   5-Day Absence!

Start: 7:44 PM CST

Okay...I REALLY don't want to kill you all with my nonsense, so I shall post smally this time!

Wednesday

Couldn't remember what I was doing...

Well...during 8th period, we all scattered outside because someone tried to set fire to the trash can...FOR THE THIRD TIME. Argh, they put it out though.

Or was it a fire drill...?

Oh yeah! That day, at 7 PM, my dad drove me to the church for JAM. But Theresa and Co Jennifer were screaming, "There's no JAM today!" and by then, my dad had almost drove off. I started running for the van, and he kept driving farther. (Can't you see I'm running after you?!)

Thursday

I stayed after school today to go to the Christmas Band/Orchestra concert! I also ate lunch with Thi, Chi Chi, Chi, Zach, and Jonathan. Anyways, enough of that.

James had missed the bus, so we walked to the entrance, and then he just waited outside. Inside, I went into the Band hall and Orchestra room, and I started playing Julio's violin! (I SUCK!!!) Everyone was doing each other's hair. (Gabby was doing Vi's, and later, Kaether and Anita were straightening their hair.)

Oh yeah! Julio straightened his hair! Well, Luz was doing it for him. I told him that with straight hair, he looked Asian, and he threw a hair brush at me. (OW!!!)

They were doing Kapur's hair too. *laughs*

And then everyone went to go practice... They took the piano!!! ...Well, until I went after they practice to play the piano. A boy asked me to stop playing sad songs and play a happy one. I tried, but it ended up sad. *sweats* Another guy on another piano was playing impressively. AHHH, the music was exciting, yet sad. Mines just slow...and sad. *laughs*

Later, I went to practice, sat with Thi, Niyathi, and Danny, and watched others practiced. I met Kim and Angela, two of the three Vietnamese girls that were practicing their holiday Kroger card discount sale thing. *laughs* And I finally found out what Becky looks like!

I kept screaming "MAJIN BADEEK!!!" at her. (It's an inside joke.)

But Becky was crazy. She kept asking me, "Who do you want to bang in Band???"

My repsonse: O_O;;

She told me it was an "inside joke", but Thi didn't get it either...and she's IN BAND!!!

Oh yeah. Earlier, Thi asked me for a ride. And then later, she asked if we could go out to eat after. (Hehe, yay! I WISH!!!)

Then...10 minutes before their practice was over, Thi told me to hurry to the auditorium to watch the program.

And it started. I moved so I could sit with Vanessa, who was taking pictures with Jonathan's camera. (He has weird pictures in his camera.) The music was so beautiful. The choir. And there was this pretty song called "In Flanders Field". I loved it, so I tried looking online for it, but I found out: it's a poem. (GRR...I'll never find it!)

Orchestra and Band came later, and they played so beautifully!

And then Colorguard came out and performed a flag routine/dance for us. But the second routine...one of the girls was missing her flag.

Note: During the Colorguard, the Band/Orchestra people were acting all crazy and rowdy behind the curtains. People were trying to shut each other up!!! But guess what? No one could hear anything! (Oh yeah! Aren't theatre curtains lined with lead...???)

Anyways, it was so spectacular! After Thi gathered all her gifts (yes, her friends gave her Spongebob-themed Christmas gifts), we headed to my mom and dad. But Thi's sister had actually come up to pick her up! So I had to say "good-bye"... Ohh...I almost forgot my backpack! So I rushed in!!!

I had nothing to eat...except for pizza...which I asked everyone for. They were taking up MONEY for it, and I didn't know! And I wanted to do a second order, but Kaether changed his mind, and Gabby just asked her dad to bring her up some McDonalds...

My parents were grumpy on the car ride home. Especially about why I was carrying Thi's stuff for her. (What's so wrong about that?!)

Friday

Ah...in the morning, I was talking to Vu. We had the first conversation in real life...in FOREVER!!! (Well, a long time.) We were just talking about things we were going to do for Christmas.

OH. And the Deaf students were having a party in their class! (LUCKIES!!!!!!!!!) They brought candy, cookies, etc.

In Digital Graphics, we had Mr. Wimpy as a sub, and there was no translator. So Geraldine signed, and I translated that we needed a translator. So we got a pass, and went downstairs. They sent up a translator: Mrs. Neal. But there was nothing to do in there, so the teacher and Geraldine just went downstairs to the Deaf classroom and did homework.

Me? I was bored. Kayeshia (?) came in and made a Middle Ages-themed university. *laughs* And me and Richelle were looking up designer hats. (Yes, weird, eh?)

In Lunch, I sat with Victoria, Lauren, and Jasmine. Derrick, Mat, and Matt were there too!

I went to the Deaf classroom at lunch, and saw their desks in a circle, and them eating. (Geraldine was writing about it on her computer later, and explained that they were doing "step dancing"... Or something like that.)

Geometry: I was paired with Danny, and we studied for our exams next week. At the end, Ashley kept hitting me with a bunch of calculators. Ow. *sweats*

Well...I RUSHED to the bus that day...and...I sat in a crammed place. When I got home...I...forgot.

OHHH!!! I WAS SUPPOSED TO GO TO KAREN'S HOUSE FOR THE SCIENCE FAIR!!! But I forgot!!! ARGH... So we rescheduled to next Thursday... (But I can't. Christmas party...)

Saturday

I woke up to get ready for my orthodontist appointment. I have 6 months (or less/more) of braces left!!! WAHHHH!!!!!!! That means it might be three years!!! OY.

After that, we went shopping in a Chinese supermarket, where my mom was trying to buy roasted whole pig (the kind that's served at Vietnamese/Chinese weddings...or a Hawaiian-styled cooked pig...), but we couldn't find a reasonable price.

Uhh...we went home, and I don't know what I did afterwards.

My sister was supposed to go bowling with Anh Nhi at 10 AM - 2 PM (Fun-Plex was hosting an all-free-games for those hours!) and both wanted to go, but my mom got busy with grocery shopping, and Anh Nhi got sick. AWW...

I played MapleStory again!!! YAY! (I stopped around July-August...and now...it's DECEMBER?!?!) I played with Karen (a bit; we were stuck in different stages; we talked through the Free Market), but I also saw that Kathy was logged on!!! (She started playing again yesterday!!!)

And...after that, Karen logged off, and I played with her brother. We went to Amoria, the place where you get married in the game. IT WAS SO SURPRISING! (This stage wasn't open when I last played!!!) I bought a red tuxedo/suit that...cost me my ENTIRE money, but Robert (Karen's brother) made it up to me by giving me 50k... Yay!

Did you know??? It was my mom's birthday on Saturday!!!

Sunday

Urr... I woke up around 10 AM? And we had to go to church, so we left the house around noon to go church at St. Justin.

I tried looking for Vu, since I knew he went there, but it was in vain; I knew he went to church earlier than 12:30 PM.

That guy...with the "mole" and spikey hair! He was there! I asked him why he wasn't at the other church. He said, "Uhh...I woke up late." *sweats*

Mass was fine. My parents got their coffee, and me, my soda.

Then we went to Lucky Village in celebration of my mom's birthday yesterday. So we ate...and talked.

But!!!!!!!!!!! I was gonna be LATE for the festival!!! I called, and Nickkie picked up. So did Zach. And they said Chi wandered off somewhere and left her phone...but they had it.

So yeah. I called right after I finished eating, and Chi said they left A LONG TIME AGO. Like 1 PM???? (WHAT?!)

Gah...I missed...SO MUCH!

So we went to Home Depot, where my parents bought more potting soil to finish their landscaping stuff. (I still think they should pull out those fake flowers.)

Umm...I found good plants for hybriding! But we couldn't buy them; we had to leave fast. So off we went...to Wal-Mart!

My mom asked me to go to the plant section and see if I could get plants there, and on the way, I pass someone: it was Mr. Ebunilo! In traditional Nigerian clothing!!! We shook hands, and just talked... He FORGOT MY NAME!!! Eh...expected. He hasn't seen me in half a year.

So...all the plants in Wal-Mart were mostly dead. (Go figure.)

And...my sister and I bought Santa hats! YAY!

And...we went back home.

I'm working on a new theme, but it just doesn't seem to go right for some reason!!! GRR...

   Umm...Blah?

<bgsound src="http://prophecymoon.tripod.com/cab.mp3" volume=100 loop=1 autostart=false>

Start: 9:28 PM CST

Monday/Yesterday

In the morning, Carolina, Shoaib, Vu, and I were signing to each other about damages to ourselves. Carolina fell down, slid on the concrete and grass and her arm got scraped. Then Vu was talking about a time where something hit his leg, and he had to get stitches. Shoaib once, was biking, and a car HIT HIM on the side of his stomach! OW. Me...I was explaining the time when I was in kindergarden, and my brother rode his bike OVER me and broke my leg... So much blood. EW. (Danielle and her "boyfriend" were looking at us while we were signing...)

In P.E., I tried practicing a double-roundhouse kick. (It's called an Olympic kick? I forgot.) Anyways...I went outside and it was wet with rain, but I tried practicing martial arts and playing on the monkey bars. *laughs*

Then I went inside and played basketball with Akhil (nicknamed "Indian"), Huang (or was it "Hung" or "Huan"???), Jeremiah, and Brent (or was it "Brett"?). Ah...I couldn't see where I was shooting...yet, I somehow made my first shot. STRANGE. *laughs*

In Digital Graphics, Geraldine's translator kept falling asleep. OH! And my White Rabbit candy tile looks SO REAL!!! Geraldine needs her marbles tiles to look more...full. (I don't know why, but the translator's always been sleepy lately.)

In lunch, I talked about...nothing. I watch the Deaf guys signed to each other. I signed, "Remember Friday?" with a smirk/eyebrow-up style, and he gestured me not to say anything. *laughs*

In Geometry, we had a TEST. GAH. I guess on, at least, 7 questions. I SWEAR SOME OF THOSE QUESTIONS MADE NO SENSE!!!!

I stayed after school, but I found out there was no meeting for Robotics!!! WHAT?! But I still talked with the Deaf students.

Rahim is crazy. He likes girl/girl stuff... He wanted Arielle to hug (or was it "kiss"?) Alma.

And he threatened Arielle that he would break her CD if she didn't say "Do you want to go on a date with me?" to me. She groaned really loud on protest, and there was a point where it looked like he was about to break it!!! But she said it. (Of course, I know she wouldn't kidding.) Gearldine and I were scared it would've broken.

So I hung out with Dominique and Domonique, along with Frank (the Hispanic guy!). We found out we're alike! That we try to help relationships in friendships, but people don't listen to us. So we spent the time playing Yu-Gi-Oh! with each other. We met a girl, named Dominisha. And that football dinner thingy was today.

Jasmine...never blinks. And plays scary jokes on us by pouring soda on us.

...My backpack fell on an open packet of ketchup...on a rainy floor. EW...

