Life's Imitation WIP
Life’s Imitation

Bound by knowledge
Hands and feet
Eyes vexed by self awareness

I scream for my redo
A second try from the start

Oh, beautiful ignorance
Hide me away in your sanctuary
Close the door to the world
Cover my wounds with a blanket
And rock me to sleep

Keep me forever in my bliss paradise
Where we speak not of pain and duty
Reality is kept secret
Days are spent inside

We no longer realize
Our enemy has made up for our lost time
Before I come to know
He surrounded my sanctuary of ecstasy
To late, I catch on
My personal haven was a trap all along

The numbing fades away
Old wounds pang once again
One touch and walls crumble
He stands over the rubble

Oh, bitter reality
Spare me your honesty
Let obliviousness remain in me
False freedom, rule me
And lease my soul

With core verses he riposte,
Hear my veracity,
For is consolation over liberty?
Has a counterfeit verve taken control?

So listen up
Come back to life
Inter folly imitations
And make progress

Your suffering will be your success
Your sorrows, the gateway to true happiness
Become erudite with wisdom
Convert it into your kingdom
Shift now for the impending victory

Truth open up to me
No longer was I hindered
In void emotes
Reason reach for me
No longer will I abscond
From the onus

Please, try to forgive me
Understand that understanding hurts
Please, do not accuse me
For my identity was lost

My life’s imitation is now rescind

Horrah!
Welcome back to everyone! I hope this actually sticks. It's a lot easier to talk about not only our art here, but also our lives, which is why I assume everyone was so close. Well, close as you can get internet. I'm sad to report, I won't be updating much, most likely. But none the less, I'm here!
