Still Alive

As the title states I’m still alive. Though it might not really fit since it’s only been five weeks since my last update. ^_~ After enduring weeks of record breaking cold it’s finally warmed up here. Today it was 54 degrees. I was in heaven. ^_^ It’s funny how in the fall when the temperatures first start cooling off how cold 54 feels and today it was so wonderful.

Not much has been going on. Yesterday I helped kidnap Aaryanna’s dog while Aaryanna was in school. The purpose of which was to groom the dog and surprise Aaryanna when she came home. Her poor poochie badly need a bath.

For my part I dried the dog with a dryer. It’s amazing how strong that little dog is. She’s only 15 pounds so one would think it wouldn’t be too difficult to hold her and dry her at the same time. That dog is one stubborn poochie who fights really hard since she passionately hates to be groomed. I wore my hands out. It was worth it though when Aaryanna came home. She was delighted when she saw her dog had been cleaned. ^_^ It was a Kodak moment.

Her dog has not been very forgiving since her kidnapping. She likes her routines and since I helped break her bathing routine she hasn’t let me hold her very much. lol Usually the dog is a snuggle bug but she’s been giving me the cold shoulder and reproachful looks today. I expect the fluffy little cotton ball will have forgiven me by tomorrow and I’ll be back in her good graces. lol

As for the question about my joking about the 700 car accidents in my last post, the answer is no. It was insane last winter. I believe the majority of the wrecks were attributed to drivers not slowing down for the road conditions. >_< So far the worst it’s been this year is around 50 car accidents in one day with most of them being minor ones. There haven’t been any of the big snowstorms yet like last winter so there’s still time for the drivers here to set a new stupidity record.

Anyway, have a great weekend. I’ll be spending tomorrow over at a friend who has four teenage boys. It will be a lot of fun. ^_^
