Wow....I posted fast. ^.^
Third person POV
Ryou was worried. It should not have taken the girls this long to fight the aliens. He look over at Masaya who was pacing.
It was understandable. Masaya's only daughter was out there fighting. Ryou was worried too. His sisters and Keiichiro were all he had left.
The bell hanging over the Cafe door started ringing. Someone had entered the cafe.
"Sorry, we're closed." Ryou said.
"Ryou-kun..."
He looked up to see Chero with tears in her eyes. He was in shock, this was the first time she'd called him that since the kiss incident. But Ryou realized something was different about her...Something was wrong.
"What's wrong? Where is everyone?" he asked.

Chero's POV
I shook my head side to side.
"Grayda....He changed his poison....Everyone except Champagne...."
I covered my face and started to sobb.
My father hurried over and wrapped his arms around me.
"Where are they?" he asked softly.
"At the amusement park...Please hurry... I don't know how long they have." I whimpered.

Ryou jumped into action grabbing all the necessary tools. We all climbed into my father's van and sped over to the amuement park.

We arrived on the scene to see Champagne standing over everyone with a worried look on her face.
I walked over and hugged Champagne while Ryou, Keiichiro and dad all went to work to try to save my only friends.

   Woooooooooo.
Tears clouded my vision as I watched Champagne fight the aliens. I was pretty much useless. I was tied up and completely numb. I don’t think I could move even if I wasn’t tied up. All of my friends.....

Teshi appeared in front of Champagne, holding a blade to her throat.

“NO!” I screamed.

I shut my eyes.

“What the.....” I heard Grayda say.

I opened my eyes, I was surrounded by a bright white light. My staff, lying beside me glowed rainbow colors, transforming into a rainbow katana.
My outfit transformed too. The white in my outfit turned black and the black turned white. My hair turned black as well.
The sword flashed brightly and my ropes fell around me.
I grasped it in my hand, lifting it up. It felt right.

I stood up and rushed at Teshi.

She blocked my attack letting go of Champagne.

“Nice try Mew Chero.” she laughed.

I smiled.

Teshi blade shattered into pieces.

Her eyes grew wide.

I turned my attention to Merodi. I lunged and sliced her violin in two.

“Chero stop!” Champagne cried.

I stopped and faced her.

“What? I was about to finish them off.”

“Chero.....your eyes are black....Something is different about you...”

The aliens left us behind.

I felt dizzy. I fell to my knee and the katana disappeared and I was back in my normal clothes.

“W-what’s wrong with me?” I asked staring at my shaking hands.

“We’ll figure it out later. Right now we need to get everyone to Ryou and your dad.”

I nodded.

   OMB( Oh my Bambi) THIS IS LONG!!! Swrry!!!
I was on cloud nine! Kai forgave me and I hadn’t seen Ryou all day! Life was finally going my way!

So, I finished up my work at the café in a perfectly happy mood. But you know how they say all good things must come to an end? Yeah.... It came to an end alright...

Ryou walked into the room and told all of the mews that we were needed down stairs. He looked directly at me, I blushed and turned my head.
So, we went down the stairs. Dad was waiting for us.

“What’s happening Aoyama-sama?” Ni and Gem asked
using that creepy twin speak at the same time
thing....

“It seems Grayda is causing trouble at the amusement park. Does everyone have their antidotes?” Dad asked.

“Yes.” We all said.

We were heading out when Dad grabbed me by the arm and pulled me into a hug.

“Be careful out there Chero.”

“Aren’t I always?”

He smiled hugging me tighter.

“I love you.”

“I love you too Dad.”

He released me and watched me leave.

Masaya turned to Ryou.

“Why do I feel as if she’s never coming back?.....That something awful is going to happen?”

“I assume it’s a father thing......and a brother thing. I feel the same way about Malachi and Kera.”

“You may be right, but I can’t shake this bad feeling.....”

“So, the mews finally showed up. Good. I was getting bored.” Grayda said floating near the
Ferris wheel.

We had already transformed and were ready to attack.

Grayda had us out numbered with 11 to 10.
With ten monsters and one alien we had out hands full.

Lucky for me, I defeated my monster early, a little too early if I might add......

While the rest of the gang fought the monsters I went for Grayda.

He led me through out the park, dodging my every move.

We entered the fun house, when he stopped.
I was confused. Why stop here?

I was just about to ask him when I felt my staff arm being twisted behind my back.

Merodi was there and I couldn’t break free of her grasp. Teshi was there too.

“What’s going on?!” I demanded.