When I got home, I...sent e-mail for my mom and practiced singing in Chinese...plus doing signed music for the Disney Channel's version of "A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes"... *laughs*

Tuesday/Today

In the morning, I was playing a three-way Yu-Gi-Oh! duel with Aaron and Dominique. After that, Ivan came over to play, and so did Carolina and Dalisa, to talk with Ivan (and maybe with Dominique?). After a bit, they walked back to their table, and I followed.

Anglie and Tien were sitting at the Deaf table, but at the side, because their table was full. So I sat kinda by them. Nohemi's boyfriend also came to join us. (I need to learn more people's names!)

Geraldine, Lauren, and I were looking at one of Charlene's encyclopedias, and we were skimming through animals! We just marveled at all the different animals, and we passed by a page that talked about stingrays, and me and Lauren explained to Geraldine that Steve Irwin was killed by a barb to the heart.

I headed to IPC, and during class, another teacher had a problem with her projector. So me and Sara (a senior that usually hangs with us during class), came over to try to fix it. But Sara figured out that the projector had no input. So guess what some people in the class said? "Let's go to Ms. L (my class) to borrow an input."

...An "input" is a link between two machines, where one machine receives information. *sweats*

In Transition, Karen and I wanted to start our Science Fair...SOON! So Karen and I asked for a pass to the library... Ms. Brown wanted Karen to stay to talk and me to leave the room. I was listening, and I didn't hear all of it, but I assumed that Ms. Brown thought bad of me.

Later, when I asked, Karen said that the teacher thought she had a hickey (spelling correct?) and was covering it up with a scarf. (What??? I wear scarves! They're stylish...? *laughs*) She thought I (ME!) gave it to her... WHAT...?

And she thought we weren't going to the library to make out...but to KISS...or SOMETHING LIKE THAT.

WHAT THE HECK?! My teacher is PERVERTED!!! She thinks I'M PERVERTED. I mean...why SUSPECT ME?!

She has this "ghetto dictionary" she got off the Internet... And we were all surprised she had it. And we passed it around, and Paul learned a new word: Big O. Or however you said it. (Isn't that an anime???) He kept repeating it during class...

There was a student who went up to her a few years ago, and asked, "Wow! You're so ghetto!!! Did you take ghetto lessons?!" She was being sarcastic and said, "Yeah, me and (this other teacher) hang out at the Clubhouse, over by Till Run."

(Clubhouse...from context clues, it sounds like a gang hangout.) And he ACTUALLY went to that place! WOW.

Anyways...at the library, we found out information, and we've decided to do flowers! Zinnias and marigolds...we'll meet at her house on Friday.

World Geography, we had a sub. A black man (with a slight African accent) wearing a lavender dress shirt. Tillery asked, "Where did you buy that shirt?!" (As in she wanted one too!) The sub replied, "I bought it in a store...you don't know about. In a different country."

In lunch, I sat, at first, by Dalena and Dalton, and I thought Dalena said "date" between them two, and I signed, "You two are going on a date???" And she yelled back, "NUH-UH!" I signed "Yes..." back by mistake--I meant to say, "Oh I see." But in ASL, "Yes..." can translate to "Yes you do..." And she yelled back, "I don't like him!!!" *sweats* (Translation between two languages. Confusing at first, neh?)

I later went to go sit by Ivan and Shoaib now. Argh, Ivan gets irritated more easily when I don't understand what he said. But I can understand. (Maybe that's why I don't see him anymore...?) I forgot what I was talking to Shoaib about. Oh yeah! Exam week all next week. OY.

In the rest of World Geography, Mohammad told a riddle that made me want to kill him. He did not even give the answer at the end!!!

Here's the riddle...

You follow a purple rattlesnake into a basement where you see a wizard. The wizard says you can only get out of here safely if you change the colors of your clothes. He turns your clothes from red into green, and you get out safely.

What does this riddle symbolize???

Clues:
The color purple might represent "royalty"
The color green, in this passage, represents "purity"
The color red means "evil"
In this story, when you mix green and red, you get purple
The snake might represent "faith"
The wizard might represent "God"

So...does anyone know the answer?!?! I SWEAR I'M GONNA KILL HIM IF I DON'T FIND OUT!!!

In Fitness, Christina went PSYCHO because of the basketballs. She kept rocking in a fetal position, croaking "Dooooomm...." whenever she saw a basketball. SHE WENT CRAZY!!! Lauren wanted to get a pass for her to go to the nurse's office! SHE WAS CRAZY...

So Domonique (girl) tried psychology. She tried tricking Christina into thinking the basketballs were volleyballs... The treatment worked...for a while. She thinks of them as "hard volleyballs" now... *sweats*

After school, I left my stuff in Robotics Club, and went outside to talk to the Deaf students. There were a group of students...mentally challenged, I think. (I think they were visiting???) Anyways, Vu was standing there, and I have NO IDEA what happened, but it was either some person STEPPED on his foot, or someone pulled a WHEEL across his foot. A woman said, "You better watch out where you stand." Gah...maybe the woman stepped on his foot. How mean.

So anyways...they all went. And Rahim was talking to me about how much his muscles hurt from weightlifting... *laughs* Oh, and Rahim seems to know the police well. Well, say "hi" a lot to them anyways.

GAH. The doors for the school were LOCKED, so I had to walk AROUND the school to the band room. Nelly came with me too.

Well, this meeting was to introduce new students. We have 4-5 new ones. Alwin, a black guy, Alissa (spelling?), and Janelle.

So...I tried running for reporter, and people liked my speech, and I was real enthusiastic about it. (It's probably the ASL that's helping. ASL helps me convey meaning WAY more better than regular English.) But in the end, I won last place. *laughs*

I was playing with Aaron's blue/orange toy basketball, and Nestor wanted it too. I gave it to him, but I stole it from behind him when he wasn't looking. And to get revenge, he tried stabbing my hand with a pen...but he stabbed his own. (OW.)

Aaron tried getting it back from me, but we got into a position that looked...uncomfortable. *laughs*

I learned I can read lips...REAL WELL. (WOW.)

Ah...after the meeting, I went to go get a soda, and I saw Travis and his friends. He was bragging with them about how I could speak a TON of languages. And one of his Hispanic (or Middle Eastern?) friends (a girl) asked me to say the sentence "I like meat" in all the languages I know. After that, she changed it to "I like apples." So I managed to say that in English, Vietnamese, ASL, Mandarin, Cantonese (wasn't correct, I think), and Spanish. She was SURPRISED I knew Spanish!

After that, we all were sent out. Then we had a double team duel of Yu-Gi-Oh! outside, but was ended because the buses started leaving.

I slept most of the time on the bus by Niyathi...

And I woke up a bit later...and talked. Dominique just saw me then and said, "TRAVIS!" (He just realized I was on the bus! How slow... *laughs*)

I got off the bus, ate dinner...and now I'm here.

Right when I got home, I was SO BORED... I decided to try a new hairstyle. I took a bunch of gel, spiked up my LONG HAIR and now my hair looks like Axel's hair...only black. *laughs*

My sister thinks it looks scary, my brother thinks it looks ugly, and my dad thinks it looks like no one else's hairstyle. (So it's original!) The only person that likes it is my mom. *laughs*

Well, off for homework! And sleep! Night!

   Retirement Home and Christmas Carols!

<bgsound src="http://prophecymoon.tripod.com/cab.mp3" volume=100 loop=1 autostart=false>
Enya
Caribbean Blue

Start: 8:02 PM CST

Friday

Umm...IPC. We had a test, I think.

Before the test, this boy... (What's his name?) Anyways, right before the test, the class was real quiet, and he said, in this kinda soft voice (to Rehman), "You have pretty eyes..." (Or was it "nice eyes"???) Anyways...it was random. And I think everyone heard him. *sweats*

Moonie said (this later Monday), "If a guy tells another guy that he has pretty eyes, then they're both gay." *laughs* How does it make BOTH of them gay if only ONE of them said it???

In Transition, I kept saying Karen was so adorable! (Her new bangs make her look so ADORABLE!!!) And I asked Dondria if she thought Karen was adorable... And Dria just went like "Ooohhhh..." And then she started explaining to the guy behind her how our relationship started... (What relationship?!)

I practiced writing hangul (Korean alphabet) with Karen.

Oh! And I found out one of the boys in our room was from Paris, France! (Ah! He was that same guy who was interested in sign language!!!) Ms. L and Ms. Brown started questioning him, asking if Paris was pretty, had a lot of violence, etc. (Ms. L replied that she had to ask all this, because she would never get the chance to go. *laughs*)

In Fitness, the group was just playing with each other, and I was trying to finish homework. Domonique (girl) was reading a book on Rotweilers, because she wanted one. We found out Domonique and Christina weren't going to our school next semester. (NO!!!!!!!!!!)

Also, we were playing a "game" where Kai kicked us off the bench. I fell down, and landed on my feet, then fell down and pretended I was dead. Raul did the same. Then we had to climb back up and avoid Kai not kicking us off again. While trying to do that, I kicked Domonique's Rotweiler book (while she was reading it) and she got angry... *sweats*

I turned in all my receipts from the Lubbock trip to Mr. Ruggles, and ran quickly towards my bus.

I talked with Vy and Kai...and Mohammad gave me a copy of Microsoft Office earlier in World Geography...as a Christmas present. *laughs*

Around 7 PM, we went to church...for a reason I forgot.

Saturday/Yesterday

I woke up around 9 PM, finding out that we weren't going to the orthodontist. (SHOOT! I could've gone volunteering!!!)

So I spent the time home, with my mom yelling at my dad and us all that day...

Moonie's birthday was that day, so Diana had biked to Anh Nhi's house to go play.

But my parents, who didn't trust my sister, drove to her house, just to make sure she was there--and safe. Her parents offered for us to come and play after I finish doing my community service.

So I reached the retirement home--Beechnut Manor, is what it was called. I came in, and Co Jennifer told me to go join the others in prayer outside. After that, we came in, and talked with the seniors there.

Ah...it was so hard! Most of them spoke Spanish, and when I tried speaking, they said they couldn't hear, and I was too afraid to repeat myself. (I suck, right?)

We sang Christmas carols, and for a while, I was signing the songs... (With difficulty. I had to look back and forth at the slideshow to see the Christmas song lyrics! *laughs*)

But some of the seniors were throwing me scared/mean looks... Was it the way I was dressed? *confused*

Vy, Zach, Chi, and Dai all came together a bit later...

I met Chi and Dai's great-aunt, and they say that she's lost her sense and has Alzheimer's. She kept biting people's hands--and her own...

Well, Kai came later, and guess what? We went to the wrong church to help out! He got dropped off at a black church, and did some work there, for like, an hour. (Didn't he realize we weren't there? *laughs*)

Zach put Kai's hand into Chi's great-aunt's mouth and let her bite it... *laughs* What the heck...???

