Four Committees?! The Heck?!

<bgsound src="http://prophecymoon.tripod.com/cab.mp3" volume=100 loop=1 autostart=false>

Start: 11:10 PM CST

Okay guys! I finished my Computer Science project, and I am SO tired... I want to sleep, but I can't. I gotta type this up first.

Oh yeah! I forgot to mention: Last time in Computer Science, I was walking up to Safir's computer and before I got there, he IMMEDIATELY closed it. I kept asking him what the website was, but he didn't tell me.

Also that day in Lunch, I asked Julio and Victoria if they were related. She replied, "Yes, we're related...", whispers into Julio's ear, then replies, "...in Christ! Yes! We're all brothers and sisters in Christ!"

Argh! I hate it when people use that against me!

Oh yeah. One note: NEVER agree to anything that you don't know about. I went to the Anime Club today, in only one committee, and I came out being in four committes, with me creating a committee myself (the Cosplay Committee)!! Oh, the horror!!!

I promised Amy that I would be on the Library (for manga) Committee!!! Argh!!!

Then I already joined Website Committee (I update it and do graphics, etc.), and the Art Committee (for drawings; we're having a gallery in December).

Geraldine finally made it to the Anime Club! Ms. Ham was her translator, and although it was awkward at first, everyone got to get to know her! She left pretty early though...

Me? What did I do? I was in the back, talking with Francisco, Hilda, and Julio. I hugged Julio with one arm, pinched his cheek, exclaimed, "YOU'RE SO ADORABLE!!!" and walked off. The next moment later, I saw him with his face in his arms on the table, as if he were about to cry. I thought I had scared him with the hug for a second! (He's very strict on his Christian religion, I assumed.)

Well, no. Turns out, one of his best friends turned against him. Lots of us tried to help him out, and I even threatened him with a hug! But, by the end of the day, I think he started to feel better.

It's funny though: After hugging Julio once and walking away, I overheard him asking Hilda, "Why does he keep hugging everyone?" She replies, "It's just the way that Travis is," shrugs, then smiles.

We turned Aaron "gay" today! Bwahaha!!! It was funny! Aaron was going on about how he didn't like hugs, and so me, Jonathan (the Hispanic one), and Raul were gonna give him a hug at once! I guess he suspected our plans though, but we eventually caught him and gave him a giant group hug. He said he felt gay in that hug, but since Mariah was there, it all balanced out. (The hug was supposed to make him happy, not freak him out. Shoot.)

On the bus, I chatted a lot with Anita and Akhil. It was my first long conversation with Anita in a LONG time. Also, Akhil finds me and Anita dead, and Shikhar kept on making "panda" jokes about Akhil. (It's an inside joke thing...)

When I got home, I started working on my project, and now, here I am, typing up this post. I'm tired...

Oh, I forgot to tell you about the rest of my day! Errrr... "Susan" didn't leave the class because of ME! ME! Yay!!! I think he loves me... *laughs* I kid. He told me that he stayed in the class for me (with Jocelyn smiling like crazy at that thought), but the truth of the matter was, he couldn't get into Physics class. It's a shame though...

Biology: I didn't see Sheena for the entire period. When I went into the hallway, I saw James, and he assumed that Sheena had her back problems, more headache problems, or that someone had passed away in the family.

Multimedia: Turns out, all of them were wrong! Sheena just went to get her blood checked, I think. We had to build a car in Flash. Yay.

Oh, and Domonique finally apologized to me for beating me up with an umbrella because I sang a "Super Mario Bros." song while he was playing Mario Tetris. Yay!

I think that's it. I'm heading to sleep. Good night all!

Oh, I forgot! My last year and current year English teachers are teachers for the South Asian Club at our school! Akhil and me were there before we headed back to Robotics, but it was so full of...south Asians!!! (My English teacher is thinking about my idea to teach some Indian languages in the club. Yay!)

I called Alaina in the Anime Club. I actually wanted to call her at 11 AM, but I was still at school. Why would I want to call her then? Well, my old town (where Alaina still lives) got hit by Hurricane Humberto. Right now, she has no water, no electricity, and the electricity isn't supposed to come back on until Tuesday, which is in five more days. Oh my gosh, I hope she'll be okay...

My English teacher saw me clinging a lot around Raul. I think she's starting to get suspicious...

I have to plan a class for the Cosplay Committee... Also, the famous JAC Productions is our rival now. If you don't know who they are, look them up on YouTube!

Hilda and Alvin were doing Homecoming-related stuff today. Hilda was making her posters, and in Anime Club, Alvin is our Beau. Well...Aaron is confused and doesn't know who to vote for. Bwahaha.

End: 11:29 PM CST

Edit: Oh yeah! Before Biology, I was talking with George, and then, a Hispanic girl looked at me, extended her hand, and said in a happy voice, "Hi, I'm Marie!" We shook hands, and then another girl dragged her back into the classroom and they started giggling... How weird...

My Friend's Group Is Turning Gay!!!

<bgsound src="http://prophecymoon.tripod.com/cab.mp3" volume=100 loop=1 autostart=false>
Enya
Caribbean Blue

Start: 6:47 PM CST

Oh my gosh, my entire friend's group is turning gay! It's really kind of funny too, since it's so great to see everyone's reactions. The guy's in my group are a LOT more open now, but it freaks the other people around us, especially the ones that don't understand.

Let's see...

I think it was on Monday, and while we were in the lunch line, Raul and Josh put their arms around each other and started talking about how they were each other's sex partners. Julio was talking about how and Victoria were the only two girls in the group, and I started to hit on him, starting the, oh-so-ever clichéd line, "So... Do you come here often?" and leaning on the wall, trying to put my arm around him. Bwahaha.

Today, I was hugging Raul, and while Nick was in front of us, he said, "Grab his ass!" We both let go of each other quickly and stared at him in this weird disbelief. I'm starting to suspect him... Especially since last year, when we were in the library, and he said that he thought Sasuke was beautiful... Hmmmmmm...

Two girls came over to me and Raul while we were talking (right after we hugged), and it was a girl from my bus, and Mida! That first girl said, "You guys are HOT." I kind of backed away, since she was staring at us (me and Raul) while saying that... Oyyyy...

One last hug with Raul before I went off to class: I noticed Kaether standing approximately behind us, kind of shaking his head a bit, with that "Tsk, tsk," face. (Strange...)

Julio's gonna get used to my hugs, and he's going to like it. Bwahaha.

Okay... Enough of my gay moments! Let's start with Monday...