The three aliens smiled.

“Why did you lead me here?!”

“You’re the leader of the mews aren’t you?”
Grayda asked.

“Well, sorta.....” I said.

I never really thought of my self like that.

“Well then.....We brought you here to watch you teammates die.”

“Don’t worry. You’ll join them soon after.” Merodi whispered in my ear.

I jerked an thrashed trying to escape. It was no use. I then had a brilliant thought.

“It won’t work.” I said.

“What?” Grayda asked.

“Your poisons. We have antidotes.”

Teshi laughed.

“You forgot so soon? Humans truly are stupid....” Teshi said.

“What do you mean?”

“Remember not long ago we stole your antidotes and returned them.”

“Yeah, but nothing was wrong with them. We tested that.”

“You humans are so feebleminded....” Merodi
said, “Grayda changed his poisons. Now when you
precious teammates drink their antidotes it will kill them faster.”

"The poison will react to the antidote and instead of depleting the poison will increase.” Grayda explained.

"No!!!" I cried.

“Enough talk! Let’s get watching!” Teshi said.

She floated over to a monitor and turned it on. I gasped. My teammates, my friends.... They were fighting the monsters. Finally, one of them, Kera, destroyed the monster. A cloud of poison surrounded her.

Kera pulled out the bottle containing the antidote.

“KERA!!!! NO!!!!!” I screamed, “Don’t drink it! KERA!!!”

“She can’t hear you stupid girl.” Merodi scolded.

Kera drank the liquid.

My heart sank.

Wet. I blinked, trying to prevent the aliens from seeing the tears forming in my eyes.

“Grayda, look! She’s crying already! I can’t wait to see what happens when one of then actually dies!!” Teshi said excitement growing in her voice.

Grayda nodded.

“It’s only a matter of time before that one is gone.” he said pointing to Kera.

Kera turned to go and help the others.

I could only pray that the others wouldn’t drink the antidote, suffering the same fate Kera, my best friend was going to face...

“Even if they don’t drink the antidote they’ll still die from the original poison.” Merodi said reading my mind.

I let my head droop, but Merodi pull it back up by my hair.

“We wouldn’t want you to miss anything now would we?”

Things looked absolutely hopeless now....
(Mwah ha ha!!! XD Have fun with this!!* BTW I'm not trying to kill Kera off, I just thought it would be more emotional for Chero if it was Kera.*)

   Yay?
I careful avoided Ryou’s gaze the whole time! Go me! .....Well the important thing is that I think our sweet Keiichiro has a crush on our Champagne! This was exciting and it helped me get my mind off Ryou. I pulled Kera over and whispered.

“Did you see what I saw?”

“Yeah. It looks like Keiichiro is in love.”

So, everything was explained to Champagne. Yay! I think the girls really like her, which is good.
I think even Banira liked her.

Gem and Ni busied themselves with the job of showing her the ropes in the café, so I decided to talk to Banira.

“Hey.” I said.

“Hey.”

“So....Banira-kun I have a question.... If say
Kera was kissed by another guy against her will would you be mad at Kera?”

“Is this about you and Ryou?”

So Gem and Ni had told!!! I’d have to yell at them later....

I nodded.

“Well Chero-rin(another form of chan).....I can’t speak for Kai, but personally if I truly cared about Kera, which I do...I’d forgive her.”

Banira smiled.

“Thanks Banira-kun....”

Just then my phone went off.

“Speak of the devil.” Banira teased.

I gave him a dirty look.

“Hello?”

“Hey Chero-chan. It’s me Kai.”

“Hey..... What’s up?”

“I was wondering what you were up to.”

“Working....”

“So, you ended up going back? Good. I’m glad.”

“Kai-kun..... I need to speak to you.....”

“Alright... I’m listening.”

“Not now... In person.... Can you meet me here
after work?”

“Alright. Until then?”

“Until then....I love you.....”

“I love you too.”

I hung up my cell and sighed dreading what I was going to have to tell Kai after work.

Swrry this took sooooo long! I blame Driver's ED and School
So, our new friend Champagne is a mew. Yay! I’m actually happy about this because I really like her. I turned to Champagne.

“You have to attack it!”

“What?! Are you kidding me?!”

She said something in English and turned to me.

“How?”

“Just let your mind wonder and the words will
come to you.”

She closed her eyes and cried out her weapons
name and attacked the monster destroying it. Sassy popped out of nowhere(she was in Chero’s bag) and ate the jelly fish like creature. We all transformed back to normal.

“That was awesome Champagne!” Melon said.