So anyways...after the program was over, I sat on a couch with Kai...and we barely said anything. We talked a bit, but that was only about the upcoming Hoi Cho, which I found out was cancelled.

Kai stuck out... He was wearing all white. And the white beanie he was wearing? It almost covered his eyes entirely--well, except for the times he was looking around.

Was he looking at me while I was signing the songs...? (Huh, I think he was looking at Vy. Dunno.)

So we went to go stand outside (with Mimi thinking that me and Kai were brothers!!!) and his mom picked him up, with Barbara in the back seat. His mom offered to drive me home, but Kai said "No!!" Ah, my parents were coming to pick me up anyways.

Well, my parents picked me up, and they bought Moonie a present for her birthday--it was a winter-themed bath set. So they dropped me off at their house, and went back home to get ready (and to wrap the present).

So...I hung out with them, playing Red Steel, and I mangaged to kill Minh now! (Yay, I can beat him now!)

Later, my parents came, and gave the gift to Moonie. She said that my parents were nice. *laughs*

Also, Moonie's relatives came! Lots of little kids. Only two girls about my age--Xuan and Thu. (Which in English, translates to "spring" and "autumn".)

A bunch of us were playing Wii, and my mom said that the game looked dangerous, because we were swining around like CRAZY. (Four people at once, playing Tennis on WiiSports, in a crowded living room.) Wow, it was crazy. And at the end, Diana swung her controller into Anh Nhi's eye/face. OW.

We then ate... (I ate TOO MUCH!) And had root beer.

Umm...I got pummeled by a bunch of kids with balloons. It was CRAZY. And for two reasons:

1. I was older than them/I was older than elementary. (Age-ist!)
2. I looked like a nerd. (What the heck...?)

Let's just say I was attacked...A LOT.

My dad got drunk, and that's how we got to stay to play...a little bit more.

Also, Anh Nhi rented a movie from Kroger's, and she said that if she didn't return it in 14 days, they would charge her $60. She was so scared of her dad getting angry. So she told her mom, and Minh drove her to the store. She returned it, and they only charged her $15...which was better than the $60.

I left...around...10 PM...I think.

Sunday/Today

I woke up...around 11 AM, ate, got ready, and then headed to church.

It was rainy, and I talked with Chi the whole day, basically. (I also ran around the church, looking for Dalena, because Dianna wanted to give her a bag of jalapeno-flavored Cheetos...) And I got a candy cane from Dianna! And I ate people's gingerbread houses!

Viet Ngu...er...Theresa and Liz were trying to give their phone number to Vinh (the TA). *laughs*

Then we headed to Confirmation II class (which we hadn't done in FOREVER!!!--we'd always go outside nowadays) and we talked about schoolwork and yesterday's trip to the retirement home.

After that, we went to mass, and during mass, I kept signing the songs, with some weird looks coming from the people around me. *sweats*

After that, I saw Moonie and Minh with Anh Nhi! So we were just talking, and we were joking around...with Diana being mean to Minh...a lot. Anyways...we were joking, and Minh said that I was hot, like a jalapeño pepper... *bursts out laughing* My mom offered them a ride home, but their dad was already coming home...

Anne spent the WHOLE time decorating all the trees, and they looked REAL nice! Ahh...I wanted to help, but there wasn't much left to do.

Peter said my hairstyle was the only one he's seen that like before. (So it's original? *laughs*)

After that, we headed home, where we ate...

And now, I'm here...

I got Geometry homework! SHOOT!

I'm going to go now. Bye!

   Sleepy Sleepy Moi...

<bgsound src="http://prophecymoon.tripod.com/cab.mp3" volume=100 loop=1 autostart=false>
Enya
Caribbean Blue

Start: 8:51 PM CST

Yesterday/Wednesday

I was almost late for the bus! The bus stopped at a corner, and I got off that corner and rushed to the bus...

IPC... We had...a lab. I was with Alwin, and we got pH paper and litmus paper to test out different substances (dishwashing liquid, soda, mayo, etc.) to see if they were acid or base...

In Transition, I just studied the work that I missed during the Lubbock trip. A group on the left of me were talking about clothes... "To Kill A Mockingbird". That's what we're reading.

World Geography...err...I had my Chapter 8 test while everyone else had their Chapter 9 test. (I'll take mine later.) I think I did pretty well.

In lunch...er...not lots of talking for me. But after lunch, Miriam and I ran to a billboard, which was Christmas-themed, by the Deaf community in our school. Everyone had a picture of themselves on cut-out shapes of spherical ornaments, and there was even a "Learn ASL" thing for passerbys to take. Miriam gave me one, and we ran back to class. (Yay, now I know Christmas-themed signs... *laughs*)

In Fitness...ah...what did I do? I slept! On the floor! Some passerbys were saying, "I can't believe you can sleep on the floor!" (They were insisting that it was uncomfortale.) Domonique threw a Skittle at me... Umm...someone threw a basketball at me while I was asleep... Oh! And Raul says I snore when I sleep... *sweats*

Ummm...after school, I went to go talk with the Deaf students. Shoaib dropped Miriam's art folder into the grass, where it creased in half and fell onto an open packet of ketchup. Yuck. So Miriam was angry, and sat away from him. *laughs*

Andreah' was sitting outside, since there was no Robotics Club meeting, so both of us went inside to Guitar Club! I was practicing using someone else's guitar, but I'm still indecisive about what song I want to play for the next concert. An anime song? Or an English song so people could understand...? Hmm.

Anyways, after practicing with Victoria's guitar (Aaron's teaching...that guy "Simple and Clean"! Shoot, I need to learn his name.), I went outside, where Victoria, Hilda, and another of their Hispanic friends were practicing Hispanic dances. We were practicing flamenco, and then just random jumps, and Hilda said that I looked "graceful". *laughs*

There were lots of poinsettas that day... NHS was selling them, I think.

Well, there was this guy that bought a poinsetta tree, and he put the tree on the seat WITHOUT THE POT! So the soil went EVERYWHERE! Oy, it was a mess. It kept falling over and such...

Oh! It was Aaron's birthday! He didn't tell a lot of people though. (Later, I found out he got grounded on his birthday because of his grades.)

Today/Thursday

Ah...morning. I finally woke up EARLY! WHEE!!!

In the morning, I was with the Deaf students, and Paulina was trying to explain something with me about "friends", "dating", "no kissing", etc. I figured that she thought I liked her and didn't want to be dating... (This translation is wrong. See later for correct translation.)

DGaA - We started working with our tiling project! Ah, poor Geraldine... She didn't know what to do. I brought White Rabbit candy! After taking a picture of it, I ate it, along with Richelle, Samoya, and Geraldine had one piece.

English... Err...I finished last week's test! And...we turned in our mythology project! Nick made a Monopoly game using Odyssey themes, which was pretty cool. GAH, I got stuck in the Cyclops' cave TWICE! (That's the equivalent of jail.)

In lunch, again, I was explained the "no dating" thing again. This time, I think she said that she didn't want to be friends anymore. She said she had a Mexican boyfriend who was...9 years old (or in 9th grade OR nine years older than her) and...something. She kept repeating, "We're not friends anymore." Wah.

Her boyfriend doesn't want us to be friends anymore... I think that's the meaning...

In Geometry...we did...triangle stuff. I sat in the middle of Emily and Tina... And...it was pretty easy, but confusing.

After that, I went outside to talk with the Deaf students. Geraldine and Alma thinks Rahim needs a shave. (Ah, he's growing a moustache and beard! *laughs*) For some reason, the sign for "sex" and "shave" look the same...but "shave" is kinda continously random.

Anyways, while I was walking to the Robotics Club, Mr. Ruggles said I needed to go in and get my shirt.

I got it, and listened to the meeting. Oh! I still need an account on the website! (I'm a member and I DON'T have an account?!)

Then a group of us went out to print and hang up flyers. Ashley, Janice, Akhil, Aaron, me, James, and Kalem.

On the way, I saw Ashley saying "hi" to Mrs. Thompson! Turns out, Mrs. Thompson is the mom of one of Ashley's friends. She was asked to do a piano rectial for band, but she never got the song sheet, so she's gonna make it up as she goes along. *laughs*

Anyways...hanging up the posters. There was one incident where Janice hung up a flyer by the water fountain and I tried to fix it for her. But by doing that, I pressed myself to the water fountain...and...let's just say water poured all over my pants to have the illusion of me...yeah...

Later, I went to buy a drink from one of the machines. It stole my soda. I put in another dollar. It stole that one too. (Stupid, right?) Later, Domonique helped me kick it....violently, I might add, but it still didn't work. (These machines need to be replaced!!! PETITION!!!)

The principal saw us posting Robotics Club flyers, and said we looked like the Robotics Club because we looked robotic... (Eh???)

Eh...after hanging up flyers, a group of the guys (me, James, Akhil, Nick, etc.) went out to play Yu-Gi-Oh!

I noticed Dominique (the boy hard-of-hearing one) waiting outside. He said he had Band...but he was waiting outside... The other Domonique (boy) came outside and started playing Yu-Gi-Oh! too.

Later, Zach, Aaron, Chi, and Janice came outside. Zach and Aaron were discussing "A Separate Peace", which Zach and Aaron explained, was a love story between two guys. (Homosexual relationship between two guys, basically.) They had to write a topic on it. Chi said that she didn't want to do it because it wasn't a "normal topic". And Zach was pretending to be gay to Aaron... *laughs*

And then lots of running and screaming.

On the bus, I sat in the back, and I don't know how it happened, but a bunch of the guys got into this capping fight with Kaether. I won't explain it though...

Dominique (boy) seems really depressed... Nohemi, Aaron, and I tried to help him out...

I think while I was helping Dominique out, I was speaking tongues... Strange...

Ah...then I got home, ate...and now I'm here. Must go now!

   The Robotics Lubbock Trip!

<bgsound src="http://prophecymoon.tripod.com/cab.mp3" volume=100 loop=1 autostart=false>
Enya
Caribbean Blue

Start: 8:30 PM CST

Hiya guys! I've come home!...two days ago... Right. I got too lazy to post. But I had SO MUCH FUN! Here's what happened.

Friday

I woke up at 3:30 AM to get ready, and got there around...5 PM. BUT! No one was there, so we waited in the van (me and my mom). After that, everyone started coming after and such. We all talked, moved our luggage from the classroom to the bus, and waited 'til...7 AM. Right when school was about to start. UGH.

Black beret with orange beanie on top! (Nestor called it a "Mexican style" and just shook his head disapprovingly... Eh?) Then Amir went to go play football while we waited.

And zen we left! The trip was fun! Watching movies! OH! And at the beginning, I was getting a sparkling water for Ashley, and Ashley wanted to open it, so she opened it, and it SPILLED EVERYWHERE!!! She kept looking at it like crazy until I grabbed it from her and closed it. Then we cleaned it up. (To this day--probably, she is still afraid of that soda...)

