God created the trumpet and the musician. He saw what he had created, and it was good.
I went to District Try-outs today. I was there for at least FOUR hours. Gah. All that wasted time just to find out EXACTLY what I already knew!

I didn't make Phase II. Gasp. I already KNEW I wasn't going to make it. So we could have left before the results were posted. But, no, we had to prolong my misery of... sitting.

I sware, I was as red as a beet when I walked out of the try-out room. I was practically shaking I was so nervous in there. I screwed up my scales, and ended up not having the nerve to play the one I could two octaves two octaves, and then I went and basically blew (haha, no pun intended) my etudes.

Yippee! I ended up making 24th chair out of 26! w00t!

Yes, I take great pride in my failure. Especially when I don't want to do something and am forced to do it. It's all because I never really cared in the first place, so why should I EVER care?

And, hey, at least I didn't make LAST chair! But, then again, I was there, and Jazzy (who made last chair) wasn't. Heh.

Mr. Doby is probably going to make us actually PLAY in class tomorrow. Bleh.

But, hey, on the bright side (OH MY GOD! SOMEONE CALL 911! I'M BEING OPTIMISTIC!! AAAHHH!!), I can BURN MY ETUDES!!! BWAHAHAHAHA!!!!
