It's been about a week, right? XD Okay then,update time!

The dunes were fun. I wanted to post pictures, but I can't seem to locate my camera. I got the worst sunburn of my LIFE, though. Seriously, I've been down south to Haiti and whatnot, but Michigan has given me the most memorable sunburn D:

School starts in just over 2 weeks. Crap. I'm still not done preparing. This summer felt awfully short compared to the ones I remember.

Btw, I know I already mentioned this a while back, but go read D.Gray-Man It's a really good series T^T and I notice some similarities between it and FmA. Nothing major, but noticeable:

-Main characters BOTH have a crazy arm.
-Both join some sort of orginization.
-Ed and Al have to deal with the Sins, while Allen has to deal with certain family (won't name names).
-"someone" trys to bring "someone" back to life >=O

There's other little things of note. You just sort get a familiar feeling when reading DGM. The stories are very seperate from one another, but I think you fma fans (and everyone else XD) would enjoy it.
Omg, there's also this one character (I HATE him personally) who's like Sasuke from Naruto. ugh BOO. and a lot of existing dgm fanart is of him. Ah well.

That's it for now. Sorry for the rambling! This manga is pretty small right now, as is the fandom. and If you *do* decide to read it, try to get past chapter one before you decide to stop. It's not that it's bad, it just didn't do as much for me as all the later chapters (pretty much 10 and up XD) did.

Wow. XD I'm a wee bit tired/crazy right now. Btw! That pic under the scribbles is coming to a gallery near you! Not tonight though. Or tomorrow night XD

So I'm going to the dunes tomorrow! Specifically, Michigan. So that'll be fun. I'll try to take some pictures (but none of me! >=O) And we're leaving in 6 hours...XD Guess no staying up til the wee hours of the night for me today.

AH! I saw March of the Penguins today! Go see it! It's fantastic! More !!!!

But really, what a great movie. It was so cute and funny and SAD. At one point I kept thinking to myself,'Lindsay, don't cry, DON'T cry.' And I'm really not one to cry during movies. And I never knew how weird penguins were. These zoo penguins have it so easy XD

so if you like penguins, or cute things in general, come see March of the Penguins!

You know what's sad? When you can Google image search a favorite character from a series and out of the very few relevant findings, one of them happens to be a picture that YOU DREW. So it is with Ling Yao (FmA). And it's sad because he's shared the top spot with Havoc as favorite character since October. Why is there no fandom? T^T Stupid popular characters with their clubs and fangirls...*mutters*


btw, if you have no idea who Ling is and you like fma, I implore you to read the manga online. It's a lot funnier, and overall BETTER than the anime.

True story: My brother was working and apparently someone, shall we say, left a present on the floor of the bathroom. Weird... especially since the proper facilities were three feet away o_O;

I kind of wonder what was going through the guys head when he did it. XD

Needless to say, I laughed my ass off when my brother told me the story.

I was at the store with my mom and I convinced her to buy strawberry soda. XD I love that stuff. It's funny though...I've only seen strawberry soda in someone's house *once*. Ever. Weird.

btw, tag on two more books to my reading list! I'm reading the Bible as well as some other bookwhatever that relates to the Bible. It's fer my Bible as Literature class that I'll be taking. I'm not religious, but I really think it'll be interesting.

Weekend Happenings:
I'm SO happy right now. I just recieved my Advanced Placement score (I'm not sure if I mentioned this earlier, but it May I took an AP test in the English Language). Anywho, I got a four! For those of you who don't know, the advanced placement exams are scored 1-5, 5 being the best. If I remember correctly, it's also graded on a bell-curve, meaning that most people who take the exam will get a three, and few people get 1's or 5's. Here's a very scientific chart to explain it:

Having a score of 3 or above can get you college credit, though some colleges won't except a three. Lucky Imma four!


Also, in a bizarre act of kindness, my mom bought me the new Harry Potter book. I think it may have been because of my score ^^


Also! My brother got me Photoshop CS2, the brand spankin' new version! Isn't he great?