Oh...we noticed. There was a hole in the window that looked like a bullet shot through there. You know how bulletproof glass looks like when it's shot? Yah, there's like a circular-looking crack, but it's not cracked all the way. WEIRD. We all noticed it, and someone said, "Who would be shooting the bus...?" Akhil screamed, "REPRESENT!" (After that, people thought he was in a gang... *stares*)

First stop: Nam was playing around in the snow. I developed hat hair. It was really cold at first, but then started to snow. Ashley, James, and I were looking at the funky mirrors by the bathroom. The hand dryers? They're G-force, I tell ya.

Second stop: We visited a Whataburger in another city (by Forth Worth?), and we played in the snow. (There was more now.) Everyone was attacking each other like crazy, and after that, we went inside to eat.

Third stop: A place called Market...something. Lots of cool souvenirs there...but I didn't get anything.

So when we DID get to the Holiday Inn & Towers in Lubbock (around 7-8 PM???), everyone attacked each other with snow...and then we checked in.

We put all our stuff up, and then...I started to get sick. (Actually, I was sick while we were checking in.)

A bunch of us went to go eat at Denny's (across the street from the hotel), and it took FOREVER to get our food!!! So the 10 PM meeting was moved to 10:30 PM for us. I got hot chocolate and a sandwich. (I sat with James, Ashley, and Andreah', while Chi, Zach, Janice, and Kalem sat to the right of us. Semi-circle booths, you see.)

But Andreah' didn't eat anything. (She NEVER ate anything there!)

We headed back to the hotel, where we listened to the late meeting.

I went to sleep around...midnight??? Nam just stayed up all night (well, until 4 AM) listening to music and watching Adult Swim...

Friday

In the morning, I was woken up by Zach and Chi coming in, and Zach taking pictures of me and Nam sleeping. (We were in the same bed, you see...) And Zach was gonna Photoshop these pictures to...well, I think you should figure it out.

I really didn't care, I just fell back asleep.

I went over to Ashley's/Chi's/Janice's room to play DDR (but before that, trying to find a Robotics shirt), and then all of us rushed to my/Nam's room to wake him up. Ashley and I sat on him, attacked him, and whatnot. *sweats*

We headed to the Spirit Arena in Texas Tech University to get ready for everything. We signed in, and then took a shuttle bus out to eat. But we ate on campus...with a LONG line. People were just playing in the snow, and Sherman was playing in the snow, making a snowman. People were staring at him, and one of our chaperones said, "You know, this is his first time seeing snow." *laughs*

Ah...the food? Burnt. Not that great. But anyways...we headed back!

Um...some team members set up booth...which was UGLY, in my opinion. It was wooden boards (the structure was great), with paint in the style of the ocean, the kraken (the club's mascot), and a submarine. The paint job was UGLY. I wanted to change it...but I had no time.

Presentation team... Akhil, Parul, Ashley... They said they didn't do well.

I met new people! I wandered around, and looked at the booths. There was a Chinese-style booth. "House of Flying Laundry", it was called. *laughs*

I also got to talk with some of the people who passed by! I met Lisa, a Chinese girl from College Station. (Which isn't that far off from Houston.) First question she asked me: "Hey, are you Chinese?" (Just walked up to the booth and asked. *laughs*)

A lot of people got to see old rivals again (they saw them October?), and I got to meet them. One of them was Maggie, a girl from a school called St. Agnes?

After setting up, we headed towards the hotel.

A group of us (Nestor, Catherine, Chi, Nick, etc.) went over to Wal-Mart. Chi and I bought more winter clothes (scarves, hats, etc.), and Catherine bought fruit and bathroom/hygiene stuff.

Umm...THEY ate at Wal-Mart, but they were leaving me, so I just RAN off after them with McDonald's food in my hands, plus heavy bags filled with sparkling waters and a scarf. *sweats*

Nick and some others spent their money on Yu-Gi-Oh! cards... *sweats*

Okay, why did we need to be back FAST? We wanted to go see the "Carol of Lights" event at Texas Tech, and...we were late.

The roads were lined with candles...inside McDonald's bags... They lead towards the front, which was crowded with a bunch of people. Catherine, me, and Andreah' tried to get up, but we lost Andreah' in the crowd. So Catherine and I decided to hold hands and go forward. We eventually found Chi, Bee-Ling, Jonathan, and etc.

Suddenly, the soft Christmas carols turned more dramatic, and people started throwing their glow sticks into the air (I wanted one!), and suddenly, the darkness turned into dazzling lights, hung on the buildings and Christmas trees. Ah...the music after that was SO BEAUTIFUL. Catherine said she wished she knew how to play violin again.

Then...we learned we lost Andreah'!!! GASP! But the teachers didn't let us look for her! (And the phone number she gave me was WRONG! I kept getting a guy named Dennis... He had an African accent.) We had to walk to Spirit Arena...by foot. Which was a few blocks away.

Nick was really happy. We practiced the cheers for the competition. (Since when is NICK happy to cheer???) Catherine and I felt REAL guilty that we left Andreah' by herself...

So...we started to decorate our place with our banners. BUT! We weren't allowed to do that. (And...Andreah' showed up later...quiet.)

After that, we headed back to our hotel...and practiced more cheers...until...11:30-ish? Then I fell asleep around midnight.

Saturday

Ah...I woke up arond 6:45 AM (LATE!) and readily got dressed for the Robotics Competition! I went into Bee-Ling's room, where I saw Nam trying to straighten his hair, along with the other girls. Nam...he failed unsuccessfully. *sweats* We started applying our green face paint...but I didn't finish.

When I got to Spirit Arena, I tried to finish my paint, and oncomers came by and laughed and said, "A bit early for the war paint, eh?" and another man (while I was trying to wash the paint off my fingers) said, "Can't get it off, huh?" *laughs*

Ah...lots of cheering, and it was real fun! And we even got some other teams to root for us! YAY!

Bee-Ling and I had to head to the booth around 10:30 AM to do some Q&A for the team. Ah, Zach stayed with us because to him, it seemed like we knew nothing about the robot. *sweats* And it was true.

Ashley invented a game to throw coins into containers (a megaphone, a can, a soda bottle), and if you made it, you got beads! Oh! Later, we switched it to throwing beads on the megaphone...which was on someone's head. Jonathan was first. Hehe...Megaphone Head. Like that movie with Triangle Head??? Yah. *laughs*

Back and forth, I moved. And quickly, I fell asleep...for like two hours.

I was the mascot every now and then, and everyone commented, "Nice hat!" or "I like your hat!", and one guy even commented, "I WANT YOUR HAT!!!!" *sweats*

Here's something funny that happened:

Me (wearing a Kraken hat): What sounds do Krakens make?
Andreah': I don't know...
Me: MEOW!!!!
Andreah': CATS DON'T MEOW!
Me: *starts speaking gibberish*
Andreah': ...
Me: I'm speaking Kraken...
Andreah': Well Kraken sounds like gibberish...

*both of us bursted out laughing*

Oh! And I think I started a style at the competition! There was a bunch of ways I was wearing my red handkerchief. Scout-style, ascot, folding it into a strip and tying it around my neck. No one was doing that on Friday. But on Saturday, I see all these people doing it! (Wow, I started a fad...AGAIN!)

We went out to eat...somewhere around noon, at a place called Furr's. It was a buffet, and I took a lot of food. (More than I could handle!) Nam seemed depressed and he said that some people there were hypocrites... Huh.

Andreah' still didn't eat anything. She had peanut butter she bought.

At the end, everyone was going CRAZY for these finger jackets, and spending all their quarters.

But before we entered the restaurant, a man with a beige cowboy hat asked why we had green paint on our faces. (Earlier, I told Ashley to tell people that we were mutants.) She said that we fell into dumpsters...and then she stopped talking. She realized what she said... And we bursted out laughing.

What she wanted to say: We fell into dumpsters and mutated into mutants.

We came back around 1 PM... Oh yeah! We left Catherine and Amir there... Aww.

We didn't have a band, so we used things we could find. Banging bottles on the chair, tambourines, megaphones, and we made a zydeco band!

A zydeco band is a band that uses regular/household items as musical instruments.

We played along with a band from another team and it was fun!

Ah...we made it to semi-finals! But then...we died. Well, we didn't pass finals. We scored 1th place! Out of 48 teams! Which isn't that bad!

We won third for shirt design and second for "Most Elegant Robot". We were ALL STUMPED. A robot...ELEGANT?! But they were referring to the robot's design.

Next year's competiton: Build a robot that can survive and explore Mars! (THAT SOUNDS SO COOL!!!)

After each genre of prizes they finished, they had a cool light show, where me, Akhil, Mariah, and Jonathan started break dancing to. *laughs* (Well, I was the only one raving...and we were in the bleachers...so yah.) It was so fun though! *laughs*

So after the competition was over, we went out to eat at Logan's. Ashley and Andreah' ate peanut butter...AGAIN.

I ate with Ashley, Kalem, Grant, and Grant's mom. Parul's parents came here too! (Wow!)

We ordered food, and talked with the waiter, especially Grant and his mom, about sports. And then we talked about the Robotics Competition.

Andreah' and Ashley were sent to a Staples store, and then it closed, so they went over to Toys 'R Us, where Ashley bought a small blue Naruto headband! Ah...Ashley and Andreah' were starting to make Mr. Ruggles angry... (Always running off, getting lost.)

We headed back to the hotel. I first walked to Wal-Mart to buy gloves alone (since I couldn't find James!!!), but there were no more gloves being sold.

I then headed to the pool, with Catherine, Bee-Ling, Nam, and Jonathan, where we stayed in the jacuzzi...with foamy stuff. (Later, I found out that "foamy stuff" was actually boiled chlorine... Ew.)

On that whole trip, there were these group of girls that kept flirting with Nam and Jonathan, calling them "hot". And the first night, they called Jonathan's room and said they were having a boob contest to see who had the biggest boobs. (Jonathan was like, "What the hell?!")

And in the pool, the girls kept giggling whenever they saw Jonathan... They didn't go INTO the pool, but there was a glass wall (windows and doors) before you entered the pool, and the girls were on the elevator...which was...glass.

Then we spent the rest of the night playing video games. ARGH! Mariah lost her memory card!!! So I spent time looking for it, and then we realized Kalem took it! (He said he DIDN'T take it, but he DID! On accident!)

Nam found two other cards... One was Akhil's...and a transparent blue one...whose we don't know.

And...we all fell asleep in one room. Akhil, Marish, me, Ashley, Jonathan, Bee-Ling, Nam...etc.

At first we were playing Soul Calibur III, then DDR, but then Kalem wanted to play Devils May Cry, so we watched video clips...and all fell asleep. We woke up at...6-7 in the morning and readily got ready to leave.

