Well,my euphoria has melted along with the sweltering summer heat (I haven't written a poem in a while). Mostly because I got a call from an acquaintance. I've known her since 1st grade,and our friendship has always been rocky since the start. She called and asked how I was and such in a bright and cheery voice.And then she asked me if we've been best friends since "forever" and I said I suppose so.And she asked a favor. She wanted answers to the questions we needed to do for summer reading.
My heart dropped like a lead weight.
I told her that I had not finished it,although I had already 2 months ago because it bothers me how people always always never do their work and expect to copy mine at the last minute.
Again, someone just needs me for answers. Another person I thought was my friend had ignored my texts and messages completly,and yet had the nerve to ask me for answers as well.I was so angry that I never replied.
It just angers me how many people seem to only speak to me when they need something! I feel so used.
On the ride home from my grandma's,I thought I wounldn't let mom know,since she has enough on her mind.But the tears sort of just overwhelmed me. I didn;t know why they welled up or how to stop them,and I just eneded up telling her.

I'm nervous about starting high school on Wednesday.There are just so many people. So many more people to fool me, or otherwise isolate me because my grades aren't low and I can't think of anything else but to study after school. It just makes me so infuriated. And then sad.

I'll visit the sites of my good friends that update today. To all that visit me,thank you so much.Especially,Cagali Yamato. You always commnet my post and lift my feelings up ever since day one. Thank you also to Yamis Pharoahess and Yamilover03.
