   Hellowa
Heey everyone^^ I've been quite busy lately, homework stuff wasn't going very well, but now things are getting better, sun is shining :D Hehe ;) I've still got a lot of stuff to do, but at least it's going good, i'm working on homework at home again^^
Tomorrow is SaxGirl's birthday! Yay! I'm really looking forward to tomorrow, to go to her party :D
I rarely write any poems, but a few days ago I couldn't sleep and wanted to write something - and made the following:

Slowly
Falling into
darkness
Fading from
memory
Frozen in
time


Though
Lost for
eternity
Driven out of
space
Never to
return

^__^ Finally some poem I'm kinda pleased with^^ If you have any advice or suggestions, let me know :D
'though' is because frozen in time - though: lost for eternity :) Hehe =P
I've got some new art up today^^ An experimental picture of a dragon, I wanted to try out layers and such ^^
Just one more week of school lessons, a testweek and a week in which we have to pick up and bring things and then we're free :D *happy*

   I'm back :D
Hello everyone! Long time no speak^^ I missed you guys! Thanks for all the lovely comments! ^.~ I came back yesterday about 6 pm ^^ The trip was so great! For those who asked - we went to Dublin^^ I went to two or three museums, to the beach, to Spiderman 3 (good movie but sometimes a little bit too predictable^^), had some free time, game night and several other things which I can't remember at the moment^^; We had to walk a lot, it didn't bother me as much as last year's school trip :)
Today I'll be going to take it easy, check what you guys have been up to ;) and maybe I'll make some homework..

Drawing tips:
- Practice a lot with drawing. For example take a real life object and try to draw it, so it looks as if it were real. You'll discover this is really hard but the more you practice the better it'll get (and sometimes ask help from others if you can't figure it out how to do it exactly ;)) To look at things in reality, to deceiver how it really looks like and 'works' it helps to understand it better, as well you drawing will improve^^
- Colors. Deciding on colors can really make a huge difference in tone for the picture. Colors such as red, orange and yellow (or any mixture of these) are warm colors, they attract your attention. Remember, YOU are the one who directs how the viewer looks at your drawing. For example if you have a drawing without any recognizable objects (abstract drawing) in which there are the colors blue, green, black, and a few spots of yellow and orange. The yellow and orange spots will attract you attention, not only that but it will warm up your drawing, giving it a 'positive' feeling to it.
When don't use warm colors the drawing could be: sad, mysterious, dark though calm, haunting, etc.
- Using different mediums will make you have a broader 'knowledge' of drawing. Try to extend your 'type' of drawings sometimes. Working with other mediums makes you understand different things than you are used to^^
- Others can point out different views of the drawings (where you haven't thought of) ^__^

monday --> friday - school trip ^^
Heey, just to let you all know that I will be going on a school trip tomorrow^^ I'll be back at friday, don't know how late though^^ I'm all going to miss you! *hugs everyone*
Man, I'm in a good mood, although my hw isn't going well... we don't have any projects anymore (the things we really learn from) we only have a lot of 'small' homework. It's boring and most of it is useless to do because i won't learn from it (at least, not a lot, just a tiny bit) ... I'm finding myself doing nothing.. Yesterday I barely did anything - which is not like me at all. Were it a half year ago I would've had my homework finished... *sigh* Oh well^^ I'm not going to bother you guys too much about this =P ^^

I got some new art up :D I re-colored the picture of Sasuke and the snake ^^ I had to redo a lot because something went wrong with saving it (I had the snake colored.. I had to redo about 90 minutes of work >.< ) OH well^^ I finished it :)

Sorry, but I don't have any tips of the day, can't think of any good ones^^ Hope next time I will get you some good ones (i hope^^;)

I tried out my new wacom tablet and the program Coral Painter 3 (which was came with the tablet). Me loves it already :3 Anyway, I've got some new art up! Some old pictures I colored with the stuff i just mentioned^^

