Well 'Ello
Yeeeaaah, so I think I'll stick around for awhile... cause I like you people XD, even though I'd doubt if anyone still comes to visit my site seeing as I'm not that personal here. And theO is another place for me to waste my time at :D
Anywho, no real importance to this post, but I figured I'd show you guys this... if you havent already seen it on dA, because it amuses me so much ^^

I think I've overstayed my welcome.
Um, just popping on to say that I probably wont be on theOtaku that much anymore, because... it bores me. There are no opportunities to shine here, its the same ol thing, many people dont seem to care about art that much around here. Dont get me wrong, there are a few people that comment and/or vote on a lot of my work, and I really do appreciate that, but it just never changes. And the immaturity rate is high 'round these parts, a lot more art thieves and people who request something out of the blue when they've never shown their face anywhere on my site or portfolio.
Also, the otaku IS about fanart, I realize that, and that's what usually dominates the featured section. And I've broken away from relying on fanart, I used to do a lot of it, especially Inuyasha, and now that I've taken up creating my own characters and storyline, I belive I've become less popular. Which, to me, doesnt make sense seeing as my old art is crap compared to what I can accomplish now. So that brings up the point that theOtaku is more about content than quality, and I think that's true.
Not one soul from the otaku entered my contest either, which hey, whatever I dont care, but why the hell did I have 8-10 entries for my last one? Cause it involved wolves? I'm not putting people who draw wolves down, because well, I'm one of them, but... ugh, I dont know, this whole place is frustrating.
I'll stick around, upload art and whatnot till at least this "new version" is installed, but that's my last hope for theO. Maybe it will allow people to become more personal around here, which I think is something theO seriously lacks. Thats how it is at deviantart and it helps, because when you know more about the artist, you know how much some of their art means to them and how hard they work to accomplish what they do. Thats why I, and many others, spend time there and commit to that site, and unless the otaku can whip something truely impressive out, I'm gone.
I'm sorry if this upsets anyone in any way, though I doubt it, but I've felt this way for a long time. And if you feel the same, I'd advise switching to deviantart, or you can visit me there, I'm a lot more personable on that site.
I don't really even expect anyone to read this, let alone comment. I'll be surprised if I get more than 2 comments actually. For those who have a dA account, I'll see you there. If you want to look me up my name is BeanyCoffee.