I had breakfast with Chi, Janice, and Ashley downstairs, and then we left.

I slept most of the time. I was woken up, and I realized I had DROOLED all over my clothes, and ughh... Stupid braces.

Our first stop was at that Market place...but I didn't feel like getting up.

Our next stop was around 3-4 PM, in Fairfield, Texas, where we had lunch at a place called Sam's Restaurant. Gah, so many cool antiques!!! I had lunch with Catherine, Chi, and Janice, but since we talked, we didn't get to eat lunch all the way. And I wanted to stop to buy presents for my family. A white dog plushie for my sister and a hand-painted stained glass windows (with a purple hummingbird sucking honey out of a purple flower) for my mom. But Mr. Ruggles was getting impatient because we had to leave soon.

Ah...Janice turned on Howl's Moving Castle on her laptop for us to watch, but we didn't get to see it all the way. We all think the Witch of the Waste is a pedophile. *laughs*

Ah...when I got to the school, all I got to do was get my stuff, and I was rushed home by my sister and mom. I never got to say good-bye. WAH.

We went to a gas station, and then home, where I unpacked and gave my family their gifts. My mom? She said I spent too much money on it ($10) and that I could've gotten a cheaper one at a dollar store. (I get you a really expensive gift and this is what you say???)

Ah...my dad got home...somewhen.

They didn't go to church school that day...

Monday

Ah...back to school. OY SHOOT. My bell... It rang, but I never ACTUALLY got up! WAHH.

Ivan came over to watch people play cards.

IPC - Did tests from last week

Transition - Talked about Robotics trip

World Geography - South America map test...I think I failed it.

Fitness - At first, I was playing volleyball with Christina and Dominique, but I gave up. I talked a bit with Raul and Kai... Kai...didn't answer. It wasn't until the end of the period that he told me to shut up because I was annoying. (Wah.)

He was also carrying a pink cylindrical lunch box, and he said it wasn't his. But when Raul asked, he said it WAS his, and that he was manly (???) because he was carrying pink. *laughs*

No Robotics...a break from work for one more day...and for rest.

The trip home was nice. I walked with Anita and we had a nice chat.

After that, Diana wanted me to go to Anh Nhi's house. After me struggling, trying to do my laundry and stuff, we left towards there! Anh Nhi and Diana just wanted to show me a doll...a naked "boy" doll...which had its private parts... (What kind of person sews private parts on a stuffed animal?!)

We spent the day playing Wii, like Wii Sports, and played with her webcam. When her mom came home, we had coconut/fruit cake. Yum.

Anh Nhi's sister came home around 6-7 PM, and she brought her boyfriend. Her name is Moonie (nickname?) and her boyfriend's name is Minh. They're both freshmen in college, I think...

We played Red Steel (a Wii game), and it was SO HARD for me to adjust to the controller! Ahh...he killed us so many times! Moonie kept hitting Minh because he took advantage of killing the beginners (A.K.A. me and my sister).

We biked home (Minh tried to steal our bikes earlier--he left them by a garden hose rack), with me sneezing.

Our mom didn't come home until 2 hours later...

Anh Nhi admitted on having a crush on me. But she thinks I'm gay...I think. She told me this online. She said, "I have a crush on a gay guy... Oy..." *laughs* I don't know how to take that.

Tuesday/Today

I woke up late...and the bus ALMOST left!!! NOO! I gotta get used to waking up early...again.

In the morning, I chatted with Vu (well, he was the only one doing the signing), and I went back to my table, with Ivan still watching the Magic card game. He'll play Nick tomorrow, he said.

P.E. - Umm...Jonathan (black one, not the Hispanic one from the Robotics trip) said that he wanted to try a man-on-man situation, and he just wanna see how it feels... And Whitney backed away...FAR. (Okay...I never knew Jonathan was like that.)

Digital Graphics - Not any work. We had a sub. Geraldine played online games and Richelle was watching "Heroes" online...with French subtitles. I couldn't read it at all...until she gave me one of the headphones.

I was late for Advisory! I went to third period! *sweats*

For English, we read the ending of "The Odyssey"! So it's finished. And...then we went to lunch.

In Lunch, I sat by Rodrigo, who was sitting with Alma. And I was just watching what they were writing to each other about...

English again. We went to the computer lab, and suddenly, the fire alarm went off!!! We all rushed outside to the parking lot, where I saw my Deaf friends. I talked with them, and then we saw fire trucks coming this way and smoke coming from the arena!

We didn't know WHAT was happening, so I just talked to them. I met another signer! She's not Deaf, but she knows a bit of sign language, so that was good.

Later, I learned that the fire started in the U hallway and spread through...four more hallways? Some boy took something, burned it, threw it into the trash can, and then it caught on fire and spread. (At least, that's what I heard from Anita.) And it happened in the Social Studies hall...

Miriam was explaining about last year, when they had the mercury spill, they had to sit in the football field and they got so hungry... *laughs*

Oh, Karen cut her hair! She has bangs now!

We came back to our classroom and it was HOT! It cooled back down, and Mariah made a rhyming song about "Emma had a dilemma". I made a song too!

Nicole had a pole
The pole's name was Joe
Joe was a...

And I never finished it.

We took a paint quiz, and it was so correct! *laughs*

So...we went home since (I think) all the activities were answered. I asked a black girl, and she said, "I don't know." and a black guy by her said, "What do you think we have clubs today or not?!" But he was kidding. *sweats*

I said "hi" to Na Nhi, and her friend asked, "Who is he?" (Isn't it funny to hear one of your friend's friend ask that? *laughs*)

So I went home...and now I'm here. I spent a while cleaning and doing laundry and my parents just came home a bit ago, with my mom being angry at my dad.

I need to finish homework. Bye guys!

   Going To Lubbock Tomorrow!

<bgsound src="http://prophecymoon.tripod.com/cab.mp3" volume=100 loop=1 autostart=false>
Enya
Caribbean Blue

Start: 10:22 PM CST

Hey guys! I'm going to the Robotics Club trip to Lubbock, Texas! Why? Well, we passed Regionals, and we're going to State! (Which just so happens to be in Lubbock... *laughs*) But that's, like, 12 hours away... And I won't be back until Sunday evening...so...

Today

Kathy finally came to school early! But Jasmine wanted to talk to me. She wanted to go to the office and try to get the money she lost from the snack machine. But we came too early--before anyone was working. But then I saw Shoaib, and went to go sit at his table.

I didn't talk much that morning. But Vu (as usual) always looked bored/sleepy, and in a conversation with Marty, Ivan, and Sean about basketball. Charlene was looking through an Art book...about art history? And Shoaib looked for a bit too. I tried explaining to them that I would be going to Lubbock, but they didn't seem that way. (Actually, they just had this "Ah." look on their face.)

First period...P.E. Listened to music! And I was signing Linkin Park (plus "Wake Me Up When September Ends") and one of the Mexican guys came up to me and asked what I was doing. I told him that I was translating songs into ASL. *laughs*

DGaA - There was a sub translator, and we basically just worked on our negative space "NEGATIVE SPACE". I helped Geraldine a bit, and the sub asked me, "How did you learn sign language?" and I explained the story, again. Then the sub went out of the classroom, and the teacher was trying to explain, and I REALLY wanted to translate, but all the teacher said to do was wait until he finished. (But luckily the sub came in!)

Wait...is it illegal for a student to transliterate a class?

English - We had a sub... Uhh... Gabby wrote "got gabb?" on the board, and Chris said, "'Gabb' sounds like an STD."

Same incident happened with him earlier when he asked, "Got Naruto?" A girl by him (who didn't know what Naruto/anime was) asked, "What's 'Naruto'? Is that an STD?"

*bursts out laughing*

In Lunch, I basically ate... Oh! Miriam's still trying to teach me words, but words I already know. Like "star"... (I realize that I've been signing it incorrectly this whole time.)

Geometry... Umm...we did Angle-Side Similarities and such... Ashley drank all my water... And I tried to attack Michelle to get her seat. *laughs* (I'm kidding! But I did want it... *laughs*)

On the bus, I sat with Madiha and I explained the Robotics trip. Well, she knew what it was already. She said that I would miss too much work...and we talked about work. Then I dozed off...for the rest of the bus ride, and then I talked with Angelie and Nancy about cars. After Angelie left, Nancy and I started talking about the Robotics trip and such. Oh, Nancy's thinking of getting out of Hightower. *sniffs*

Walking home to school, there were a group of kids by the sidewalk, and this girl said, "He's so hot!" (UGHHH...)

Um...when I got home, I tried REAL FAST to sort everything I could. Pack all my entertainment stuff and such. But I couldn't find an empty CD! They disappeared! Then I asked my mom, and she got angry, and started yelling, and then I realized she had it all that time. (She kept giving me errored CDs...)

We started driving off to the school, and came in through the workshop door.

I saw everyone, and later went to go stand with Catherine, Andreah', Jonathan, and Bee-Ling. We talked about what we were supposed to pack. There's a chance we might be snowed-in! (GAH! NEED MORE JACKETS!!!)

I went around, talking to everyone, at the end of the period. Ashley and Moriah brought DDR!!! (Ashley brought the game AND two pads!!!) WHOOPEE! Now I'm happy!

Chi and Janice came during the meeting, and Janice said I smelled like Barbie dolls... GASP.

My mom and sister thought Zach was Nam... Nam didn't come, but his mom did.

After that, we went to Wal-Mart and bought food...and some for my trip tomorrow. (Like, to eat on the 10-hour trip!)

And...I should sleep now. I'm only gonna get 5 hours of sleep anyways. Bye! See ya in four days!

Getting Ready for Robotics Club State!

<bgsound src="http://prophecymoon.tripod.com/cab.mp3" volume=100 loop=1 autostart=false>
Enya
Caribbean Blue

Start: 8:14 PM CST

Sunday

We went to church at 11 AM, since there was no Sunday school that day... (After church, I was talking with Andy, who kept running off to find Ricky. Diana had to carry this little girl in her arms. *sweats*)

We went to a Thai restaurant after that. Thai Choice...I think. Anyways, the atmosphere was very dark. Hehe. I had a sweet and sour chicken (along with my sister) and my mom had a small soup. My brother didn't eat ANYTHING because he said nothing on the menu looked good... UGH, stupid him.

But the chicken was so big! I mean, all the food in that plate. So my mom helped me and my sister finish it.

Also, there was a man (very old, white beard, glasses) that was sitting by us... He was real nice, but quiet. He seemed to be waiting for one of the waitresses there... Huh.

And there was a nice Thai man (very young) with his Indonesian (?) friend and a girl (I'm guessing one of their wives???) and had a small chat with us.

