Merry Christmas!

Merry Chrismahannakwanzakuh everyone!

Last night, I had to sing in my church's Christmas Candlelight Service. I had to sing a duet with my friend Rachel, and three other songs in a group of 6. It was entirely nerve-wracking, but our church's choir director was so impressed he asked Rachel, me, and a few other girls to sing in the Easter choir with the adults. 0_0; Of course everyone is going to say "Oh you did such a good job!" even if you sucked, but our choir director is really picky and hard to please, so umm... yeah. o.o;

This morning started out uber-crappy. Everyone was in a terrible mood, mainly because my mom was yelling at everyone because she wants everything to be perfect. So I freaked out on her because she put me in charge of the camcorder and then everything I did was wrong (according to her) so I turned it off and walked out. Came back a few minutes later and she told me to stop listening to 'satan music' because I was playing the new My Chemical Romance CD overnight. Then I was all "Huh? I dunno what was playing overnight, I just fell asleep as soon I hit laid down. Maybe I accidentally turned on the radio instead of a CD." She bought it, so I was off the hook. xD

Then everything calmed down and we opened presents. The only kool things I got were POTC 2, Memoirs of a Geisha, and a cute pair of Vans (I picked them out a few weeks ago and tried them on so my mom knew what to buy) I got a couple other things like an art set (which, outside of the nice wooden case, sucks) a calendar, and the game Fact or Crap. We played the game after we opened presents and I lost wicked bad. xD

Then we drove to my grandparent's house, where I am now, and ate dinner and opened more presents. I didn't get the iPod Shuffle I'd ask for- Grandma said she'd been looking for weeks and couldnt find any because they were always out of stock. But she got me a different mp3 player, which I guess is kool because it holds more songs and the battery lasts longer, and its still pretty tiny. The package says it can store other files too for transport too, like photos and presentations, which might be handy because I have to burn powerpoint presentations onto a CD every week for church because I run the projector that has the weekly announcements and stuff. So, so far so good I guess.

I wish Christmas was more fulfilling though... I remember how Christmas used to be so exciting, and I would count down the days and the hours, and it didn't matter what I got because I was so easily pleased. Now it's like the only point of Christmas is getting a week off from school. The presents aren't exciting because every time I open a present I feel like "I saw a better one at the mall" or "I already have one that's nicer than this." I hate it, it's like, I want to be happy and appreciative, but I just can't, and I don't know why. I mean, I'm not unhappy... I'm just not feeling the Christmas spirit.

study hall

Well here I am in school, with nothing better to do than type this because I can't find the english vocab I should be studying for a quiz next period. Oh well, I'm sure I'll do fine because vocab is my strong point in english class. Anyway, it's been awhile since I posted, I suppose alot has happened.

On the 21st of October, it was my little brother's 8th birthday and we drove to syracuse to go to Chuck E Cheeses. xD He had a blast, and I got to flirt with a cute black guy, which totally made it worth my time. I had left my best friend's birthday party earlier that day (it was the morning after a sleepover) because I had to go to Syracuse, but I had fun with my brother.

Two of my bunnies, a pair of black mini rex, died. ;_; No idea how, one died and then the other one died like two weeks later. We hadn't been doing anything differently, and our two netherland dwarves are perfectly fine.

My cat is pregnant. Again. -_-; We had gotten rid of two of the three kittens from her last litter, and kept the runt, who I named Ding Dong. xD (Her mom's name is Twinkie and her uncle is Zinger. We like junk food. xD ) Then we realized Twinkie was pregnant again before we had a chance to take her to the vet to have her fixed, so one day while I was at school my mom let some stranger take Ding Dong! We had put an ad in the newspaper to get rid of the other two kittens, but we had agreed to keep Ding Dong. I was so incredibly pissed because I totally loved that cat, she was like mentally retarded or something (hance the name Ding Dong) and loved sleeping with me every night and licking me and following me everywhere and trying to drink my coffee. *still upset*

So halloween night was okay... I went trick or treating with my friends, but some of them got into a fight and Dustina started crying because Emily was being rude and Emily and Bryan left. -_-;; But we ended up running around with my awesome neighbor Travis, and running into this one kid who my friend and I love to flirt with. xD Then after we were done April came to my house, and my mom let us take the car to Stewart's (gas station/ice cream shop) to get free ice cream for going in our costumes. I was a hippie. XD

Last night I had my first class for the 5 hour driving course that I need to take in order to get my lisence. I figured there would be someone there I knew from school, but the only person I know pretty much is the guy I like. >>; The one who I totally gave up on but he's still gorgeous. xD

gotta go,..

