Hey everyone! Unfortunately, I had a LITTLE accident. I got bit by my cousin's dog. How bad was it? Well, since her dog was akita/husky mix, I had to get nine stitches near my left eye. It was kind of scary. The strange thing though, is that I started crying about halfway to the hospital, just because I thought that I ruined one of the only chances this vacation for my mom and dad to have some alone time with the adults!
And the worst part is, is that it took at least 2 and a half hours to get to the right hopsital. The first hospital took twenty minutes to get to, a thirty minute wait, then we left. Another twenty minutes to get to another, and another thirty minute wait. We then left to ANOTHER hospital which took forty minutes to get to.
Here's another simple thing. We left for the first hospital at about 7:30pm, and left the third hospital at about 11:40-ish pm. When the doctor was putting my stitches in, he told me that one of the stitches that he put in was about 1-1 and a half centimeter from my eyeball. Ouch! So now I am coping with so much swelling that I have to close my eye, and I have to go back to the hospital later today for a daily check, just in case of infection. Except all that, I'm just peachy. Ja ne!
