Won't You Stop and Smell the Cherry Blossoms? Part 1
Hey yall this is a story I wrote... I am going to put up a bit of it... Let me know if you like it or not!!

I stared off into the distance, my long midnight hair resting on my waist. I remembered how only a short while ago, I was simply sitting with my mother and younger siblings. Then they came looking for a suitable virgin to be bought as a wife. Since all my siblings were many years under myself, Mother offered me.
"I will offer you my eldest daughter, Sakura," Mother said, her face emotionless.
"How old is she?" the ugly old man asked.
"Fourteen sir," she said while pulling me up so he could inspect me.
The man looked closely at me. He took notice of my yellow kimono with lily pad designson the bottom and my light pink obi that was a little loose around my waist. He touched my mignight hair and smelled it.
I just about slapped him but the look on MOther's face stopped me.
She said, "How will this benifit my family?"
"Why," he started, letting go of my hair, " Your daughter will be the wife of a rich man."
"THis is true?"
"Yes it is miss. Sakura will contact you oncer she is married."
"You may take her."
At that moment, I could feel tears coming to my eyes but I knew I had to do this. I bowed to mother one last time and walkedwith the old man into the carriage.
