Welcome to another day,
Another day in time,
A day that treats you as it may,
Whether it be bad or just fine

Welcome to another day,
Another day that repeats itself,
365 times, with or without pay.
In those days, are several one days

Out of all those ones days,
Are two major somedays.

The one someday,
where you'll fall in love.
That should be nice to say,
as it'll fit like a glove

Then a darker someday,
a someday of death.
Acting all giddy and gay,
You won't know what hit you, until you start turning blue

So instead, from now on

Like a doe welcomes her fawn,