On Monday, my allergies were acting up! How come? Well, I have a large closet, compared to most people, and sometimes, there'll be clothes that I don't wear for many months. Well, I pulled out a shirt that I hadn't worn in months and decided to put it on! I just never realized that it was covered with dust. And guess what? I'm allergic to dust! I was sniffly during Spanish for Native Speakers, with the teacher asking "¿Está enfermo?" and me replying that I had allergies, mispronouncing the word for "allergy" into alérias... (Note: The actual word for it is alegrias.)

We went to go get our books, and I noticed that we didn't get the books scanned for some reason. I asked the teacher, but he said we didn't need to do it. (Today, I realized that it was only going to be a class set.)

While I was holding five of the textbooks (along with some other students), Ms. Jenkins passed by me, saying "¡Hola!" She noticed I was holding a pack of Spanish for Native Speakers textbooks, blinked, and walked away. It's really funny too: Last year, she REALLY doubted my Spanish skills. She must be surprised to see me in that class. *laughs*

Later that day, in lunch (the same one with me "hitting" on Julio), I found out the guy that sits behind me in Spanish for Native Speakers (and who I ask for help) is Brittany's boyfriend! OH MY GOSH! On the first week of school, she was pointing to a guy in a crowd across the cafeteria and telling me that it was her boyfriend. I just never realized it was HIM! I basically went crazy in the line right there. Bwahaha.

In Computer Science: I had to teach Aldo and Puji how to use the Command Prompt. Oy... After that, I think we went to go get our textbooks. Yay! (I also used my locker for the first time, finding an Algebra book that seemed to be lost.)

I cut my hair later that day: It was bothering me too much. Now, it's a tad too short. But whatever. It'll grow out soon, right?

The next day, I walked with Raul to class. I kept asking him for hugs (everyone's hug-addicted this year), but he wouldn't give it to me in the middle of a hallway. Weird...

We had a Socratic seminar in class today, and we discussed two short stories. I was basically a leader, and I had to observe everyone, but I jumped into the conversation every now and then.

After class, I tried to run to my locker, get my lost book, and return it, only to be caught by the bell. But my teacher didn't care: I had Study Hall! I talked more and more with Jocelyn and "Susan". Well, "Susan" is "gay", and loves Benny, and Jocelyn goes on about me cutting my hair, and that if I grew it out longer, that "Susan" would love me more...

Oh yeah. He left mid-class to go get his class changed. If only he stayed with us... Awww...

He has copper hair. Stress. Bwahaha.

Biology: I finally see Sheena...after lunch! She was sick on Friday, so she missed us experimenting on the worms.

Multimedia: The teacher wasn't there. Me and Sheena were studying Japanese. The Internet went off for a while. Domonique tried to kill me with an umbrella (and he's still trying!) because I was singing one of the original Mario songs while he was playing Mario Tetris online.

After that, I headed to the Robotics Club. We went over some rules, and some people are heading off to the Kick-Off next...Saturday, I believe.

I met a new girl: Madison. She's very quiet (for now), but she seems very interested in Robotics and Engineering, and she's pretty good at it! For demonstration, she did at least 1/3 of it (and she's never been in the club beforehand!)!

For some reason, she reminds me of Alaina (from P.A.)... Ah, the memories.

Remember from Danny from the Guitar Club? Well, all that time in Robotics, he kept coming up to me and saying, "What's up?" for no apparent reason. I laughed and walked off, thinking it was a tad silly. However, he did it two or three times while I was in front of Janice.

Well, he started acting weird the moment I told him that I was "married" to Nam (another guy)... He was surprised at first, but replied, "That's awesome." Ever since then, he's been trying to hang out with me a lot.

I took a ride home with Nam, along with Chi, Janice, me, and Aaron cramped into the back of a car. We were talking about Homecoming, and how Chi was going to the dance with Janice. Janice noted that the "kid" (Danny) in class seemed to REALLY like me. Then Aaron made another note that I should go out with him, or at least go to the Homecoming Dance and dance with myself, to make the other boys jealous (the heck...?). Bwahaha, it was really fun.

Today: I had a Spanish for Native Speakers test! But I didn't study!!! Oh gosh, I should've really studied because I didn't know 1/4 of the test! At least I'll pass, right? I was the second or third last person to finish, and even so, I couldn't finish the written part of the test!!! GRR!!! The teacher only talks with me in English now, which REALLY sucks, because I want him to use Spanish with me. Doing that, I could understand him more better. I really do understand everyone more better! I get MOST of the jokes, and it's really fun being somewhat part of the class! And the people in the class are actually starting to accept me more, even though a lot of them still doubt my Spanish skills. Hah.

My teacher gave me the Spanish textbook on CD. We don't have textbooks this year. That's a shame...

In Algebra II, I finished my test, with only getting, maybe, one or two wrong. In History, I managed to get a lot of work done (after my two tests), but I noticed the teacher likes to stand around me while I work, and me alone... Then again, I'm in the front of the class, so it's normal, right?

I finished almost all of my homework, and I just finished the rest! All I have to do is finish my Computer Science project (mine is on the history of Windows), along with my History homework, and I'm done! Yeah!!!

On the bus, we kept talking about random stuff... Domonique still wanted to kill me with an umbrella, someone sprayed Axe (or Lynx for you British people; the smell's disgusting!) in the bus and we got in trouble for it... We also started talking about sexual diseases and sex ed. It was weirdddd... It made my skin crawl.

Domonique mentioned that me and Janice would make a great couple. Well, I told him that I wasn't like that, and Janice wasn't like that. To elaborate, I told him that Janice was going with a girl to Homecoming, and that I was going with a guy to Homecoming. He said, "EWWW! You're SICK!" I'm not sure what that meant, but I told him that I was kidding: He didn't believe that I WASN'T gay though; I told everyone that I had a husband (it's that "family game"), and that's what I get. *laughs*

Other information:

Hilda might sing with me for the Guitar Club. We're doing "Consuming Fire" by Hillsong, a Christian song, since I know Hilda can't do anything BUT Christian songs.

Aaron wants me to play "Stevie Boy" for the concert. The electric part, even though he knows that I don't have an electric guitar.

On Monday, I turned back on the bus to see if Anita was on the bus. I managed to catch eyes with Kai, and he turned to the window to look outside. However, when I was looking through the bus window, I could see him smiling. I told the guys in the car Tuesday afternoon, and Kai and Chi said, "You should go out with Kai!!!" Well, guess what? Chi had to butt in and ask Kai if he wanted to go to the Homecoming Dance with me. He said "no". I was gonna kill her for asking him, so I asked Ashley, but she didn't want to kill Chi either! ARGH! Now he just looks at me with a blank face!!! WHY?!?!

Chi's also going to a volunteer place late in September (the 29th, I believe?). She told Kai that I was coming, and then he said that he would come. Suspicious, isn't it? Or is it just a coincidence?

