   This week...
Bored, I stumbled into this book in the library... Fateful Years: Japan's Adventure in the Philippines. The title got my curiosity.

Scanning through the pages, I found out that what I picked out was a history book documenting Japan's conquest and stay in the Philippines.

Ok...it's a history book about war. I was bored and curious so I took a look. It turned out to be interesting. The detailed accounts, descriptions and stuff about the events that lead to the Philippine's fall to the Empire of Japan during the Pacific section of the World War was cool. Like watching a movie run in my head...

Anyway, I'm nearly halfway on the thick book, with detailed accounts on the defense of Bataan.

So far, what have I learned? War is never a pretty thing to experience. If you're on the front lines, you get the front row exprerience of the whole campaign. If your a top brass, the lives of thousands of men who are fighting are depending on you. One wrong decision could be the death of countless lives, or a downfall of an entire country.

Well, that's that.
