Imagine a world without hypothetical situations.

Wow...I haven't updated in so long...

Well, anyway, I suppose I could go into this huge rant aout my entire summer and how it's been awesome but really busy, but I'm kind of lazy, so to make a long story relatively short:

Nipomo, CA: Went for a week with Mary Kate and her mom to see my beloved Thomas. He graduated high school (much to his mother's relief, lol), so we went to see the celebration and to just party together in general. Anyway, we had lots and lots of fun (and several make-out sessions), saw all these really kick ass shops and bought souvenirs, and went swimming a lot in the hotel pool. Basically a very good time. The flight there though, it sucked. Planes broke and got turned around (with us in them), and there was a 5 hour drive from LA to Nipomo at 2 AM in a PT Cruiser convertible (possibly the ugliest car in creation). Oh, and very very excited Karmi on the way when we first drove to see Thomas and his family. 'Twas wonderful.

Burlingame, CA: Flew from Nipomo to Burlingame (right next to San Fran) to see my aunt. Very sad to leave Thomas, but, c'est la vie. Had a good time there for about two weeks, did a lot of reading, caught up on Tamora Pierce's tortall series by reading all of the Protector of the Small series, and the first book of the next one (forgot what it was called). Also reread Speak, one of my all-time favorite books. Also, the twins are now 3, almost four, and talking up a storm. They're as cute as ever, although Baia is definitely my favorite. Mark is a punk who doesn't like me, lol.

San Francisco, CA: So, surprise surprise, Mary Kate calls me up, and she's like, me, Thomas, and my dad are driving up to San Francisco to visit for a few days. Hooray! So I stayed with them in the hotel for about 5 days, and omfg let me tell you, that is one fucking hilly and chilly city, and a pain in the ass to walk around in. All hail the trolley bus! Actually, both trolley and city buses were horribly over crowded, and also a pain in the ass. We did some cool stuff though, like go on a ghost walk of San Fran, visit the Museum of Modern Art, and catch a viewing of Kung Fu Hustle. Oh, and a lot more making out. Much better this time, because of the very minimal supervision. Hooray again!

Burlingame, CA (part deux): Back in Burlingame with my aunt, lots more chilling and babysitting, occasional manicures and pedicures, and a very very glorious trip to Morning Glory! That store rocks. I picked up a LAMB (Gwen Stefani's clothing label) jacket that is just beyond bad-ass, and two pairs of totally rocking jeans. I also bought some new reading material - Hoot, Geography Club, Fade, and The Perks of Being A Wallflower. All very good, although Fade sticks out in my mind as being particularily excellent, and I haven't read Perks of Being a Wallflower yet, but I hear very good things. (I'm saving it for the plane ride back.) It's been rather crazy around here as of late, because Rosie, my great-aunt who is 96, is most likely going to die in the next couple of months, as she has cancer and many other ailments. So her daughter (my aunt in law, and my aunt's sister in law) is down here, helping Dennis (my aunt's husby, and Rosie's son) decide where they're going to place her for the next couple of months, because the nursing home is just basically shit. So she took the room that I was staying in, and Gloria (kid's nanny) is in the living room because my mom and bro, who flew down here a couple days ago (that's a whole other miserable story) are staying in my aunt's apt. down the street, where Gloria normally stays. So I'm stuck in the kids' room, and omg y'all it's crazyness.

Charleston, SC: Okay, so I'm not actually in Charleston yet, but I'll be flying in there tomorrow. Ahhh...the joys of a hectic life. * cough * I'll be doing some major hanging out with friends when I get back, as well as getting a job and starting my karate again. School starts August 8th, I can't believe I'm going to be a junior. Wild.

Music you should definitely listen to: The tunes of Bright Eyes, particularily "Haligh Haligh A Lie Haligh", "First Day of My Life", "Easy, Lucky, Free", and "Lover I Don't Have To Love".

An RPG you should definitely check out: Annie's Mechanical Angel Azrael. It's bad-ass.

Anything else I wanted to say? Not really. Now. To go check out those AX pictures I've been hearing about...