“Yeah! You were great!”

“Thanks, but I don’t understand what’s going on......”

“We’ll explain later. You have to meet Aoyama-sama!” Melon said.

“I’ll call him to see where he is....” I said wanting to see if it was possible that my dad was not at the café.

I dialed the number on my cell phone. It rang and rang. A second later my dad picked up.

“Hello?”

“Dad? It’s me.”

“Aoyama-sama is Chero’s father.” Melon explained
to Champagne who looked confused..

“Hey Chero. What’s going on?”

“Well...... I wanted to know where you are
currently....”

“I’m at home currently. Why? By the way young lady we need to talk about your rude performance at the café yesterday.”

“Yeah, yeah we’ll talk about it later. Right now I need to bring home with me my new “friend” to
meet you.”

“A new mew?”

“Yeah.”

“Alright. See you in a bit.”

“Ok. Love ya! Bye!”

I hung up the phone and smiled.

“We’re going to my house.”

We arrived at my house a few minutes later. Dad
was sitting in the kitchen waiting for us. Mom was standing by the stove with a pot of tea boiling.

   This is kinda short....Sorry
Did Ryou just kiss me? Whoa whoa whoa Wait a minute Rewind Just last night I was over at Kai’s house crying my eyes out telling him every single detail about the mews, I didn’t even want to come back even though I would miss my friends. Kai convinced me to come back and listen to what they had to say. Now I just got my first kiss, the problem is...he’s not my boyfriend.

I’d like to tell you I shoved him off and yelled at him for kissing me when he knows I have a boyfriend. A very sweet and understanding boyfriend. But I’m sorry to say I didn’t shove him off. In fact I did just the opposite. I melted like putty in his arms. His warm strong arms... I mean come on What girl wouldn’t completely melt if a hot guy like Ryou kissed her? And Ryou was not a bad kisser either, I think... Being this is my first kiss and all. I was in shock. I thought Ryou completely hated me.
I could feel my face burning up.

“I-um....”

I couldn’t speak.

Ryou looked embarrassed yet some what pleased with himself.

I did the only logical thing.

I grabbed Kera by the arm and dragged her out of the café with me.

“Excuse me.” I muttered.

Ryou probably hates me now for just walking away after something as big as this.

I turned to Kera.

“What am I going to do?” I asked her desperately.

“I um....”

“I was kissed by Ryou, when I’m with Kai. Oh, Kera...... I don’t know what to do I was thinking about coming back, cause Kai convinced me, but now if I come back it’ll be so awkward being around Ryou. I’ll admit I really do like Ryou, a lot and I even had a crush on him at first, but now..... I have Kai.....Kera, what should I do????”