I met the girl on the news today: She's friends with Raul, but he smiled WAY too much while doing the news report... She seems nice in "real life" though. ("Real life" sounds like a weird word for me...)

I'm done with this post for now. I hope I can come around soon. Until then, I say good-bye to all of you!!! Bye!

Volunteering!!!

<bgsound src="http://prophecymoon.tripod.com/cab.mp3" volume=100 loop=1 autostart=false>
Enya
Caribbean Blue

Start: 12:20 AM CST

Hello hello everyone! How's everyone been lately? I've been doing pretty good. I'm a little tired though, so I'll try to wrap this up and head to sleep, okay? Sorry if it goes longer than it should!

On Thursday, in Spanish class, Alex wasn't there! NOOO!!! But, I did get a chance to use my Spanish in class today. I'm a bit afraid that I said something wrong, but it's better to do something and do it wrong than to not to do it all, right?

I have History homework I should probably finish now... I'm too lazy to do anything though.

Note: I'm listening to "Rosa Pastel" by Belanova, and I just realized that it sounds like my two friends, Victoria and Hilda, singing. Oh wow.

In Computer Science, we watched "Pirates of Silicon Valley", which tells the story of how all these big chains of computers started. Lots of people were making jokes about the "Silicon Valley" part of the title; they thought it implied plastic surgery on your boobs.

After school, I headed over to the first Robotics Club meeting (except the leaders' meeting) with Bokju. I was so surprised at the number of students who were there! In my excitement, I was hopping up and down with Ashley, which, to many of the freshmen, looked gay. (Who cares? We have new students!!!)

Bokju put my hair in pigtails because we were both bored, but when people whipped out their cameras, I tried to make a break out the door, only to be dragged in. Nam saved me, however. Yay!

Oh yeah. Nam's my husband now, remember? People keep making jokes about us, saying, "Your supposed to stay committed, remember?" and silly jokes like that.

Catherine returned to Robotics!!! YEAH!!! After half a year of leaving the club for other clubs, she returns, and now, she's the Sweetheart for the Robotics Club! (Homecoming Dance, you see.) At least, before we didn't have a senior girl, Zach and Parul (two guys; Parul is already Beau) pretended to be a couple in front of the class. Bwahaha.

When Mr. Paske (I think that's how you spell it?) came into the classroom and started talking, I couldn't help but laugh at every word he said. It wasn't that I meant to be disrespect, but after jumping up and down like a rabbit on sugar (not dead!), and hearing Mr. Paske's wordings of his sentences, I couldn't help but laugh at everything that was happening. For gosh's sake, I was laughing at Stephanie sitting on the printer!

...I gotta stop eating too much before clubs start.

Well, I helped around, getting everyone to sign up their info (Danny joined us! His real name's Danilo though...), and while everyone was getting their safety procedures thingy done, I went over to the Anime Club!

Everyone was all excited, and Kathy had to explain what was happening. I signed up for the Website committee, so I'll be updating the website.

Oh, have you guys heard of the legendary JAC Productions group, known on YouTube? Well, guess what? They go to a school not too far from us! Yeah, it's true! They're now our rivals... Muahaha.....

Akhil, Janice, Aaron, Nam, Rishab, and I snuck out of the club to go play tennis. Akhil kept ball-hogging, and Nam kept aiming his ball towards Akhil only. Other than that, it was pretty fun.

Stupid machine stole Akhil's dollar. Plus, why'd I buy HOT bottled water after tennis?!

The next day, I was rushing on my English homework, only to learn that I didn't even need to finish it! Grr, how ironic.

In Study Hall, nothing much was happening. We talked about random stuff, I corrected Jocelyn's paper, and Susanth (a.k.a. "Susan") was in a trance...

Biology: We poured chemicals on worms! Not really. We used water, sugar water, and vinegar. Vinegar hurts worms, didjaknowthat? Oh, and Sheena wasn't there for some reason. It was weird because I had saw her the day before at Anime Club... Hmm...

Multimedia: We had no teacher! But it was SOO BORING! There was nothing to do! The Guitar Club's Beau took my computer, Domonique was looking at movie box office prices and looking for roles in movies and series that he could act in (he's in this special program for actors???), and Anju and Ash were watching online Flash greetings. Three guys somehow found a way to install Halo onto the computers, even though if a teacher catches you, you would be expelled. (That's why I taught them how to use Alt + F4!) Other than that, there was nothing to do.

Well...I didn't go to sleep until 1 AM that day, but I thought, "What's the use? I'll just wake up in two hours later..." Well, I was right: I woke up at 3:30 AM to get ready for volunteering! I thought I would have enough time to shower and change, but I was basically rushed. I think it was because I headed back to bed for a while and didn't even realize it. Hah.

Aaron was playing Pokemon while we were in Vy's car...

When we got there, we changed into the volunteer clothes (pretty cool, if I say so myself), and we split up and did our "chores"... I ran around the entire mall, trying to find the food court, when all the time, I never realized there was a shorter route. Oyyy...

Chi, Vy, and I folded T-shirts. A guy from a Katy ISD school came to help us, but we didn't associate too much with him. Aaron and Janice were on the other side of the mall, so when we were done, all three of us traveled to them and we basically wandered the mall until the race started.

So...what is this volunteer thing I'm talking about? Well, it's basically a race that takes place in this mall, and it's to raise money for multiple sclerosis. Yup.

We had breakfast (I had two giant bagels!), and after that, we did a bit more work, and after that, me, Aaron, and Vy headed home.

The minute that I got home, well... I plopped on my bed around 12:30 PM to take a rest and woke up at 7 in the evening. Oh my, I was tired. And it was really sad since I planned to do laundry and finish homework. Ugh.

The minute that I did wake up, however, I started watching the Naruto movie and eating sandwiches. I didn't even start laundry until 8:30, and I haven't even finished because I've been on this laptop since...9 PM???

Well, I must sleep. I'm tired. Good night all!

Ughhh... Labor Day and Such...

<bgsound src="http://prophecymoon.tripod.com/cab.mp3" volume=100 loop=1 autostart=false>
Enya
Caribbean Blue

Start: 9:17 PM CST

It's kind of too early for me to be posting right now, but it's better to do it now than to wait for later.

I'm pretty tired today. I really don't know why, but my eyes are a bit droopy... I want to sleep SO BADLY, but I can't. It sucks.

On Labor Day, what did I do? Well, here it is, like I said, in Spanish!

Note: I copied and pasted it from the document that I saved it in.

¡Hola! ¿Cómo estais? Está bien, ya.

Sí recordais en mi post previo, dice que hablaré español en mi post próximo. Pués...próximo es ahora.

No tengo nada hoy.

¡Gracias y buena noche!

