my sunburned toes. Only i am cabable of getting baldly su nburned toes at this low altitude. And sunburned toes HURT. Also when i realized just why my feet burned on the way around the lake to the water park, all the sunburn proof veitnamese were both astonished and amused to learn that yes indeed, every time i go out for an extended period of time, i will get badly sunburned no matter what. And i dont tan like them, i just turn pink/red and then heal as pale as ever. Obviously this is a new concept to most of them.