Lots of little kids playing with the Thai decorations around the store... *laughs*

After that...I went to Target, and I FINALLY found a beret! WHEE!!!! I was so happy! But it's kinda raggedy. Like the threads are coming loose. Or is that a style now? *sweats*

Then Wal-Mart. I wanted to get an iPod so I could listen to it to the trip to Lubbock, but my mom said it was so small (easy to lose) and it costed too much.

Monday

On the bus ride in the morning, I decided to wear my beret to school. The bus driver said I got written-up for riding another bus (Mr. Flores--that's Shrina's bus!) and...I talked back (I think that's what she said) and got dropped off at Arizona Flemming...? Eh?

When I was wearing my hat, a group of girls said, "Looking fly!" and giggled. (I was wearing my beret. Then I took it off.)

In the morning, I was playing cards with Aaron! (Yu-Gi-Oh!) and I saw Freddy passing by and signed "How are you?" and "How was your Thanksgiving?" I had trouble recognizing a word... He said it was "ice" something... I-C-E and then he stopped spelling. Huh. Ice what...?

After that, I went to go sit over there, and I chatted with the rest of the group about their Thanksgiving.

Ivan cut his hair! (WOW.) And he came over to our table (Aaron and the others) to show off his cards and watch Nestor play Magic: The Gathering.

In P.E., I was SO OUT OF SHAPE! Stupid food! (Ah, how can I say that?! It was GOOD!) But suicides (running REAL FAST back and forth) made people so tired...

And I spent the rest of the time in the weight room listening to Jonathan's MP3 player. (Linkin Park music!) There was a boy who saw me signing earlier while I was walking to class with Paulina and he kept making clicking noises. It's because when I sign, people think I'm Deaf. And sometimes, people will make these soft noises--clicks, for example--to see if I can hear it or not. Ah, but I ignore it. He was SO SURPRISED when he heard me talk. He asked if I knew sign language, and he seemed real interested in it.

Cheeto (yes, it's the name of a Mexican friend I have) is currently learning the ASL alphabet. He says Carolina is teaching him. (Yay, so many people are learning!)

I wore my beret again, and Whitney and Jonathan thought I didn't look "tough" enough to wear a beret. (It's a beret!) I kinda cut the style. They said I looked more like an immigrant boy. *bursts out laughing*

Huang thought I looked like an elf... But I thought I looked like a leprechaun. (Hispanic guy: "A pretty damn big leprechaun!")

Digital Graphics - We have to make the word "NEGATIVE SPACE" into negative space by drawing shapes and pictures around it. ...Uh, I'll show you later.

English - Lilian asked if I went to the Homecoming Dance (which was two months ago?) and I said "yes". She asked if I danced with any black girls. I said "Some." Then she asked at the next dance if I would dance with her. (She even said she would give me a dollar!) I just said I would dance with her for free... *sweats* Then her friend wanted me to go in the middle of the class and dance. *sweats*

In Lunch, Vu was making videos! I think... Ivan had his camera, and he was recording signings of Vu. It was like an introduction. "Hi, my name is Vu and I'm a junior." Stuff like that. Waheed signed that he looked gay. Oy... *sweats*

Ah...I was wearing my beret, and Thrystan said I looked...something. "Fly" was the word I think he used.

In Geometry, I had so much fun talking to Danny, Thi, and Michelle. I wore my beret again (I take it on and off; hats aren't allowed in school, but teachers don't care) and Fola thought I looked handsome. Babetta said I looked like a newspaper boy. *laughs* Thi and I just talked about the test and other random things.

But all throughout that day, people from my bus came to talk to me about that incident with the bus driver. First Anita, in the hall, then Danny in Geometry (he said it was partly his fault...? Then he said he was kidding...), and then after school, Madiha said to go to the bus driver and said that I didn't do it. Madiha even said that she would be my witness. But ah, I had to go to Robotics, so I didn't go on and walked to the Deaf area.

I just basically talked to them about their Thanksgiving... I wore my beret and Dalisa thought it looked weird. I also rolled up my jeans (so I don't get them dirty from the mud, water, and grass from the heavy rain) and that also made it look weird... *sweats*

Freddy's afraid of birds flying down and pooping... *bursts out laughing*

During Robotics, we stayed outside and learned the dance moves. At first, Nam saw my hat and wanted to wear it. So we swapped hats. I got his gray beanie and his brown cotton/leather gloves. But then I wanted it back, so I had to race back and forth to get it. (Running back and forth from the workshop, outside, and the classroom. I eventually got it back and tied a red handkerchief to my neck (like an ascot) and people said I looked French! *bursts out laughing* I need to show pictures...

Well, on the bus home, Dominique was practicing the song, "This is Halloween", from "Nightmare Before Christmas". He's trying out for "Godspeed", a play about the life of Jesus. (The next day, I found out Kaether and Nam also auditioned.)

Okay...when I got home, I started packing my luggage for the trip!

Tuesday/Today

In the morning, I was playing Yu-Gi-Oh! with Aaron, and I was talking to Shoaib and why he wasn't here yesterday. He said he fell asleep and missed the bus. Ah.

The battle between Aaron was HARD. We could NOT attack at all, and in the end, it was a tie. We died with both of us having 0. (GRR, I need more negate cards!)

I went to go over to talk to them and I tried making an introduction video! (Ivan recorded.) But it sucked! All I could come up with is: "Hi, my name is Travis and I'm a freshman at Hightower." Then it died right there. *sweats* Lots of recording of Vu signing. Waheed thinks Vu signing in those videos are gay. *sweats*

In IPC, we had Jell-o (solutions, colloids, etc.) and chromatography experiments (we had no chromatography paper though...)!

In Transition, I drew anime pictures and talked a bit to Karen. Ah, this'll be the last day I see her. Trip, you see.

In Advisory, we wrote Christmas cards for children who are terminally ill. (Sick to the point where they will die.) So I wrote an uplifting poem...that came out of my head like snap. But Kaether hates people who write poems...and still believes in Santa. *laughs* (Tell him you don't believe in Santa, and he'll say "Screw you!")

In World Geography, our teacher wasn't here, so we had a sub and did a worksheet on Latin America. Tien found her Mashimaro plush! (Oh, did I tell you? Tien has contacts now.)

Lunch... I sat with Chi, Zach, and Jonathan. Zach likes to say, "So Travis, I heard you're sleeping with Nam." *laughs* *sweats* (We're sharing a room for the trip.) They re-did the whole list thing.

Oh! Did I tell you? We have to bring our luggage a day earlier so that they can get drug dogs to come in at night, and sniff our luggage for drugs. Ugh.

Jonathan got his sticker for his letterman jacket!

And I went to go sit with Ivan, Paulina, Charlene, and Arielle (I hadn't seen her in FOREVER!!!). I wanted to make that video again, but...eh.

In Fitness, we all sat together and did stuff. Dominique and I were braiding Christina's hair, and Lauren got angry whenever Christina tried to braid my hair (which was TOO SHORT!). Lauren believes Asian people shouldn't braid their hair...or get cornrows. (Cornrows I understand, but BRAIDS?!)

Then she started reading "Ayashi No Ceres" and I stood behind, reading it. Volume 6, I think.

After that, we all went to the corner of the gym so we wouldn't get hit by basketballs.

Is it just me, or does Kai look different every time I see him? (His hair is extra long now! Oh...the girls wanted to braid his hair, and he scooted back...FAR.) *laughs*

I went to go talk with the Deaf students, and Shoaib, who had a bag of pens. (You know those catalogs schools give you to sell stuff? Yah, he was just getting his stuff back.) Anyways, he was trying to sign something to me, and Geraldine translated for me. He was asking if I knew Japanese Sign Language. Vu told him that I knew it. (Or did he say Chinese Sign Language?)

I said I only knew a few words in Vietnamese Sign Language, and the ONLY word in Japanese Sign Language I know how to say is "eat", which looks like chopsticks (or an "r" symbol) at your mouth, and your other hand acting as a bowl full of rice, and the "r" sign scooping into the bowl of rice and placing it by your mouth.

After everyone went, I went to Robotics, where we practiced our dance moves. But Bee-Ling wasn't there, so Mariah had to take over. But no one would pay attention. We were all playing around and stuff. We practiced more when Bee got there, but even so, they still (even Bee) played around.

Akhil and I went to the tennis court. But Nick and Jonathan screamed out, "You lovebirds! Don't go gay! It's not the right way!" Akhil just screamed back, "WHAT?!"

So we borrowed tennis rackets and played... Actually, I had to run back to get my own. Oh, and Chi and Zach were watching for a bit.

I bought a bottle of root beer and talked a bit with Jasmine. I also talked with George, and Dominique, who was being chased by Nick and Jonathan for his soda. (EEP!)

After that, I took the bus, and tried to talk to spirits. Yeah, me weird. *laughs*

Then I biked home. (After getting off the bus.)

And...I had a salad.

I need to go shopping for snacks to bring.

And...there's a meeting tomorrow. I'll bring my luggage then.

Start: 10:19 PM CST

Friday

Well...I woke up around...10-11 AM to find that my mom already went to the after-Thanksgiving sales!!! (NOO!!! I WANTED TO BUY AN iPOD ON SALE!!!)

Well...she came back...buying stuff. She bought two bikes for us... UGH.

And she wouldn't take me to any sale. (She got home around 2 PM, and she said the sales were over.)

So...I spent the whole day playing Gunbound...and eating Thanksgiving leftovers. YUM.

I want MORE!!! *cries*

At night, I was on my computer (when I wasn't supposed to), and my mom came into the room and caught me with my laptop under my sheets. (I was also wearing my glasses in bed. STUPID ME!!!) She took it up, and locked it up. WAH.

Today

I woke up around...10 AM and got my laptop out of the room she locked it in and played Gunbound the whole day...

And now...I have nothing to do.

Boring days, right?

   Happy Thanksgiving!!!

<bgsound src="http://prophecymoon.tripod.com/cab.mp3" volume=100 loop=1 autostart=false>
Enya
Caribbean Blue

Start: 10:20 PM CST

Oy, I haven't posted in a WEEK!!! I thought, "EH...I don't wanna post today!" and it would've made it EIGHT days, but eh... Can't keep this laziness up, now, can I?

Friday

I was trying to talk to Ivan in the morning, but he looked so sleepy... (Or was that because of his hood?) And then he started reading a manga... (I can't remember. It was either "Ranma 1/2" or "Trigun"...)

In IPC, we were learning about combustion, and our teacher did the coolest thing! She took a plastic 5 gal. water bottle (dry, of course), coated the inside with alcohol and stuck a match inside, and BAM! The fire travled into a circular motion and shot out of the mouth!!! It was SO COOL!!! And then the excess was water... Combustion creates carbon dioxide and water. La.

Transition: Hmm...I finally sold a Dominoes' card!!! YAY!!! Mrs. L bought one!