Yes yes, I tried my hand at Spanish. Don't laugh, peoples! I feel too lazy to translate it, and it really doesn't say anything important.

Yesterday was pretty good. In Spanish for Native Speakers, we talked about Hurricane Felix and then we continued on about the culture of Latin America and Spain.

I learned a new word that day! Contrareloj. It means counterclockwise. (I hope I spelled it correctly.)

Alex kept on saying how Spanish was hard and how people would laugh at her. Hey, look at me: I'm the only non-Hispanic person in the class, and I constantly screw up in Spanish. I'm still in that class, right? Well, at the end of school, Alex told me that she transferred out of Spanish for Native Speakers. She's not taking at all anymore.

I'm really sad now... If only she stuck around, people would be gladly to help her, ya know?

In Algebra II, we went to get our books. I got to talk with Andreah' and Jordan at that time, so it was really cool.

Today, it was pretty quiet. We got our books in English, and in Study Hall, I just talked with Susanth, Jocelyn, and a bit with Rafael and Regina. Susanth wants to switch out to Physics, but he'll get moved out of our Study Hall. Wah.

In Multimedia, I talked with Sheena and signed with Geraldine. I got Sheena into American Sign Language! She also wants to learn Japanese Sign Language though...

Oh, and Geraldine's coming to the first anime club tomorrow. Yay!

What else am I up to?

Well, my mom bought new Dell warranty for my laptop on Tuesday! So, when all of that is verified, I'm going to send in my laptop so they could fix all the scratches on my computer. You see, overuse and overexposure to my sister has scarred my laptop pretty badly...

I should pick up some volunteer papers from the counselor so I could start, ya know, volunteering.

Oh, I have a History essay to do, an English essay to correct, and a rest of a book to annotate. Oh, the horrors!

Raul's leaving our lunch table to go hang out with the "emos" who sit in the corner by the auditorium. NOO!!! I also feel as if our relationship is slipping apart...

What else.....

Oh! Nam proposed to me! Today at lunch, he said, "Travis, I have a gift for you." He took out a ring, and said, "Travis, will you marry me?" I took the ring and put it on, but I'm not sure if I gave him a reply or not.

...He said that I was wearing glittery lip gloss last night too. (...What a weird dream!)

Raul got worried about me when I told him I was married to a guy... Bwahaha. He thought of that as me "coming out," and kept on telling me that he supported whatever lifestyle I chose. Then I told him that it was just a "game" and he hit me.

In Guitar Club, I practiced and practiced, but I just don't think I'm all that great compared to everyone else. Also, the Media teacher wants the Guitar Club to write a song and preserve it for the later generations. We have until April to get it done.

Yay! We get to write a song! Hmm... What should I write the song about?

Um, out of everyone in the club, there are two new kids: Danny and Paula. Danny's pretty good, with fast-tabbed songs such as flamenco, while Paula can play chord songs, like Victoria and I can.

Truth be told, however, everyone makes me feel a bit self-conscious.

Oh, and the next concert's in October. I have to pick a song and learn it by next Wednesday. However, I don't know what to play!!! ARGH!!!

On the ride home, it was pretty fun: We got to see Aaron's 8th grade pictures. Bwahaha.

Yeah, I think that's enough of my crazy life. I'll see you later. Now to do my homework! Bye!

First Week - Done!

<bgsound src="http://prophecymoon.tripod.com/cab.mp3" volume=100 loop=1 autostart=false>
Enya
Caribbean Blue

Start: 11:58 PM CST

Hola hola! My first week of school is OVER! Yeah!!! Let's dance! Well, you don't have to, but if you want, then sure!

On Wednesday, me, Sheena, Jacob, and Jabari were all in a group for Biology together, and we did a skit where a girl named Alice was stupid enough to drink hydrochloric acid. I swear, we kept laughing the ENTIRE period! However, when we did our skit, no one got it. (Does anyone understand what hydrochloric acid DOES to you?!)

Q: What would you do to help Alice?
Jacob: I'd help pay for her funeral! *bursts out laughing*

Huh. I remembered that I brought my guitar to school for Guitar Club! However, because of rain, all of the classes were shut down. I remember me and Lauren rushing downstairs to see if the Guitar Club was taking place. Sadly, it wasn't...or so we THOUGHT. Turns out, the club room had been changed. Goshdarnsit!

The next day (Wednesday)... Oh my GOD... Spanish for Native Speakers! The teacher asked everyone to describe a tradition of their culture or family in SPANISH! Oh... I failed so BADLY. I kept stuttering, and there was a point where I just stopped talking at all. Shortly after that, one girl snapped in my face while walking past me, and my friend's friend asked, "Why are you even in this class?" Needlessly to say, I walked around the school depressed for quite a while...

Debo hacer algo mejorar mi español...

Well, the only nice people that I've met in the class is a girl that's half Spaniard, half French. She lived in Madrid, as far as I know.

In Algebra II, I was lost... VERY lost.

And...in History, I made it seem like I was so smart in the class, so the teacher gave me double the work (NOOO!!!), and guess what? I so happened to make a 40 because I forgot to do vocabulary!!!

Computer Science... Hmm... It was Fola's birthday! I gave her a dollar (Puji says I gave her $5???), and I got a brownie and chips! Yay!

Next day... Friday? Well, in English, everyone has 20 journals to do. And...I was supposed to annotate the first five chapters from The Lord of the Flies (that's about 80 pages!), but I fell asleep and only managed to finish at least 50... I'm sad.

In Study Hall, I got to talk with Jocelyn and Susanth! We played B.C. with two students that I've never seen before (I assumed that they were freshmen, but they say they're sophomores... Huh...).

Oh yeah! I found out Miriam moved to Dubai! The heck?! She went to school the first two days, and then, after that, she goes on AIM and tells everyone, "Bye guys. I'm moving to Dubai."?!?! WHAT?!?!

In Biology, we did a measuring experiment, and I "failed" my first test because I didn't bother to read my test over. (Everyone had to make a 100; I made a 98.)

In the transition between Biology and Multimedia, I ran quickly to my History teacher, got my grade bumped up from a 40 to an 85, and quickly ran towards Multimedia class.

In Multimedia, they transferred Jocelyn and Lauren out!!! NOOO!!! So, it's up to Dante and me (especially Dante) to help that new girl in Multimedia.

Oh, and Geraldine's in my class now! I signed to her, but messed up on it, and the translator kept giving me weird looks when I was signing (oh gosh, it's not THAT bad, is it?!).

I think that's it...

Now for an overlook of school!

I've been getting a lot of hugs from Raul lately! However, some people will look at us weird. Especially this one woman (teacher) in one of the Science hallways who gave us a mean/weird glance.

I've been getting more homework, but I've been less procrastinating...except for this weekend. BLARGH!!!

