It has been one crazy holiday for yours truly. I've been on vacation for the past week now and I've barely been in the house, lol.
The reason for that is because my mother decided to spend the Christmas holiday with my grandfather, so I've been out in the country for the past week (hence why there was no OA or releases this past week). But I'm back now, so there should be an OA double-header on Saturday.
I may also have to do releases on Saturday, since the libraries here aren't open on Sundays and I'm so archaic that I don't have Internet access at home, lol. We'll have to see.
Anyway, I hope you all had a wonderful holiday (or are still having one!). What'd everyone get for Christmas and such this year?

Apologies if I've seemed a bit cold and distant recently. I'm in the middle of final exams and you know how that goes. Fortunately, after tomorrow, I'll be done for the semester and I can go home and work on a various sundry of things (some of which are more OB oriented, but meh).
But things have been going fairly well, I think. I'll certainly be glad to get back home, though. Wish me luck!

Got back from Chicago late on Sunday, hence why releases were late. Sorry about that.
I think I did fairly well on the test, though the listening kicked everyone's butt since it went super fast this year. Oo;
Still there's a high chance I'll pass, so I'm not that worried.
In other news, if you go to Chicago, be sure to visit Mitsuwa. Their food and well, everything, is amazing. They had chocolate coronets. It made me happy. X3
The okonomiyaki also kicks seven types of ass. :D
Anyway, more detailed things later. Class and things now. Byes.

Making amends is fun. (See front page for details.)
Speaking of the front page, I am indeed off to Chicago this weekend to take my Japanese Proficiency Test. Wish me luck, y'all! X3
Later on. ^^

I cannot tell you how much I am looking forward to my coming vacation. I'll be out of town as of 1:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon CST, so if you don't see me online, that'll be why. I should be back sometime Caturday (no worries about the OA, folks).
See you then, I reckon.

For those that were worried, I'm fine and the problem's been solved. It's a bit too personal to go talking about randomly on a blog, but I am decidedly OK, so there's nothing to worry about.
Everything's happy. :3

Sorry for not posting the OA today, everyone. Something's happened that I was just made aware of today that completely blindsided me, so I've been on the phone with a lot of people all day. I'll try and have something up tomorrow.

1) The call of World of Warcraft finally got me. --; I'm on Sen'Jin under the handle of Xelhania, if anyone cares, lol.
2) The opening of LUCKY STAR is complete and utter crack-filled win.
3) Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei met all my expectations and more.
4) Full Metal Panic is love. SOUSUKE IS HEERO YUY'S ANCESTOR.
That is all.

Even More Answers!
Miss Anon.: What was your favourite Otaku Attraction?
Hm, that's a bit of a toughie, too. I'd reckon that'd have to be between the very first one I showed (a Kino no Tabi video) because it was so well done, and probably the "Seigi" Death Note video for the same reason. I'm a stickler for quality, what can I say? lol
timechaser: What's your favourite book?
...Good question, lol.
Truth be told, there's no book that I've read that really comes into my head when I'm asked that question.
I suppose if I had to choose one, I would have to say Book I of Kino no Tabi. I'm currently reading it and it pretty much follows what I've seen in the anime (which makes me happy; my friends and I call the box set "Philosophy in a Box," lol). It's a very thought-provoking series. I recommend it to everyone, even if you're not a huge anime fan.
And now for something completely different!
So my semester is almost at a close. It seems like it just started! But we've just started November, so that means finals will be starting the middle of next month. Only a little bit more to go!
In more exciting news, I've heard that I'll be going to Chicago in December to take the Japanese Proficiency Test. I'll be staying near the Chinatown area, so I'm pretty excited. If anybody here has been, what are some places I should visit?