Saturday

Uhh...I went shopping at Kohl's around...3 PM with my mom and I bought new jeans and such! Oh! At the cashier place, my mom handed over her keys to dig in her purse for her pocketbook, and the clerk (an elderly lady) said, "You're going to let him drive???" *laughs*

After that, we headed to H-E-B and bought food. I rushed over to OfficeMax to pick up my project supplies, and we went home.

Sunday

Uhh...church school! The beginning started with a bunch of us playing Thirteen (playing cards) at a desk, and then we went our separate ways.

In Confirmation class, we had a guest speaker, who was a woman who used to be Buddhist a few years back, but converted because she felt that the Holy Spirit had touched her. (And she was our guest speaker.) We had two, really. A guy, and then the woman.

After that, they asked all the students to come form a circle around the altar and all the TAs started praying for each person. (They would pray by putting their hand in front of a person's forehead, and would do it two persons at a time.) Then, I saw a bunch of people started to cry... And, then, I listened to what the TAs were praying it... It wasn't English...it was TONGUE!!! I IMMEDIATELY recognized the language, even if I didn't know the language itself. If you don't know what it is, it's the language of the angels, and it's used to prophecize. You can't learn this language though. It's like...a temporarily language, given to you by God, for him to talk to you (even though you can't understand). I was so thrilled to hear it for the first time, but everyone else was like, "Eh."

I spent ALL night doing my Geometry project! (I had a month to do it, and I rush on the last night?!) Oh! Vu didn't know to do it either, so he started on it too! He asked me to bring a sheet of poster board for him... I was so tired. I only half finished it. (I did the board, but I was also supposed to do a 3-D model of my kitchen.)

Monday

In the morning, our usual bus driver wasn't there, and we got a sub! The sub saw that there was three people to a seat, and that it wasn't safe, so he asked another bus to drive some students to school. (Students: "YAY!!!") So, me, Izien, Felix, and Dominique went to the new bus. But it was so horrible!!!

First, we learned that the bus gets 45 MINUTES AFTER our bus gets to the school!!! Secondly, the bus was held in traffic because of a bus not moving!!! GAH!!!

But we did get to talk to Kathy! That was nice... She said that she and her family went camping recently... (In the fall???)

Ah...in Computer Graphics class, I asked where Vu was so I could give his poster board to him. Oh! And I finished my starfish/rabbit. (If I EVER get a USB drive, I'll show you guys what it looks like.)

Uhh...Derrick and Mat sat with us again. They were being crazy again. Miriam signed that he was crazy and--I didn't understand the rest. I have an idea what she said, but not exactly. Anyways...yeah.

English...we had to do skits off of "The Odyssey"! We did a scene where they were at the Cyclops' place, and we were the sheep. (Well, Nicole and Mariah were the Cyclops, they were piggy-backing; Nicole was on top with a paper eye-patch) and I was one of the sheep. (My backpack was a man... *laughs*) Dalisa saw us practicing in the hallway, and she thought I was nuts. (Uhh... *sweats*)

Geometry...uhh...we had a test! Also, I turned in my project half-done. But even if I finish and turned it in late, I'll still get the same grade if I finish it and turn it in late. (That's what Reba told me.)

In Robotics Club, I forgot to bring my toy!!! GRARGHHH... So what did I work on...? I FORGOT! *laughs* OH YEAH!!! I went outside, and I saw a bunch of people there. Janelle, Andreah, Alvin, Bee-Ling, Nick, and Jonathan. Bee-Ling was teaching Nick and Jonathan how to...something-dance. (I forgot the name of the dance!) But Bee-Ling had to do something, so she asked Jonathan and Nick to practice dancing with each other. (Alvin said, "I wish I had my camera with me!") Later, I had to practice with them too. (Ah...camera. None. *laughs*)

Oh yeah! Janelle, Andreah, Alvin, and I were pretending to be Soul Calibur/Tekken/Final Fantasy characters! We were fighting with PVC pipes! Janelle was Tifa, I was Cloud (but I had a broken back--that's what Cloud gets for lugging that large sword around!!!), and so forth. So when we were battling, I pretended to have a bad back, and my PVC pipe was a cane. *laughs*

We also tried to make a human pyramid. I was on the bottom. (Surprisingly, they're not heavy. *laughs*)

ARGH!!! No late buses that day! Me, Jonathan, and Alvin were waiting for our rides, and we just sat there, drinking fruit juice and eating ice cream... And I took pictures of Alvin's origami and such.

I didn't get picked up until...7-8 PM, but before that, a bunch of students (including Tina, Whitney, Niyathi, and Shanna) were all dressed-up for some student ceremony... To get their letterman jackets, I think.

So after that, my mom drove to Cici's Pizza, where we ordered pizza. And then we went home.

Tuesday

In the morning, Paulina was crying because Lauren called her "anorexic". (In sign language.) And well...she got over it a bit. I wanted to help, but I didn't know what to sign... I didn't know her that well. So...we got into a conversation with video games! She has a Nintendo...the old kind, I think.

In IPC...we had...an exam.

Transition: Karen asks if I want to go ice-skating with her, and Dondria picks on us, saying that it's a date.

Transition: Kaether borrows my calculator. (Haven't gotten it back yet.) We printed out HHS Academy papers. (I wonder if I can join 2 Academies...)

In Lunch, I sat with Paulina and we signed to each other for a bit...but I was REALLY surprised Mat and Derrick didn't sit with us! (I saw them a while ago...) Sean looked sad... Carolina always looks kinda a bit unhappy when she sees me. (Or maybe she's just tired.) And when I tried to talk to Shoaib by his classroom, he told me to go to class. (Not in a mean way, but kinda expecting me to leave. Huh. What's he up to?) He was kinda hiding behind the door, peering out the window... Eh...

Then comes Karen and her friends. And Jessica...and Tiffany...and Arianne. They start DRAGGING ME and TRYING to make me hold hands with Karen!!! So they kept dragging me (while I was trying to sign to Shoaib) and Karen goes, "How rude! He's trying to have a conversation with someone!" and I thinking Arianne was signing "House! House house!" to Shoaib. (Or was it "Hello!"???)

Uhh...in Fitness, we sat in the bleachers and drew the whole period. Raul had a Nintendo magazine and I saw previews of "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess"!

Christina made a comment about the Gorons being rocks on crack... Or we being on crack and it SEEMS LIKE the rocks are talking to us. *laughs*

Ah...outside, there was a pep rally, and everyone was watching, even the Deaf students. Oh! And my Deaf friends had sold cakes and stuff from catalogs (you know those fundraising things your school asks you to do?) and were holding the boxes with the food to give out to the people who bought it.)

Anyways, I was telling Alma about me maybe going ice-skating with Karen and I told her I couldn't skate, and she laughed, and imitated me falling down on the ice. *laughs* I also learned that Geraldine knew how to ice-skate...

Also, Rahim was walking around in these sunglasses, trying to look cool, and he comes to me, and says there are these twin girls inside. (I think he said "hot" twin girls? Shoot, I need to pay attention to signs more.)

In Robotics, I did some flag practicing with Bee-Ling and the group! After that, I stayed (called my mom to pick me up), and I played a Stickman online shooting game with Kalem, Nestor, and another guy. AGH, I kept dying!!!

Then...pizza came! (By then, it was...6-7 PM?) I started to eat, but learned that it cost to eat the pizza! (Why didn't anyone tell me?!) So I paid right there... (Thank goodness they had extra pizza.) We got a soda, and we ate... I brought an extra slice for my mom...

Then we went to Dominoes and got four pizzas for my brother and sister...

Wednesday

Ah...sleeping in...until noon. Vu didn't wake up until 1 AM. Nickkie told me there was a thingy at Janice's house, and asked if I was going. (Melinda, Nida, Vy, Huy, and Sue were going too!) I said okay, and asked if Alex and Vu (who didn't know any of them) if they wanted to go.

So after waiting for Alex's permission (her parents weren't home!) I headed off to Vu's house first! First of all, I couldn't find Vu's house number. (Did he give me the wrong one?) But he comes out of his house, with his sleeping clothes still on, and invites me in. Then, he goes upstairs to change, and his little brother starts signing to me. Ah...but I talked, to tell him I was hearing. *laughs* His name's Bao, and he asked me for my MySpace name... (What's with it and people to get a lot of friends on MySpace...?) So Vu and I go off... I told Vu to bring his bike, but he wanted to walk. So we went off!

Ah...by Kathy's house, I see her sister and her friends (relatives?) washing their parents' car, and squirting each other soaking wet. I asked if they saw Alex... They said "no". But out in the corner, I see Alex coming by!

So I introduce them to each other, and I keep on trying to sign to Vu, but you can't hold a bike and sign at the same time, ya know? So I offer to switch back and forth on my bike with Vu... (So that he doesn't get tired.) Ah...we finally get there, and he sees all (well, most) of them coming out, and he gets this shy, awkward look on his face. (Is it because there were so many people? Or that they were all girls?)

So...lots of people pushing, locking doors, and then, Janice's garage door messed up. Janice invited us in, and asked if we wanted a drink or s'mores... (I had to translate.) Ah...but then, all the friends had to leave except Sue, Janice, me, Vu, and Alex. (Nickkie was so depressed because she wanted to sign with Vu!!!)

Janice's TV messed up for a while... But it worked again.

So...we tried to get Vu into a conversation. I started off trying to translate everything people said. Sue kept BEATING ME UP (stepping on me, punching me in the back to the point where I want to throw up, throwing pillows at me) because I was either signing and not speaking English at the same time, or she thought I called her "crazy". At first, I said, "They're all excited and crazy..." because there is no ASL word for "hyper" (it's also considered "slang"), I think... But Sue took that as "crazy" and punched me...HARD. Now, my sign for "thinking" looks like "crazy", and she punched me whenever I signed "thinking"...

I also tried to sign a story about a ghost named Fred that likes Sue's kitchen. (She was telling a story.)

And also, I was trying to sign a conversation between Alex and Vu. About sports. What sports they were good with, what they were not, etc. It was nice.

Now I'm thinking of giving Alex a sign name! Maybe..."X" with "cool". But that looks like apple! We could combine "A" and "X" with "girl" and "cool", bu that looks like "apple girl"... Ah, it's so hard to choose. It has to fit her personality, but I don't know...

AH! I just thought of one! Kinda complicated, but it's worth it...

There was something Vu said that made me feel bad. He admitted, "I hate being Deaf. I wish I could hear." and it just made people quiet... Then Sue talked about if Sue was Deaf, her mom would be angry and blame her dad, because her dad's side already has two mentally ill sisters...and her mom thinks she's starting to go crazy.

...

Ya know, it's funny. When I first told them I was bringing a Deaf guy over, they got SO EXCITED and started saying (overhearing), "I know sign language!", "I know my ABCs!", "Does anyone know sign language?", "Travis knows sign language!", and stuff like that! And then when they come over, they seem scared to talk to him. (Weird...) I hate communication barriers.