Janice got me addicted to DBSK! I like their song, Rising Sun. My sister, however, keeps telling me that they're a gay (literally, as in "boy loves boy") band... Oy.

In my lunches, no one could find each other! They shut down the patio because students have been skipping and drug dealers have been coming around, so yeah. No outside this year.

But...in return, it makes the commons VERY crowded, to the point where there aren't even eough seats for everyone! Some of us (my friends and I) had to share the same seats!

Akhil and Nam traded bodies. Well, minds anyways. Akhil's acting like Nam this year (more procrastinate-like), while Nam is acting like Akhil this year (he's ACTUALLY doing his work!). Oh, the horror!!! *runs around screaming*

This weekend, now... On Saturday, I went to go return my clothes. You see, a week or two ago, my entire family went clothes shopping. However, my dad continued on rushing us out of the store. It was really annoying, and I never got to try on some of the clothes! Well, guess what? To make the situation worse, they didn't fit! So off we went, to return the clothes!

I went to go pick out some new clothes, and I learned: Most of the clothes that nowaday stores sells? They're UGLY. I mean, all of the clothes either have stupid sayings on them, they're too small or too big, or they looked as if someone ran them over with a steamroller, trampled over by a bunch of football players' cleats, and used to clean off the sweat from those same football players!

Can't I find any nice clean-cut clothes anymore?!?! Argh! I want to learn how to sew!!!

After that, we went to a restaurant to eat some Vietnamese pho. It used to be a Chinese restaurant before, but they sold the place and it got changed. However, it was really funny because they used the same tables as the last restaurant, and those tables had the logo from before. Bwahaha!!!

The waiter seemed gay. I mean, he talked Vietnamese...with a lisp!

My mom couldn't eat the pho because she said it was too hot. She asked if they could bring in a bowl of hot soup so she could transfer it into their pho. As we were eating, I heard the workers in the back talk. This is a small transcript of what they said:

"Gay" Waiter: I can't believe she said our food wasn't good!
Girl: Everyone says that our food was delicious!
"Gay" Waiter: Not true. There was that one woman in the morning that said that the pho was too salty. First she complains, but then that fat pig gobbles it up all anyways. (Sounds much more rude in Vietnamese, but this is the only way I can translate it.)

Then I noticed that after my mom made that comment about the pho not being hot enough, our waiter started treating us like shit and being rude.

...How mean.

Vietnamese people can't take criticism. Try to put in some criticism, or tell them that they're doing something wrong, and they'll get angry and snap back at you. Ugh.

Anyways, we went grocery shopping later. We bought beef jerky!

When we got home, and after putting up the groceries, my mom took out some apple wine, poured me, my sister, and herself a glass, and we drank it all down while eating beef jerky. Well...actually...I finished my sister's drink for her. (I'm gonna be SUCH an alcoholic later on...)

Then, my sister and I quickly got on our bikes and went to go play tennis with Nickkie, Sue, Tomas, and Alex. Fun, ja.

Today, on Sunday, my family and I went to church. After that, we went to go eat CiCi's Pizza, did more shopping, then we returned my brother's pants. More grocery shopping, and we headed home.

Oh, I went to go play tennis again with Sue, Tomas, Alex, Janice, and Janice's parents.

A Vietnamese family happened to walk past the tennis courts, and they were mumbling something (in Vietnamese) about playing tennis was stupid because it made you all hot and sweaty.

This, my friends, is why people are awkward when they're around people who don't speak the same language. You never know what they are saying about you. However, even though some people are nice and are not like that, you just never know.

I went home a bit later, and I'm here now. I've been trying to learn more and more Spanish, and my attempts have been better! I read the Spanish dictionary and I watched some Spanish news and movies, and I learned some new words!

Hierramiento = Tool (the metal kind)
Polvo = Dust
Amenaza = Threat
Huracán = Hurricane
Fútil = Futile
Manecilla = Hand (of a clock)*

*A funny mnemonic that I've come up with is by comparing the words mantequilla (butter) and manecilla (hand of a clock). Bwahaha.

If I keep this up, maybe I can understand what my teacher is talking about in class. I just need to learn at least ten new vocabulary words a day.

I also talk to myself in Spanish now, but that's only so I can improve my Spanish.

...Maybe my next post will be in Spanish. I should do that. Yeah.

Bye!

Edit: I can also roll my Spanish "rr" now! And, on Saturday's tennis game, I found out Alex can roll her "rr" sound too! But she can't speak Spanish. Grr.

On Sunday's game, I tried to get Nam to play with us, but his dad said that he had been up all night and he was sleeping. (I also heard a lot of bolts opening and unlocking while waiting for the door to open...)

First Day of School and Such!

<bgsound src="http://prophecymoon.tripod.com/cab.mp3" volume=100 loop=1 autostart=false>
Enya
Caribbean Blue

Start: 11:02 PM CSTM

Hallo-hallo everyone! What's up?! School's started for me, but I haven't updated in about...four or five days? Oh gosh, I'm dumping more stuff on you guys to read!!!

On Friday, I went with Alex, and we biked all the way to Burger King! We ate, but it was really empty without Diana, who was at home because she wanted to play MapleStory on my laptop all day. Grr... (She broke the tradition!!!)

We biked over to the Dollar Store, where Alex got a present for her friend, and me, buying some candy (Crayola makes jellybeans?!).

Next stop: Sue's. Alessandra got back from Venezuela! So me and Alex, plus Alessandra and Sue, were talking about our Halloween party plans.

...And only one day to go.

Saturday: I went biking to the tennis courts around 10 AM. We were IDIOTS!!! What kind of people play tennis before noon?!?! Janice, her dad, Tomas, Alex, and Sue were there. We only played tennis for a short while, then suffered heat stroke, and ran to the shelter of the nearby school, sleeping on the concrete.

We did silly random stuff, like roll tennis balls to each other, and practice our AIM. Oh, and I think Sue fell in love with a dragonfly.

Diana went to Anh Nhi's birthday party that day. When she got home, she kept on talking about how she wanted to eat more food from there. Hahaha.

Sunday: After church, we went to the temple to celebrate a Buddhist holiday: It's the day when your honor the people that passed away! In Japan, I happen to know for a fact that it's called Bon. In Vietnamese, it's ____ Bu Lan (I forgot the entire thing!). You wear red chrysanthemum pins if your parents are still alive, but white if your parents have passed away.

Well, we only stayed for a bit, but that was because Mom was still recovering from surgery, and Ricky and Diana kept complaining about how hot it was.

Then, we went to eat Chinese food! It was funny: Hardly anyone was there. It was a Buddhist holiday, of course, so you're not supposed to eat meat. Thus, no Chinese people (which usually make up the population of the restaurant!).