   Ummmm..... Hope you like it. ^.^;
Couldn’t these aliens give us one minute of rest? All I want to do is go home. I’m tired of fighting all the time, if it weren’t for the fighting Kai would never have gotten hurt....
Kera and I rushed after the rest of the girls. Grayda was waiting for us with the antidotes in his hand.
“Hey Those are ours Give them back ” Ginger exclaimed.
“Now, why would I do that? So, you can elude my poisons again?”
Ginger proceeded to stick her tongue out at him.
“Real mature Mew Ginger....” Ni sighed. (Ha that rhymes )
“Lighten up Mew Ni ” her twin teased.
Grayda sent out a chimera anima out to attack us.
“If you can beat my chimera anima I’ll give back the antidotes.”
We went on the offensive side. All of us attacking. Surprisingly we defeated the thing quickly, and it didn’t even produce any poison.
“Oh, no I lost again Well, I always keep my word.....” He tossed the antidotes back.
Gem jumped up and caught them.
“That was easy.....” Banira commented.
“Maybe a little too easy.....” Pepper said.
“Let’s have Ryou do some test on the antidotes to see if maybe Grayda switched them to poisons.” Malachi suggested.
“Yeah Great idea Malachi ” Gem said.
After dropping off the antidotes we all went home to get a long deserved rest.
The next day at the café was tough for me. I could still sense Ryou was mad at me, he ignored me and whenever I talked to Kera, Malachi or Keiichiro they all told me to wait and let him cool off...I started to think about Kai and how awful he looked in the hospital, I never want to see anyone I care about in a situation like that ever again.
My cell phone went off.
“Hello?”
“Chero? It’s Kai.”
“Kai? How are you feeling? ”
“I’m feeling great. I was released this morning and was wondering if after you finish up at work, you could come over to my house so we can talk.”
“Sure I’d love to Our date is still on for tonight isn’t it?”
“Only if you still want to go.”
“Is it ok for you to go? You just got home.”
“The doctors said it was ok for me to have dinner and see a movie.”
“Ok, I’ll see you after work.”
“Alright. Bye.”
“Bye.”
I hung up my phone. Ryou walked over to me.
“No personal phone calls during work.”
“Since when? That’s never been a rule.”
“Well, it is now. Don’t let me catch you talking on your phone again.”
“Is it because I was talking to Kai? Because he’s my boyfriend and if you have a problem with that-”
“Maybe if you didn’t talk so much and worked more then our secret wouldn’t have gotten out.”
He turned around and walked away.
That jerk I never want to see his smug face ever again I went to the back and changed out of my work clothes and put on my regular clothes. I put my café outfit in a box. I walked out are walked over to where Ryou was standing behind the cash register behind a counter.
“You know what Ryou? I’m tired of fighting, I’m tired of never being able to do normal teenage things, I’m tired of having to hide a huge secret from all my other friends, I’m tired of constantly putting all my friends and family in danger because of what I do and I’m tired of you ragging on me I apologized, it was an accident and you know what? I QUIT ” I slammed the box with my café outfit in it on the counter.
I stormed out of the café, tears in my eyes. I then went to the place I knew I could go and talk to someone. It was puring down rain outside, and of course today was the day I forgot my umbrella.
I rang the doorbell. Kai answered the door and looked surprised.
“Chero? I thought you got off in two hours....Not that I’m not happy to see you... Are you ok?”
At that moment when Kai asked me if I was ok, I forgot I was soaking wet and forgot he had just gotten home from the hospital. I threw myself into his warm embrace crying my eyes out.
“Oh, Kai ” I cried clutching onto the one person I cared about the most in the world
“It’s ok Chero.....Let’s get you inside and dried off. Then you can tell me what’s wrong.”
(Ummmm your turn Sorry it’s long. ^.^ )
This was a spur of the moment thing..... Hope it's not too bad....

   Yayness
So, it was great! Lettuce, Pudding, and Zakuro were all here! It was unusual, because normally the only original mews that came around were mom and Mrs. Leaf. It was mind blowing. Mom and Dad were both excited to see their old friends. Mom went around hugging everyone. It was kinda embarrassing...

It was then I remembered something important.

“Oh, um.... everyone?”

Everyone looked at me.

“Um.... At school today we had to make up a reason why everyone wasn’t at school.... So um.... We said that Banira and Ginger got in a car crash with Kai and that Gem and Ni are on vacation in America for a month with their Aunt..... Pepper we said was just sick.”

“I guess that means we are going on vacation girls.” Gem and Ni’s mother said with a sigh.

“How is it that I can pretend to be in an accident?” Ginger asked.

“We’ll make up some sort of costume!” Pudding exclaimed.

“Kera...... Why’d you say I was in a car crash?”
Banira complained.

“It wasn’t my idea....It was Kasa and Chero.”

“So, Chero.....Who’s Kai?” my mother asked.

I blushed.

“He’s uh.... This boy from school... He and I are
going to go on a date....Uh....”

“Anything else?” Dad asked.

“........He uh.....Knows I’m a mew!” I shouted my face turning bright red.

Everyone looked at me. All the adults looked shocked. The kids all knew of course, being there when the whole thing unfolded.

“He what?!” Ryou demanded.

“I didn’t mean for it to happen! He just knew ok?! He jumped out in front of us when we were attacked.....I confronted him and he said he just knew.... He didn’t know how, but he knew.... I didn’t go into any details.....I promised him I would...I owe him that much for getting him in that state....”

I could feel tears starting to pour out of my eyes. I knew Ryou was angry at me, I could feel the fury burning off of him.

I was hesitant to look at my parents, afraid of the reaction they were having. I looked at my Dad and Mom. They didn’t look mad..... ? I was confused. Mom had a huge grin on her face.

“Mom? Dad? Aren’t you mad at me?”

“Sweetie, the same thing happened with me and your Dad. I told him eventually, but in reality he always knew and was waiting for me to tell him.”

“Honey, if this boy knew that means he really cares about you.” Dad said.

I was happy that Mom and Dad approved.

“When he gets out of the hospital, I want to meet him. Ok?” Mom said.

“Alright.”

I turned to Ryou. I could tell the fury was still there.

“Shirogone-kun.....I’m sorry...... I-”

I used his proper name to try to lessen hi anger. I could tell that Ryou was going to be mad at me for a while. I had no idea how I was ever going to convince him to forgive me.