   Finally sixteen :D =P
Heeyy :D
Today's my birthday *bouncehappybounce* xD This morning I got very unexpected a drawing tablet for my computer :D I already knew I would be getting a photography course thingy for my birthday (a day with a real photographer^^ so I didn't expect anything else^^) This afternoon a very very good friend of mine, SaxGirl, gave me stuff for charcoal for my birthday :D (with stuff - pencil for holding it and a fixation thingy and a sketchbook :D) Wieejj =P
Oh and my friend says hi - SaxGirl: well... erm... hi...^o^' *didn't expect this you see=P*

Hello you all ^___^ lol =P
Remember I talked about the photography site? It's now a little more active, but not much still, oh well, eventually it'll come^^
I've thought for a long time about it, but i've made and deviantart account so I can combine my art and photography :) (visit me at www.just-LL.deviantart.com ^^) I'll definitely visit here a lot more then there, don't worry! (dA is a bit big, I'll see what i do, keep that account active or not - still convinced that theO is better =P) Anyone else with an account? Please let me know ;)
I have vacation :D It's great, but I have to do a lot of homework >.< *sigh*

Tip(s) of the day - uhh post
1. With a pencil drawing, always start light/ don't press hard on your pencil - you can erase easily and you can darken the good lines
2. You direct the viewer, how he looks at the drawing. When not sketching/making a serious drawing: make a drawing with a meaning and complete the drawing so you can 'feel it's complete' (hmmm this sounds weird though... dunno how to explain it better)
3. Have fun while drawing, don't draw because you have to/because others say so but because you like it ^__^

   Good afternoon :D
Thanks for all the lovely comments!

Good news: my father has bought a new camera! It's great, the zoom is so awesome =P I can't wait to borrow it and try it out ^.~
I have found a different, less serious site for photo's via fanart central. It's www.photo-lucidity.com. The 'only' problem is that the site is.. .quite inactive >.< Very few pics are being submitted and very few people comment, if not one. I'm going to try to get that site active again, spread the word for new members, ensuring people comment a lot, etc. So that's my plan, otherwise the site is just... boring and inactive. Could you guys help me spread the word? (mention it on your site when posting) *puppy eyes* To get the site going^^ That'd be great!
And if you like photography, if you have a few nice/good pictures you can always make an account ;) I'm there justme (no dots were allowed xD)

Oh and i'm planning to give each post a tip, whether it's about drawing or something else =P
- When you keep drawing for a long time, mistakes are being overlooked, here's a tip to help you spot them:
1. When drawing, twist your paper upside down and look at the poses (etc) to see if it's correct. Another method is to look at it from different distances. (other things: ask others to look and/or put your drawing aside for a while (do something else) and look at it later).

   Long time no speak
Heey, I thought I'd post again to let you guys know I'm still alive ^__^
Saturday I made an account on a photo site, a very serious site with a lot of good photographers, some are even prof. It's a challenge for me, but since i might want to do something with photography in the future i took that challenge =P
You can rate the pics for aesthetics and originality (out of seven - seven is absolutely great, 6 is very good as well, 5 is great, 4 is very nice and 3 is ok) and you are able to leave comments^^ Well, I uploaded a pic, and guess what? I got a 4,56 for aesthetics and a 4,22 for originality (a total of 9 rates) So that's good^^
Here's the picture which i took at the age of 13 (sorry it's big, but otherwise the quality is lost =P):

   Tuesday... :)
The testweek went ok^^ I received two marks: 7,5 for maths and a 7,7 for Science for Public Understanding :D Glad with those two marks. (the mark is out of ten, if you wondered ;)) I really want to know the others...

I haven't drawn anything lately, and I really mean anything, unless you count some boredom scribbles in class which had turned out to be nothing :) Oh well =P I'm apparently not in a drawing mood^^

Here's a picture I did long ago on paint shop pro, just doodling to get used to the program. I never thought high of it.. but I've decided to post it here on my site^^ Don't know whether to submit it... What do you think?