Hmmm... That entire night, I remember doing laundry and get ready...but yet, not being ready.

Oh yeah. One new pair of pants and two new shirts of mine don't fit! You see, when we last went clothes shopping, my dad basically rushed me out of the store, not letting me try on any of the clothes. My mom says, "This is why you never bring a man shopping." Something to that effect. *laughs*

Monday: Oh, the big, big day! I got to see everyone, and no one had changed! I looked at all the freshmen, who were surprising, all wearing white shirts that said "Abercrombie & Fitch" or "Hollister" on them... That's funny.

I sat with Janice and Aaron with Kathy! We all had the bus together!!! YAY!!!

However, it wasn't until later that I found out that I was separated from our old busmates (Nam, Shikhar, Rishab!!!!)...

Let me see... English: I had Chris in there! I basically hit him for sending me a link to a video that almost gave me a seizure. Dummy... ("Desu desu desu!!!" The heck?!?!)

The rest of the day was pretty good. I had lunch with Nam, Akhil, Aaron, Sheena, and a bunch of other people! But the new people! They took our old table!!! GRR!!!

Sheena and me are in the same Biology class! We spent the time talking or writing to each other in Japanese (actually, mostly Sheena, hah). Our Biology teacher is Taiwanese, and she knows a bit of Japanese! Whoo!

And our last class...Multimedia. OH MY GOSH! DOMINIQUE AND LAUREN ATTACKED ME!!! I was walking in, and they started screaming, "TRAVIS!!!", rushed up to me to hug me, yet they somehow knocked their heads together. Oh, that was funny as heck.

It was my first loudest class today: Why? Well, it was an academy class, and basically, EVERYONE knew each other. Ahhh, so great.

Oh yes, yes. I had English homework on the first day of school... And...I failed my first quiz. (Wah.)

Second day wasn't so bad! I figured that we'd always be late to school now... It won't give me a chance to talk to the Deaf students. Vu signed that he's going to move to Austin, possibly in a month. It's really sad too...

Spanish for Native Speakers class... OH MY GOSH!!! I freaked out!!! I mean, I was the ONLY Asian person (heck, non-Hispanic!) in there! When I walked towards the teacher, asking where my class was, he was surprised, and asked in Spanish, "Do you speak Spanish?" and "Where are your parents from?" I replied to him in Spanish, with "Si." and "Mi madre es 'Chinese', y mi padre es 'Vietnamese'." (I don't know the Spanish words for those countries!!!)

So I came in, and sat, feeling a bit awkward. I knew Alex (Bokju's friend, not the Burger King one!), but she sat at the other corner of the room.

I was so scared that I was not gonna understand the teacher, but I understood almost everything! Even down to the jokes of where he was making fun of the other Spanish class (Spanish I, II, and III), for learning simple things like numbers, "rojo, amarillo," and all that stuff! I bursted out laughing.

However, I got really afraid when he asked everyone to introduce themselves in Spanish. (Remember that I'm the only non-Hispanic person in a room full of Spanish native speakers.) I got awkward, and asked, "What am I supposed to say again?" in English, forgetting that he already said that we could ONLY speak in Spanish... (Eep!)

However, the people in the class are really nice! I thought they would laugh at my horrible Spanish, but they were really supportive (one girl even clapped her hands, hah).

My writing is MUCH more better though. We basically had to take a small quiz in Spanish about where we were from, how we learned Spanish, along with an essay, and two guys were admiring how I was able to write so fluently in Spanish...

I think I did pretty good. I still kept thinking though, "What the heck does 'contestar' mean?!" I later asked Victoria, and she said it means "to answer" in Spanish.

I think I like the class, but...

I'm still scared like heck.

History class was interesting. I got lost trying to find it, and I managed to rip up a part of my rolling backpack! (That's what I get for dragging it around!)

The teacher was telling us stories, and he told us that his mom was a supporter of the KKK, and how he was trying to make his mom more tolerant. It was...awkwardddd...

Lunch: Yay! I finally found Raul! Yeah!!! However, he scares me now. Last year, I was always the one to hug him, and he would at least cringe a little. Now he's hug-crazy. (Oh no! I've turned Raul gay!!!)

I sat with Victoria, Aaron, Raul, Hilda, Stephanie, and Jessica today.

I also found Bokju today! I forgot when though...

I found out my Computer Science teacher is from my same hometown! Yeah! Funny how I was sitting next to her son. He tried to hide it at first, but then let the entire class know. Bwahaha.

Humza, Danish, Safir, Fola, and Puja (or Puji, in my case!) are all in my class. Fola seemed really tired though.

I annoy people... I can tell you that. (I bet you're annoyed with this post!)

The bus ride was pretty interesting... Aaron said I had been possessed by a "gay, Spanish-speaking demon"... Oh, that was FUNNY. *bursts out laughing*

Why he called me that: In Spanish for Native Speakers class, I tried to pronounce the word "mejorar" (to improve), but it came out wrong. So, I've been trying to fix it all day. It's like a tongue twister to me.

I just went to Wal-Mart to get some more supplies, but the entire store was CROWDED!!! ARGHGHGHGH!!!! It was filled like heck!!!

Walgreens was less crowded, but the prices were higher. Arghhh.

I saw Felix in Wal-Mart and Rezuan in Walgreens. Yay.

Okay... What other notes...

I finally saw Jing-yee, on the first day of school! She's a sophomore, who just transferred from Bush! Every time we see each other, we point at each other, lean a bit back, and annunciate, "YOU!!!!" It's really funny, but kind of scary.

On the first day, I was waiting for Aaron to get off the bus, and when he did, I hit him. Some of the freshmen thought we were being gay together. (The hell?!)

One of the freshman that thought I was gay tried hitting on me. (Oh wow.)

Now, why did I hit Aaron? Well, on the day before school started, he told me that we would be on the same bus as Kathy and Janice, and Kathy wanted to keep that a secret. To atone for his sins, Kathy allowed me to hit Aaron. I did it once, but it didn't work, so I tried it again, after school.

On the second day of school, I was asking Leticia for directions to a certain outside shack (they're all new!). As I was walking, one of Leticia's friends asked who I was, and then asked if I wanted her to walk with me to my class. (Strange...)

It's been really fun, but things are just getting harder and harder.

Sorry for the long post! Bye!

Tennis With Mohit!

<bgsound src="http://prophecymoon.tripod.com/cab.mp3" volume=100 loop=1 autostart=false>
Enya
Caribbean Blue

Start: 12:17 PM CST

Hey everyone! Nice to see you all again! I'm glad you enjoyed the pictures!

However... Vanessa, how did you guess I was Tonks?! Was it the pink hair, or have I told you before??? Not sure...