   Sorry...This is short.....
I was still worried about Kai, but this was something we, as Mews had to do.

“Ok, let’s figure this out.” I said, “Maybe if we attack it from different sides we can find a weakness.”

“That might work....Let’s try it.” Kasa said.

“Right!” Kera agreed.

We all went to different sides of the wolf chimera and started attacking over and over. It seemed as if any spot we attack was unaffected. There had to be something....

“I got it!” Kasa shouted.

“What?” I asked.

“We’re all doomed we should give up.” she said.

“We can’t give up! I still have hope! If we keep this up I’m sure we’ll think of something!”

“Yeah! Don’t be so negative Kasa!” Kera said. (Sorry Kasa!!)

“Fine! Let’s just keep fighting until the chimera gets angry and decides to eat up!”

While Kasa complained I looked at the spots we attack. The Wolf seemed to be preventing us from attacking one spot.... It’s belly.

“Kasa, Kera! We have to all try to attack it’s stomach at one time!”

“Ok!” the both said.

   Finally! lol
I couldn’t believe it! I barely even know him! Why him? WHY?! He shouldn’t even know about us! I could feel the tears pouring down my face. Kera and Kasa looked at me confused.

“It’s Kai.....”

“Who’s Kai?” Kasa asked.

“The guy Chero likes.” Kera told Kasa.

I ran over to him.

“Why?” I asked him. Tears hitting the ground as I
collapsed next to him.

“I wanted to protect you, Chero....I love you.”

“How’d you even know it was me?”

“I don’t know. I just knew......”

“You’re so stupid! We haven’t even gone on our
first date yet! How could you love me?!”

“Chero, it’s true we’ve haven’t know each other long, but ever since the day I first saw you, I’ve cared about you. You, the person who is kind and has a wonderful smile...”

His kind words just made me cry more.

While this was going on Kera and Kasa were fighting the aliens.

“Ribbon Umbrella Blast!” Kasa cried.

“Ribbon Melon Blade Eclipse!”

My sadness towards Kai being hurt and my anger towards the aliens was building up.

“Hold on Kai.....” I told him kissing him on the forehead.

I had to finish this up quickly and get Kai to the hospital. I stood up and faced them. I charged at them thrusting my staff into Merodi’s stomach causing the globe to fly out of her hand.

“Nooo!!!!” Kera and Kasa cried.

I jumped up in the air and caught it, landing on my feet.

“Now!” I cried.

All three of us attacked at once, but the aliens all transported away just in time. Leaving us with an injured man and a globe.

I looked down in the globe to see our team mates and friends.

“Hey! Can you hear me? Are you guys ok?”

“Well.....We’re as good as someone can be when
tapped in a glass globe....”Gem said sarcastically.

“....We’re fine Chero. Do you think you can get
us out?” Ni asked.

“Not sure, but we’ll have Ryou take a look.”

I then remembered Kai. I handed the globe to Kasa and ran to Kai.

“I’m sorry Kai....You still with me?”

“I’m still here Chero.”

“Thank goodness.”

So, we first turned back to normal and then rushed Kai to the hospital. We waited for the doctor to tell us the news. A few minutes later the doctor came out. He gave Kasa a weird look, for she was holding a large glass globe.

“How is he doctor?” I asked.

“He’ll be fine. It’s a good thing you girls came upon him when you did...Anymore blood loss and....”

“Can I see him?”

“I’m afraid not. We’re only allowing family members.....Unless one of you is Chero. He keeps asking for her.”

“I’m Chero.” I told him.

“Alright.”

He led me into Kai’s room. Kai had two I-V’s in his arm and was covered in bandages. His normally neat light brown hair was a mess, he was pale and his normally bright blue eyes were dull. His eyes brightened up when he noticed me.

“Chero!”

Tears welled up in my eyes as I sprung into his arms.

“Kai!” I cried.

He winced in pain so I loosened my grip. He petted my hair and hummed softly trying to calm me.

“I’m ok Chero.”

“Yeah, you’re ok this time, but what if next time
you don’t come out ok?!” I demanded.

“What about you? What if you don’t come out ok?”

“It’s my job to fight them. I have more of a chance than you of surviving. Just promise me you wont try to fight for me again. Promise me. Please....” I looked up helplessly into his eyes.

“Ok.....I promise, just promise me that you’ll explain everything when I get out of here.”

“I promise.”

I left Kai in his room and met up with Kera and Kasa. We headed off to the Café to get help from Ryou.
