   Life is Alright!
How is everyone doing? I hope all is well.

The weather has warmed up, some what; pre-registration for Otakon is open; and I'm going to represent the Delaware Anime Society at Nerdcon in Philly next weekend.

Life is what you make it and I will tell you right now my good friend, that mine is pretty good at the moment.

Control what you can and don't waste time on what you can't. That is what I live by.

You'd be amazed just how affective one can be when focused on their strengths; just as long as you are using your powers for good and not evil.

Be the hero, not the villain.

I finally saw "Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence." It was really good, in my opinion. I like movies that wow your senses and stimulate existential thought. Could you tell that I was all about some multiple colors and semicolon usage today? (^_~)

   Yeah Baby!!!
Kosaikon was great! The DBZ Budokai 3 tournament brought some really good players. This little boy (I think he was like 7) beat a teenager (I think he was like 15) using Yamcha. The other guy had one of the Saiyins (can't remember which one). That was a good fight. I met some great people.

I went to the DC Cherry Blossom Festival on Saturday April 9. It was a WONDERFUL day!! The weather was near perfect. I got to see Hello Kitty! She was wearing a pretty pink kimono.

(I know I'm way too old to be excited about someone from Sanrio dressed up in a Hello Kitty costume but I was excited none the less. My guy friends hate to use the bathroom in my apartment because it's all Hello Kitty. They say they feel Hello Kitty staring at them. LOL!!)

Anyways, the street festival was a lot of fun. I had some ramen with tempura shrimp. It was really tasty. Target was one of the sponsors and the Target dog was there in a Target logo kimono! LOL!!

Other than hanging out at cons and festivals, I finished an Emergency First Responder class. I took the written test on Friday and had the practical Monday. Passed both. Woo-hoo! Now I can save someone's life. LOL!!

I hope all is well in your neck of the woods.

As always, odaijini. (^_^)

   Life is all right
How is everyone? I hope all is well. It's been a very long time since I've updated this page. I apologize for the same old stale stuff being on here.

It snowed today! It was so beautiful. We didn't get a lot but it was enough to cause problems on the road.

Another year another diet and exercise regimen.

I know this post was lame so I thank you for your attenttion.

It's been forever since I've posted something on this page. I've been busy moving and half studying. The disasters occuring are unimaginable! My heart breaks everytime I read the newspapers.

If you truly care for someone, let them know.

May your actions come from unselfishness and genuine concern.

We are just fleas on a dog and can be shaken off at anytime.

It's been a long time...
...since I've posted something on this page.

Work has been busy.

Plus, I've been doing some serious procrastination on Chapter 1 of my thesis. Now I'm going to have to do the research boogy-hustle to get it done by the due date. (*_*)

Why do I do this to myself? I think I must be masochistic.

That's all I have for now. It'll probably be another long while until I post again.

   A Halloween Story...
Late one dark and rainy Halloween night a man was walking home alone
when he hears behind him .......

BUMP...

BUMP...

BUMP...

Walking faster he looks back, and makes out the image of an upright
coffin banging its way down the middle of the street toward him

BUMP...

BUMP...

BUMP...

Terrified, the man begins to run towards his home, The coffin bouncing
quickly behind him ...faster...faster...

BUMP...

BUMP...

BUMP...

He runs up to his door, fumbles with his keys, opens the door, rushes
in, slams and locks the door behind him. However ...the coffin crashes
through his door,
with the lid of the coffin clapping ...

clappity...

BUMP...

clappity...

BUMP...

clappity...

BUMP...

clappity...

BUMP...

At the heels of the terrified man....

Rushing upstairs to the bathroom at the end of the hall, he locks
himself in. His heart is pounding; his head is reeling; his breath is
coming in sobbing gasps...then ...With a loud CRASH the coffin starts
breaking down the door. Bumping and clapping towards him. The man
screams and reaches for something heavy,

Anything

His hand comes to rest on a large bottle of

ROBITUSSIN .

Desperate, he throws the Robitussin as hard as he can at the apparition,
and...

The coffin stops.

LMAO!!!

What kind of hell are you going to?
Dead
You're going to a cleansing hell. This is where you
will sit and wallow in all of your sins for all
of eternity. Satan and Hades shared this hell
for 1,235,409 years. As rival brothers Satan
took over devouring Hades to the 3rd Hell...
Have fun.

Which kind of Hell are you going to?
brought to you by Quizilla

Check out this quiz! I saw it on Akito's My Otaku page. I'm not quite sure what this says about me but it sure is different from the cutsie quizes I usually take. (^_^)
