Song: Everything About You (Sanctus Real)

Humor is everywhere, in that there's irony in just about anything a human does.

LOL!!! ::starts humming:: Bill Nye the science guy! XD That made my day...A quote by Bill Nye!! How amazing is that?!

::cough:: Anyway. I did the most random thing today!

I went to a teahouse with my friend Marilyn. ^_^

Yeah, random, right? A teahouse. And I've never had tea before! o.O On the way there, we were talking about this, and Marilyn says "You've never had tea?! You poor girl!" Lol.

So we got there, and it's this cute little cafe in this small town, about a half hour from where we live. It was called Britain...Something or other. I can't remember what it was called.

When you walk into the little place, there's a little section at the front where you wait to be seated, and you can buy teapots and teacup sets and stuff. XD It's pretty weird. And they had all this English confectionary/candy stuff, too! Like those things in Chronicles of Narnia, Turkish Delights! I didn't know those things actually existed! And a lot of other English candy that I didn't recognize. There was also some stuff called clotted cream...You know, things like that too.

We got some seats eventually, in this dainty little booth. We took out our menus and tried to decide what to order...

There was a whole PAGE of the different kinds of tea you could get! It intimidated me...I had no clue which kind to get XD Marilyn helped me to choose; the kind of tea I got was called "Miami Ice", and it kind of reminded me of rasperries.

Honestly, I wanted to gag when I first tasted it. x.X It was really horrible. But after I added three sugar packets and let it sit for a little bit, it was kind of good. ^_^ Lol.

It was just so weird! I didn't know there was actually more than one kind of tea. I mean, I know there's green tea and that kinda stuff, but I thought traditional English tea was just this brown stuff that was kind of like coffee or something.

Besides the tea, I had some fresh fruit and cheese and crackers, which was really good. The kind of cheese I had was Brie cheese! Have any of you ever had it? It's really yummy XD

And then for desert, I got these cute little cream puff things with hot fudge on top! Those were amazing. And Marilyn got this intensely chocolatey cake...Seriously. Death by chocolate XD

After we had our fun with the tea--WAIT! There's something else I have to tell you! When they bring your tea to the table, it's in a teapot, with a mismatched teacup with it. The cup even has a little saucer underneath it!

My teapot was squarish, with pink flowers on it. (They were all different shades of pink.) My teacup was oriental-looking, with that blue flower design you see at Chinese restaurants (do you know what I'm talking about? XD).

And there's this metal filter-ish thing you have to put over your teacup before you pour the tea in it, to get the pulpy stuff out, depending on what kind of tea you get.

Anyways, enough about me and my random tea fetish! XP

When we were finished eating, we went to this other cute little cheese shop next to the teahouse. (I almost typed "cheesehouse". XD)

We tried to the most weird kind of cheese I've ever seen--Mango ginger cheese.

And if you think it sounds gross, you're right. It was. x_X It was really...sickeningly sweet. NOT what cheese is supposed to taste like. ::gag:: Ew.

Oh, God. It's friggin SNOWING!!!! You've got to be kidding me...Yay. AND ALL OF THE SNOW JUST WENT AWAY!!! T.T

For any of you that rarely see snow, you are LUCKY. You are LUCKY to see the sun all the time, with your nice 70-degree weather and being able to wear flip-flops all the time.

...And it's WARM. You think you want to see snow, just for a couple of days, but you don't, trust me. Snow is horrible and troublesome; I hate it. Yes, it's pretty, but it gets really annoying after having seen it on the ground for over four months and counting.

This is ridiculous...!!! I haven't seen the sun out all week. It's so depressing. I mean, rain is my favorite kind of weather, but that's all the sky seems to want to send down lately. I'm getting kind of sick of it. T.T"

Enough with my rant about the weather. I'm going to sign GBs! ^^ From the list on Wolf of Sorrow's site. There is a depressingly small amount of people who say they are going to be staying here on MyO, so I wish to become friends with them, since this place is like a ghost town these days. ::sad sigh::

...Poor MyO is dying...>_<

I was happy, though! I got TWO PM's today! Isn't that amazing?! The...::thinks:: THIRD PM I've gotten this week. IT'S A RECORD!! SO MANY!!! XD Lol.

Feel free to PM me if you want! It's not like my inbox is flooding over or anything. T.T

Well. Bye! ::glomps:: Later!
