I only have 2 days before school… *sigh* I don’t want to go to school yet. lol

*’Korean Wave’ is the term used for the spread of Korean pop culture across Asia.

Families consider first birthdays to be very important, which is why they get dressed up and participate in ceremonies to celebrate when their child turns one.

The country’s nickname is “Land of the Morning Calm”.

The capital of South Korea is Seoul, and the name means “the capital.” Sounds pretty straightforward, doesn’t it?

They have their own version of manga, which they call manwah.

You can find the tallest Starbucks in the world in Myungdong, South Korea-it’s five stories high!

Taekwondo is the country’s national sport and literally means ‘the way of punching and kicking’.

Kimchi is a really spicy side dish and is usually made by pickling vegetables like cabbage or cucumber in different spices.
