Oh, snap!
Well, this is an interesting bit of news. It seems as though Ken Kutaragi, the CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment is "stepping down" (read: was fired) from his executive position effective June 19.
To be honest, I'm really not all that surprised. Taking into account the number of false claims that Sony has made in the past few years, especially regarding the PS3, it was really all a matter of time. I'm surprised that it didn't happen earlier, given the fact that when the system was announced (namely the price), all the fans went:

This is not to say that Kutaragi is a bad man. After all, he is the father of the Playstation. Of course, it has been made fun of for a copious amount of reasons over the year, but you have to admit, it's given us some great games.
I'm not intimately familiar with any of the more major screw-ups from Sony prior to the total cat-tastrophy that is the PS3, but there were a lot of things that Sony has done revolving around this whole thing that has seriously marred their reputation, and will take a hella long time to fix, at least in the minds of the gamers. Godspeed to 'em.

Damn you, Skittles...
I never thought I could possibly get addicted to one song so easily. All I shall say about Heartsdales is this:

Coincidentally, you know who else is made of win? Adam and James. 'Cause it's their birthday. GIVE THEM WISHES OF GOOD WILL OR BE DESTROYED.
Happy birthday, y'all. :)
That is all.

TracFone is pretty amazing nowadays. They actually let you call overseas for the same rate as they charge for calls within the country.

And since I just got mine reactivated, that means I can finally talk to overseas friends again.
TracFone RAWKS.

Well, this is a rarity for me. Something that I can actually rant about and it will make sense.
----
I am sick and tired of television news media.
Every time I turn on one of the cable news networks here, I see something that I shouldn't be seeing. Either it's something about Anna Nicole Smith or some random-ass news story from Podunk, USA that no one outside the people involved in it would give a rat's fez about.
Perfect example. I was sitting with my friends at one of the campus dining halls today and someone changed the channel of the TV to FOX News. Yes, I know, FOX News isn't a real cable news channel (at least, in my opinion), but let's just go with it, as the rant about FOX News will have to wait for another time. Or later in this rant, I don't know yet.
Anyway, guess what happened to be the news of the moment.
A horse. Stuck in a ditch.
I shit you not.
They spent at least ten minutes talking to the local sheriff on the phone about this damn horse, that looked dead, mind you, explaining how important it was to get "Champ" out. Retarded, right? Fortunately, another story broke in, this one regarding the attack in the Iraqi Green Zone that happened today, where eight people, inlcuding 3 Iraqi lawmakers got killed. I thought the newscast was saved.
But they went back to the damn horse after 15 seconds on the story.
Apparently, a horse stuck in the mud is more important than people dying in Iraq.
But then I got hope in the form of four people being shot in East Baltimore. A strange thing to derive hope from, I know, but taking the circumstances into consideration... Yeah. So, they start going into the report about the shooting when all of a sudden, they go back to the horse, because they have to talk to a vet about it now.
I could not make this up if I tried.
I really wanted to smash things after seeing this broadcast. What the hell has news media come to when a horse stuck in the mud has become the focal point of the day? It's absolutely ri-friggin'-diculous.
I was pissed off before about the whole Anna Nicole Smith thing getting news attention for two weeks straight (and now it's made a comeback!! DX), but this is just....WRONG.
It really makes one want to re-evaluate their career choice. :/