Anyways... Yesterday, I finally went to sleep early! School starts next Monday, so my mom was trying to train me not to sleep so late at night and to sleep early! However, my sleeping schedule's been screwed to the point where I can't fall asleep until...3 PM? (I mean, I'll get into bed around 11 PM, but I can't relax, and I tend to twist around too much...)

So, what's happening with me?

Well...... My cousin from Mexico is coming to visit us soon! I know, I know! You're probably thinking, "Travis!!! I thought you were Asian!" Yes, well... I just found out about it today too...

I kid, I kid! It's actually my mom's long-lost friend back from 30 years ago! They somehow got back into contact, and he's coming to visit with his wife and daughter!

They're actually a Chinese family that lives in Mexico... It seems a bit weird to me, but hey, what do I know?

And...this would be an AWESOME time to practice my Spanish! I can't practice my Chinese, because they're Teochew, and...I don't know Teochew. *laughs*

Risa's heading back to Austin tomorrow! Everyone's school is beginning to start again, and O-Risa-Mommy-san has to head back to university again... I'm not gonna see her until Christmas... *sniffs*

Awi is starting college, but we won't see a lot of each other anymore. (Dammit, and we promised that we'd bake each other brownies!!!)

In other news...

I tried to cook curry with apples today. A very WEIRD try, but I sort of liked it! It was spicy, yet sweet at the same time. I've always wanted to try new experimentations of putting different foods together! So today, I tried doing apples and curry. Apples have the same texture as potatoes, but a slightly sweeeter taste. *nods*

Also, I went to go play tennis with Mohit today! It was kind of...out-of-the-blue, shall we say? We had planned on going swimming, but yesterday, Mohit said that the pool closed two weeks ago! Well...guess our surprise when we saw little kids swimming in the pool. (Darnit Mohit, darnnnn you!!!!!)

He made me bike around his entire neighborhood, trying to find him. I ALMOST managed to sneak up on him...but he saw me before I tried to take out my tennis racket and beat him up relentlessly with him. (I kid!)

As we were walking to Bush, Mohit was talking about his new phone! (Yeah, he got a new one!) He said he liked the feel of the phone sliding up and down his pocket as he was walking... I just replied, "You're weird..." (How was I supposed to take that again?)

And so... We finally got to the tennis courts. Band was having its practice, so we got to hear band music while we played.

I got tired fast during playing, and then he started making fun of me of me calling him "unhealthy"... Grr...

A Nigerian man, who was coming to pick up his daughter (I think) asked to borrow my phone, and in return, he showed us how to play correctly. He was a pretty nice man: You don't see people like him walking around anymore. *is sad*

And guess who I found on the other court? Andrew and his dad! It was weird seeing him again... And very awkward... (If you knew me two years back, you would remember the scary psychic guy I was telling you about...)

So, around 5 PM, me and Mohit went home...

When we were walking home, I made a note that I was starting to tan. Mohit said, "Good!" Then he said something like, "Hey, I'll trade skin pigments with you... I can't believe those people who want to be tan! I want to be white!"

In this short little rant, it kind of shocked me that he was ashamed of the color of skin he was... (He's Indian...) I mean, he's not ashamed, but it's weird how so many people grew up thinking that being white was beautiful. I mean, yeah, sure some white people are good-looking, but the fact of wanting to be a different skin color and not yourself kind of bothers me...

Hmm... I'm sure it's nothing too big. But it bothers me... I was watching this thing about interracial dating online yesterday, and it brought up gay people as well. There was this Asian gay guy that was talking about he loved dating white guys... It wasn't until one of his professors asked him why he hated his own race did he start to question it...

I mean, you grow up in a place full of white people, you're going to grow up thinking white people are beautiful. You grow up in ANY place where something is beautiful (for example, a place where pink hair is beautiful), and that'll basically follow you for a long, long time...

I don't know, maybe I'm thinking too much of this, but I'll put it aside for now.

Mohit and I basically started talking about drug-based stories (The "Mario" series is based off drugs!) and disease-based poems (do you know what "Ring Around the Rosie" REALLY means?!?!), and we had fun talking about "House" too! Then, we split up and went our different ways.

When I got home... I washed my dad's shoes (oh, odd!), and showered. Prayed, then I started cleaning the bathroom. (I'm not done yet...)

So... Yeah, that's pretty much it.

Tomorrow, me and Alex are going on our annual ride to Burger King! We do this EVERY year, and it's basically a tradition, so we'll be doing it again. I just can't believe school's starting again so soon...

Oh yeah! I forgot to talk about yesterday! Mohit showed me a feed of the Projekt Revolution live from MySpace, and we both realized how much we loved Linkin Park!

Oh, and today, Risa got me hooked on Arashi!

We're a big family that LOVES rock, pop, techno, and technopop!!! YEAHHHH!!!!

Enough of that. Hmm... I introduced Mohit to some French music, and he thought it was cool, but got suddenly quiet after that. Strange...

I guess he was too busy playing with his new phone. Bwahaha. (Yeah, he got it YESTERDAY, not today.)

I forgot everything I did that day... Sorry!

Bye now!

Nothing Much...

<bgsound src="http://prophecymoon.tripod.com/cab.mp3" volume=100 loop=1 autostart=false>
Enya
Caribbean Blue

Start: 12:17 AM CST

You'd think I would have much to post about... Sadly, I don't!

I have good news though! Remember the Harry Potter 7th book premiere I went to a month ago? Well, my friend FINALLY uploaded the pictures! If you want to see them, go here:

Pictures aqui!

(Note: Try to guess which one I am, hehe.)

Yesterday, Mohit and I planned that we would go swimming later this weekend. Probably Thursday or Friday.

Today... Anh Nhi (Diana's friend) came over without calling! The nerve of her! She called at 3 PM and said she was coming over, but didn't come until 7 PM... Oy vey.

Her mom and her spent the time, with her mom inviting Diana to another party. Oy.

Also, that "friend" I made up with? Well, she gets angry at like me for stupid reasons! I said "Hyoi hyoi!" to her (I have weird ways of saying, "Hello hello!"), and she got angry and blocked me.

She's such a brat. I can't stand her anymore... Everything has to go HER way, or it doesn't happen at all. She's intolerant of everyone's beliefs, and will bash you down if you don't believe the same thing as her. She never says "please" or "thank you", and only demands everything.

...I'm gonna kill her one day.

...or...I could give her a taste of her own medicine. (And no, it's not gonna be mercury, hah.)

That's it, I guess. Enjoy the pictures!

Oh, and only six (well, now five) more days until school starts! Yay!

...I'm bored... Ughhhh...

And I didn't go play tennis with Sue today. Blah.

Bye-bye now. *waves*

No Sales Tax Week!

