4kidsTV : anime killer we must win this war please reply
Hello, as many of you know, 4kids.tv is a company hated by many of us otakus severely. I honestly think that they just take anime to annoy us. Well, for one thing, something must be done. I was able to pull a few strings and manage to get an email adress to mail compliants to. It's comments@4Kids.tv . I strongly urge you to email them and give them a piece of your mind. I know I did. There are several reasons to hate the company.

First, name changing. This is a serious problem. They just sit around and think of ways to make us otaku miserable. For example, they changed Ichigo's name to Zoe(Tokyo Mew Mew), Is Ichigo such a bad name? It literally translates to Strawberry in Japanese. Is that so wrong?

Second, editing. Something I am very sensitive to. They go way too far in 99.99 % of the cases. This is just...how should I put it? Dumb. And to beat it all, they don't even have the decentcy to release uncut box sets or dvds.

Third, half of the shows never even make it past the first season. For example, Ojamajo DoReMi had only a little more than 20 episodes, then it was canceled.

Fourth, they're not done yet. I have read on several other sites that 4kids.tv has took in, excuse me, STOLEN Pretty Cure and has the liscense. This is horrible. It looked like a decent anime.

Fifth, they wanted Naruto! I myself am a Naruto-finatic. When I heard that they wanted the liscense but didn't get it, I was relieved. Of course, the names would've been changed. Naruto would've been Sean, and Sasuke would have been Austin. Just thinking about it makes me wanna get my uncut box set and watch it and be grateful that 4kids didn't get it.

In conclusion, I once again urge you to take a stand for what you believe is right, and spread the word and try to get more followers in this war against 4kids. Sometimes, you must take some hits before the enemy is defeated. The war isn't over yet, and for now, if you see an anime exclusive to Japan for now, email a good anime publishine company(funimation, the right stuff, etc.) and cross your fingers that 4kids.tv doesn't see it. Well, that's all for now, my fellow otaku. Please reply and tell me what you think.
