so exam period at uni now. well not technically for me. I only had assignments this semester not a single exam. But my girlfriend has exams and so she's busy studying and I won't get to see her till her final exams over on the 19th. So basically I've been bored for the last 5 or so days since I handed in my last assignment for the semester, and knowing me probably going to be bored for the next week until she finishes.

Quoting Robin Hood: men in Tights above, but that has no relevance to anything :P I do actually have news. That little issue I had a few weeks back. the one about being indecisive about asking a friend out. Well guess what. I asked her out on Monday and she said yes. I don't think this week could get any better. As for the moment with me having assignments due in the next 2 weeks and her getting ready for exams (I have none :D) we'll probably have our first date after. In other news Pirates of the Carribean 3 came out here today. I'm hopefully seeing it saturday night.

hey all what's up? For me not much...since the last post all I've done in spidey 3. Didn't like it much and my one comment which in my opinion sums it up well is too little Venom, too late. Also trying to develop 3 villains was really bad on their behalf.

so today's a sad day in my life. My longest friend has passed away. To be precise my pet dog which I've had for near 18 years was put down today. Rest in Peace Titch.

Eminence

So yesterday I went to Eminence: A night in Fantasia 2007 concert. I assume most of you don't know what that is so may as well explain. Eminence is a symphony orchestra that holds regular concerts where they play music from videogames or anime. Last night was they're videogame concert but they also played some music From Romeo X Juliet as they are the group performing the recorded music that features in the show. It was actually an extremely good Night with music from Final fantasy XII, Metal Gear Solid 2/3, Xenosaga Episode 1, Shadow of the Colossus, and others. I also picked up the Xenosaga Episode 1 OST there. On other news the girl I went to the concert with has been one of my good friends for the last year and a half or so. Anyway Last night I was seriously considering asking her out properly. I'm not sure why because I didn't think i thought that way about her. In some ways it's just left me completely confused. I mean I'd usually say screw it go for it, but she's a friend.

so my 21st is coming up. seems a bit scary I'm it's literally less then 2 weeks away. Well I've basically already got my present (the computer I'm typing this on). But it seems scary...starting to feel old in my young age, but it makes me think seriously bout where I'm headed in life. On that note I'm still not sure whether to have a party on not. I mean I can't have one on my actual B'day due to relatives being down for it but was thinking maybe of having one the week after.

Yay

SO I'm finally getting my own computer this week. Ordered it last week and I pick it up Saturday. All I have to say is about time. Been trying to convince my parents to get me a comp for ages and my 21st just so happened to be the perfect excuse to get one out of them. Now I'll no longer be fighting with them for use of a comp. Guess the fun part will be starting the process of transferring my necessary files between them. That's actually quite a few files and I'm gonna see if I can find a bunch of blank rewrittable DVDs lying round the house.

some news

Well finally got some new news to report. Got Final Fantasy 12 on Thursday and am absolutely loving it. Though the story does remind me somewhat of STar Wars it's one of the greatest FF games in a long while. The fact that the opening score has some music reminiscent of FF6 had me absolutely exstatic. Mainly since that it my favourite FF game of all time. Other news is I've kinda given up on that girl. I was hoping that we might be able to try again when she's ready for a relationship but after a couple of weeks thinking I've decided that after the 3 month wait already it's not really worth the time. guess we'll just have to stay friends. Who knows, being who I am I'll probably still be single by the end of the year while hoping to go to Japan to teach english. Finally I started watching a series called Kimi ga Nozomu Eien. It's somewhat of a romance/drama. Though it's based on an ero game (but not hentai as an anime), it's actually really good from what I've watched so far while also being extremely sad.
