Buttons galore!

That displays love? *Tilts his head.* In the Otaku world it does, hun. Seth: Oh. *Scratches at the bandages around his eyes.* -------- Oh yeah! An update on Sethy's life. He just recently had a little "accident" and ended up hurting his eyes pretty badly. They should be fine within a few weeks, but it's best for us to keep the bandages around his eyes to keep from stressing them out and making him blind for the rest of his life. Seth: That would not be good at all... Indeed. We wouldn't be able to see your pretty blue eyes anymore after that! Seth: They're not pretty... *Blushes.* -------- Anyways... I made buttons for all of you. As you can see scrolling down at the bottom of my posts, I have a series of buttons that I have made basically as close to your layouts or as close to your screen name as possible. I hope all of you love the buttons. They took me a few days to make (Besides Zappa's and Forgotten-Heart's. They made their own.) Bishojo Tenshi IMed me about a small convention going on within the confines of O'Connor high school here in San Antonio, so we're gonna go hang out there in out Alice in Rave Realm get up. We're so excited about meeting fellow Otaku that we want to go to sleep, but we aren't tired. Haha... isn't that just great? Seth: Excitement tends to get to you easily. Hey! I defend my point with the fact that I have been TAKS testing all week and I feel that I deserve a break. So nyeh! XP Seth: What was the "nyeh" about? *Can't see what Kawaii just did.* Oh, nothing. -------- I bet some of you are wondering about the "Alice in Rave Realm" I just mentioned in the previous paragraph. xD Way back in October, we ( Bishojo Tenshi, Sethos and I) were getting ready for Oni-con in Houston, but we really had nothing to cosplay as and lack of money kept us from getting the essentials we needed for said cosplay items. I was watching a friend of mine draw and I got a wicked (yes, wicked!) idea. Sitting on the couch and talking with Bishojo Tenshi on the phone, I told her about said idea. Y'know how there are so many different remakes of the "Alice" series out there? They have the murderous Alice and the Disney Alice and the Novel Alice... well... why not make a Gothic/Raver-ish Alice? And with that... we made up "Alice in Rave Realm". Sethos was our beloved Cheshire cat. Bishojo Tenshi was the hawt Alice. And I was the Mad Raving Hatter. Group shot. We were a hit at Oni-con since we weren't cosplaying characters that were already made. We made up these characters and decided to be creative about it. We then decided to bring these costumes back to Ushicon 2006. We did a lot of revising and editing on our costumes and TONS of people found themselves wanting to join us. We busted our behinds just getting all of the characters assigned for all of these people that wanted to take place in our Alice cosplay. Here are some photos taken from Ushicon. We went on Stage (The one on the far right is our very dear Lemony Slash who was out Sleeping Door Knob.) Me smiling. The Mad Hatter has a thing for Alice. We were actually being serious. Here is what our group turned into after adding everyone else. (The majority of them are cards and knights.) The famous kiss. (Yes, I do Yuri. xD) Messing Around. A good group shot. The group again Our skit also made it on Youtube. (The person controlling us by button commands is our white knight, Bishojo Tenshi's brother. We also came up with idea kind of last minute. xD ) And that's the brief story behind our Alice in Rave Realm costumes. The costumes have become somewhat of a tradition for us now. We take the costumes with us everywhere... hoping to somehow become a hit with every con we attend. :D! -------- Well not that I'm done spamming all of you with links to pictures of us, I think I'll head off to bed and get ready for tomorrow and stuff.