So anyways, I said that Sue was more violent than Dalisa, but I don't think I signed that correctly. Then he told me that Dalisa thinks I'm a "fag". (There's a sign for that, believe it or not.) Ahh...that's so mean! He told me Dalisa has problems...and signed the word for "crazy"... *laughs*

So...we all split up to go home, and I got home...LATE. UGH. Like, RIGHT BEFORE the sun goes down. I see Said (older one) and Josue biking around, and the neighborhood kids playing basketball with each other, and they wanted me to play basketball and ride bikes with them, but I had to stay home and cook...

So I made cranberry sauce...

Thursday/Today

I woke up around 7 AM, and got ready for church. We went to church at 8 AM, and it finished at 9 PM. We went to Walgreens for some stuff, and I went home, and started cooking right away! OH! THE HORROR!!! I started cooking a bunch of stuff, and I felt so miserable, especially with no one helping me, and everyone was being such a...GAH!

Here's what we made:

Mom:
Turkey

Me:
Mashed Potatoes (FROM SCRATCH!!!)
Candied yams (messed-up)
Stuffing (messed-up)
Cornbread
Bundt cake (turned out good, but it broke when coming out of the pan; my mom later made it into a mint chocolate ice cream cake!)
Cranberry sauce

Diana:
Biscuits

Ricky:
Nothing (except eating; he wouldn't even help wash dishes!!!)

We cooked...and slaved on a hot stove and oven!!! And I'm STILL HUNGRY!!!

Oh yeah. When we were about to eat (start cooking around 10 AM, finished around 5 PM), my mom started cutting into the turkey. GUESS WHAT?! There was still blood in it!!! GAHH!!!!!!!!!!

No one really had an appetite today... Unh...

So...after that, I took a break and played Gunbound and chatted on AIM.

I'm tired. Let me sleep. Night!

   I'm Sick...

<bgsound src="http://prophecymoon.tripod.com/cab.mp3" volume=100 loop=1 autostart=false>
Enya
Caribbean Blue

Start: 10:07 PM CST

Yesterday/Wednesday

In the morning...I sat by Ivan, with his hood up, and we just spent the morning...chewing gum.

Oh, did I tell you? Janelle broke her Nintendo DS touchpad...by dropping it in her toilet. (This happened Monday/Tuesday, I think?)

In IPC...urrr...earlier that day, Mrs. Brown was having a conference, so the class stood outside for a while. Babetta and I were talking with Hanny and Chelsea, with Hanny trying to convince us that Chelsea was evil.

Babetta: "Making a crippled run! How evil (Chelsea)!"

Yeah...Hanny hurt her leg, and Chelsea kept running ahead, not waiting for Hanny...

We did a lab. We mixed calcium bicarbonate with (another chemical) and phenol red and water and it caused the chemicals to turn into hot, bubbling, yellow foam... Pretty neat. (People kept rubbing it on their skin because it was so warm... But you can get chemical burns from that. Oh, so you know, we did these labs in paper bags...so we don't damage it.)

On the bus later that day, Danny was explaining to me how his group kept sniffing the gas inside the bag. (GAH! You weren't supposed to open it!) They said, "It smells like burnt rubber tires..." and stuff like that. (DUR! It was PURE carbon dioxide!)

In Transition, Karen and me went over more Korean stuff! *laughs*

In lunch...I sat with Jonathan, Chi, and Zach. (I hadn't done that in a while!) But it was so quiet... And when Alma and Dalisa came over (they were passing by to go outside), I started sign to them, and Zach just commented that it looked weird... *laughs* Okay...

In Fitness...urr...we just sat on the bleachers...listened to music...did silly things, such as playing frisbee amongst each other. And then there was this one time that Kai tried to push me off the edge (AGAIN) just because I made a comment about that family again. I don't know why, but at the beginning of class, Raul gave us fruit nicknames. Raul was "Apple", I think. I was "Grapes" at first, but Raul changed mines to "Tangerine"! Raul gave Kai the nickname "Kiwi". (Just because both started with the letter "K".) I don't know why, but I think I saw Kai's eyes getting watery at that point...almost like he was about to cry...

Now that I think about it, wasn't Kiwi ("Chiwi", actually) the nickname Kai gave to Chi...? Huh...

Then we changed it to "Kumquat", but we didn't know what was, so we gave up on it altogether.

Oh...I met my Hispanic uncles. The Prince of Darkness and the Hispanic Shorty (Shortie)??? (I forgot...something like that.)

After that, I rode the bus home, where I sat with Danny (which I haven't done in a LONG TIME!) and talked... His friend kept looking at us...back and forth. *stares*

Danny said he had to take a test today. It was for students who spoke a foreign language, and they had to take a test to see how good their English comprehension was. (But Danny was born in the U.S....) So, when we went to the test, they asked him questions like, "What animal breathes underwater?" and tried to use big words like this: "Don't worry, this is just a randomization standarization test." (That contradicts itself. If it's standarized, it can't be considered standarized...) And whenever he got it right, the teacher could clap happily and say, "Good job!"

After that, I got a haircut! (The next year, Lauren groaned because I cut my hair short again.)

Then I went off to church! I met up with Theresa (that's Thi's cousin!), and later, Na Nhi, Tung, and Diana (my friend) came later...

We had fun waiting for JAM to begin. There was a girl trying to pet a scared dog outside, trying to call the dog closer to her. And then Theresa went all crazy over Son and another girl (Anna???), who took her phone (to talk to her friend), and she ran into the room they were hiding in, and started screaming. *bursts out laughing* She also chased around a guy in the cold just to touch his abs, I think.

When you see Theresa like that, it's no wonder how her and Thi are related. *laughs*

The guy's name, at first I thought, was Tri. But then he said it was Chris Lee. (Was he kidding??? I dunno.)

And...Quang's a DJ??? (I was listening to the songs before the JAM started, and they were techno-like songs, mixed by Quang himself...) Huh...

It was fun! We sang a ton of songs, and then we played a game where we had to guess what we were... (They stuck a piece of paper on our back with a word and we had to tell the person what they were...without telling the person what they were using the words on the paper.)

Na Nhi was "a seed". So I said:

"I'm gonna kill you, bury you, then drown you, and leave you in the sun to burn!"

Na Nhi: "I'm so sad! I think I'm gonna cry!"

Oh yeah...when we were getting our tags, Na Nhi and I acted like we were being interrogated...and frisked. *laughs*

Then we went on a scavenger hunt for clues around the church! It was fun! But I gotta tell you...the church is CREEPY at night. Especially when you're walking around a church...with no one around you. (Now I know what the "Scooby Doo" characters feel like.)

Mimi and I were the ones that look around especially... We even went outside, where my mom saw me, and honked the horn. Mimi jumped up, hid behind the door, and said, "Who's that?!"

Me: *looks* "Oh, that's just my mom."

She thought she witnessed something like a murder... (Because it's all quiet, and then you hear a car horn.)

After that, we went inside and started praying. One of the TAs started telling a story about how we are so lucky to be in this country, with other people in poor countries not having or not being able to do what we do daily.

And after we prayed, we started singing songs, and I turn, and I hear a girl sobbing. After the song went on, I saw that a bunch of girls were starting to sob.

In our church, usually when someone starts crying, they finally understanding what the love of God actually means. But this was my first time witnessing it... They were all Confirmation I students, new to this, and so...I guess they never took their religion as deeply as they should until now...

I turn to my right, and see Theresa crying...a soft, quiet cry... And I also saw the girl that was playing with the dog crying, real hard.

And before the JAM was over, all the girls that cried had already left.

Awww...my mom picked me up, and I went home, showered, and talked online.

I started talking to Thi, and I found out that Thi knew about the incident that happened at church. But she didn't know the details and wanted me to explain.

Today

AGHH... I went to the bus stop, and I was freezing as heck! (Temperature was 45 degrees...) I had a sweater, but it didn't keep me warm. WAH. By the time I got to school, I got a runny nose. UGH.

In P.E., I just listened to music...

DGaA - Our teacher wasn't there, so we got work...except we did that work already, so we had nothing to do that period! We just talked amongst ourselves. Ah, our sub was Mrs. Jones, who I found out was my Geometry teacher's mom! (But my Geometry teacher doesn't really...like her mom. And makes her take medication...or something like that.)

I talked to Geraldine about Thanksgiving, and she said she and her family are going to Lauren's grandparent's house for Thanksgiving. (Her family doesn't cook.) And then she describes the food that she likes to eat. (Gah, I got hungry...)

I also got to know how Mrs. Thompson got interested in sign language! When she was younger, she had a Deaf neighbor girl, and she would always go to play with her. At first, she learned her ABCs, and would fingerspell to her. Her dad was a preacher, and there was a translator there each Sunday, and she would look and stare, and say, "WOW, that is so AWESOME!" She'd always be signing words when no one was looking (I do the same!), and in high school, she realized that's what she wanted to do.

Then we got into conversation into colleges. Geraldine either wants to go to CSUN or Gallaudet. She can't decide. So she's deciding to cut herself in half, and one part goes to each school. *laughs*

In Lunch, I sat with Miriam, and I got to meet her friends, Derrick and Mat. Ah, it was fun meeting them. I got to translate what they were saying, and Mat was interested because I knew how to sign...and I had only been learning for a month! *laughs*

Shoaib kinda looked a bit...ugh at them. (Whenever someone speaks around him, and he doesn't understand, he'll get angry. Aww...)

In Geometry today, we played Jeopardy, and I was with Tina! At first, we only had 100 points, but from a Double Jeopardy question, we gained 1000 in the end! (Thus, making 1100!) So, for our test, we get 11 bonus points. (YIPPEE!)

So outside to talk! Oy! Shoaib's bus was late again...and they taught me how to sign "when" correctly! (And I had been doing it wrong all this time!) And I think they signed the word for "hump" (yes, you think pervertedly...because that's what it means...), but I pretended not to understand. *sweats*

After that, I went to the club, where I tried to finish my essay, but was interrupted by Nestor trying to find music, then Mariah playing a shoot game, and then people take turns on my computer account playing online games. (GAHH!!!!!!!)

I never did finish it... And it's already a few days late. AW SHOOT. *shakes head*

We went to Uncyclopedia to look up weird definitions... *laughs*

After that, Aaron, Alvin, Mariah, Matthew, and I went to go eat. Cheese popcorn (me), soda (me), candy (me, but everyone took), hot dogs (not me)... (Man, we're such pigs! *laughs*) But everyone took my candy...

On the ride home, I spent time talking to Dominique and Aaron...cards, love, and plus with Akhil, we kept trying to see auras and read minds.

Then after I got home, I ate...and now, I'm here.

I was just talking to Alaina, Vu, and Shoaib left early. So did Alex. And Awi. And now I'm talking to Shanna.

I'll see you guys later!