<bgsound src="http://prophecymoon.tripod.com/cab.mp3" volume=100 loop=1 autostart=false>
Enya
Caribbean Blue

Start: 12:39 AM CST

Hey everyone! Only one more week until school starts! I can't believe the summer passed by that fast! Grr!!!

...Well, me and Alex will be having our annual "before-school-starts" meal at Burger King! I think this'll be our third time doing this! We did one for last year's summer and last year's...Spring Break? Or was Thanksgiving? Christmas Break?!?! I forgot!

Oh, and everyone's been heading to sleep earlier now. Especially Mohit. He usually sleeps at 4 AM because of his online games, but he's been sleeping at 11 PM now... Huh.

So where was I? Oh yeah! My post!

Yesterday was Saturday, and my family and I went shopping for new clothes! No-Sales-Tax Weekend! Yeah!!! I got a few new outfits, but I didn't even try some of them on! I was rushed out of the store so fast!

Also, that day, I kept speaking different languages. I would keep switching between English, Spanish, Portuguese*, and ASL (American Sign Language)! I'm weird, eh?

*I only said "Eu sou agora!" Now that I think about it, that's incorrect. (I wanted to say, "I'm here!", but instead, I said, "I'm now!")

We went into Wal-Mart to buy some school supplies. We ate at McDonald's first, then entered the store, of course.

I got really angry while in Wal-Mart though. My parents seemed like they were acting all wrong in my eyes (you know?), and my dad kept screaming at me, my mom, and Diana to hurry up and get into the car. You see, he had bought some dirt for the garden, and had been waiting in the van for who-knows-how-long.

We all went home a very sad/angry family. And ironically, it started raining.

Everything cleared up later though; don't worry!

Now, today... Oh gosh! My dad couldn't find a time to go to church! At first, we stopped by Wal-Mart to pick up some groceries for Mom (and I had to buy some new earphones since my last ones broke!), and then we headed to church around past noon!

...We left the groceries in a hot van for more than an hour... That's sad...

Well, church was fine. I kept dozing off though. I hadn't eaten anything except candy! (Don't ask, heh.)

And...now I'm here. I went to go play tennis with Vy, Huy, Nickkie, Sue, and Alex. Vy sucked at first, but she really improved! And my right hand tennis playing is getting better as well! (I'm left-handed in sports.)

Well, I think that's it for today.

Oh oh! I forgot! I rediscovered my ocarina! You see, if you guys knew me three years ago (I'm pretty sure most of you do?), I bought an ocarina from a Renaissance festival by Houston with Alaina (darkwolfgirl), and a few of my other friends. Well, I started playing it again!

I've also fallen in love with church music again! I've been listening to "Ave Maria" and many Gregorian chants over and over!

I've even started listening to "Ave Maria" in ocarina!

In some parts of South America, they say that the ocarina plays such a sorrowful sound that causes people to commit suicide. I mean, it's like a siren! It's such a beautiful instrument, but if you listen to it over and over, you really do get depressed. (I got REALLY depressed, yeah!)

I now christen the ocarina as "The Instrument of Suicide"!

...O...kay. A little bit too strong of a word there.

I showed my ocarina to my friends while playing tennis. They didn't comment on it much, except Sue said that it hurt her ears.

I'm also thinking of making my own ocarina! I have a pendant ocarina, but I want to make a F-key ocarina! I hope I can do it! (I need to order some clay first...)

What else...

My dad's going back to the boat tomorrow. I won't see him anymore.

...and...Hurricane Dean is coming closer. But I'll doubt it'll hit us, you know?

That's it, I guess. I'll come around soon, okay? Bye!

Walking With Mo to School!

<bgsound src="http://prophecymoon.tripod.com/cab.mp3" volume=100 loop=1 autostart=false>
Enya
Caribbean Blue

Start: 7:19 PM CST

Hiya guys! What's up? I'm way too sleepy for my own good, but all this rainy weather has been making me drowsy...

Tonight, around 4 AM, it started storming pretty badly. Lots of lightning, thunder, rain... Oh gosh, it scared me!

Now, the streets and highways of many areas in north Houston are flooded. Scary, right?

And now... It started raining again. Oy...

So, how's life been? Yesterday, I went to the Ascension mass at church! We bought some roses, and did the entire ritual! For some reason though, people never remember to hold their rose until mass is finished, THEN offer it. Heh.

I saw Julie, her mom, Eric, Vinh, Teresa, Dalisa, Diana (Dalisa's sister), and Andy! Andy asked me if I was going to Windy's birthday party, but I didn't even know it was today! I asked him for the directions online, but he never replied back.

Oh yeah. How come Windy didn't ask me herself? Well, her mom's Buddhist, and her dad's Catholic. When they married, the mom became Catholic. And so, Windy grew up as a Catholic, but now, her mom wants to start going back to being Buddhist...and she's taking her daughter along. I see Windy every Sunday because she's altar server, but not anymore. It's sad...

Also, I got my sister addicted to Belanova music! "Niño" and "Rosa Pastel" are currently her favorite songs.

What did I do today? Well, I promised Mohit later in the night that I would with him to get his books at 1 PM. Well, I woke up around 1:39 PM! Oy! I called him, and he said we couldn't go because it was raining. (Remember the storm last night?)

Well, about forty minutes later, I realized that Mo had called me twenty minutes ago! I quickly call him, and he tells me that's he's HALFWAY there! So, I change quickly, and bike the path, with him waiting for me for...who knows long.

I changed my bike to a bench (I kept thinking it was going to be stolen!), and we waited in a bunch of lines. I saw Li and Long again! They were discussing a lot of things about their class, and then we somehow started talking about the Bible and scholarships and black gay Jews (don't ask, hehe).

Well, Mohit "extorted" me into carrying all his books. We eventually split the pack in half. I was also used as a person to save his spot in lines! Bwahahaha.

Lots of people kept staring at me and Mohit. In the school, yeah, but also in the streets... Weirrrddd...

Two girls also started standing in the same line as me. They were saying something, but I couldn't make out what it was... Huh. All I heard was "cute" and a few other random words.

Mo offered me to come in, have some water, and we talked to his mom and watched some news. Remember the flooding I told you about? Yeah, that's what I saw on the news.

I went into his room and he showed me his computer and started playing... What's that game...? Oh yeah, Warcraft. However, Mom called me and told me to go home.

So I left, and...it started raining on me. ("Weather, thou art a flighty mistress!!!")

I ate, and my parents just came home. I guess that's it.

Hmm. I think I'm done.....

...and Catarina visited my last post!!! I'm so happy! She always seems so busy nowadays, never visiting other people. I hope she's doing well.

Okay guys. Bai bai for now! *waves*
