Animation and HTML FTW (For the Win)!
If you are all wondering about the many upgrades that have been going into my site over the last couple of days, I have 3 answers: Imagination, Animation software, and HTML.

As I mention briefly before, I have been delving a bit into HTML(once again, props to ILuvKyoKun.)
Through HTML codes, I've been able to bring you my music, music videos, pictures and my pretty cool looking post boxes (like the one your looking at now!) From hex colors to tables, html code functionality, especially for an otaku page, is only limited by your imagination and knowledge of the different codes. There are TONS of resources and quick guides to HTML that can be googled or even found here (there are some quick guides and a lot of the people on my friend's list are quite adept at html) If you're looking to make your otaku, or any other site you might have, unique, then knowledge of html is an invaluable asset.

On to animation. As you can see, both my button and my avi are now animated (My intro gif has always been animated I was lucky enough to find it that way). Some of you might recognize my avi from the level up/victory dance from Mario and Luigi: Super Star Saga. There are a lot of premade animated gifs or sprites that can be googled. But if you're looking to make your own like I did, there are some good sprite sites (Spriters Resource is a good one) where you can get a whole page of sprites. Just about all of these sheets have the sprites in order to make animation with them. All you need is a little inspiration mixed with imagination, a decent animation program (I use Babarosa Gif Animator) and paint (or Photoshop if you want to get fancy).

PM me if you have any questions on anything.