Here Lies Pete

Yesterday evening my mom and I bought two more Shubunkin Goldfish, one was Calico and the other was yellow with black speckles. I named the yellow one Pete, and the calico we named Robin. This morning my mom found Pete dead on the floor. 0.o;;

I assume he was a suicidal little fishy and jumped out of the tank and fell five feet to the floor. (the tank is on top of a filing cabinet)

Pete was a good fish. Though I didn't even know him a day, I feel like I've lost an important member of my family. Okay, not really. But may he rest in peace in that great big fishbowl in the sky.

Anyway...
Tomorrow evening my dad is having a football party at our house with a bunch of his 40-something friends. It's gonna be wicked fun though I bet my mom won't stop complaining about the guys being noisy and stuff. Guys yelling at the TV amuse me though. xD We re-arranged part of our living room so that our pool table is easier to use, because no doubt some of them will wanna play pool during half time or something. I suck at pool, otherwise I'd be challenging some of the guys tomorrow night. xD

Oh, we decided to name the two small goldfish Cynthia and Frederick xD Or Cindy and Fred for short. My dad wanted to name me Cynthia, and Frederick... idk my mom thought of it. xD Though LiquidSilver would've been Fred is she was a boy but I totally didnt think of that before xD

So guess thats it

Random Question

What are you doing for Halloween this year?

Since Sunday I haven't listened to any music except My Chemical Romance. 0_o; It's addicting, every day I have a different MCR song stuck in my head. XD

Today after school I had drama club, though they didnt tell us until today during morning announcements, so right after school I had to call my mom to tell her not to pick me up right away. Letting us know a day ahead of time would've been nice but no big deal, it only took like 10 minutes anyway. Mr Rabideau handed out rehearsal schedules and made sure everyone had a copy of the script, and had a list of who got what role.

The play we're doing is The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis, and I got the character Imogene, who I hadn't the slightest idea about until like an hour ago. When I signed up for drama club I hadnt gotten to see the script yet, so for my preferred role I asked my friend Dustina and she told me I should put down Imogene, so I did. Well after reading the script I totally love my character. XD

She's 11 or 12 and completely awesome, one of the characters says to her "I hope I did the right thing." and Imogene says "I used to hope that to. Now I just hope I don't get caught- it makes things less complicated." xD I'm 16, but people think I'm 13 or 14 all the time and in the right outfit I can easily pull off 12. I can't say I haven't used that to my advantage a few times... like the time last summer I was with two of my friends at the movie theatre to see The Ring 2, and the guy was like "3 adult tickets?" and my friend April pointed at me and said "Oh, she's 10." (because 10 and under is cheaper) and I just went along with it so I got in for the child price. o.o;

When I came home after drama club my mom said she took the list of good fish breeds to buy for our tank to Wal*Mart since she was getting some more tank decorations anyway, but they didnt have any Ryukins, she hates black moors, and the fantails were being treated, so she bought 2 of the 28 cent Common Goldfish. They're only a little over 1" long each and both plain orange, but they're still kinda fun to watch. ^_^ If I can figure out how maybe I'll take some pictures, the larger Shibunkin Goldfish (who I named Clark) is especially pretty.

Random Question

What should we name our two new goldfish? So far we have a sucker mouth catfish (plecostomos) named Frank, and a Shibunkin Goldfish named Clark. The two new fish both look like this:

Just keep swimming

Last night my mom brought home a fish from work... 0_o; She does home health care, which is basically babysitting handicapped children in their homes. Well this one autistic boy she takes care of twice a week had a fish tank in his room with a goldfish and a plecostomus (aka a sucker mouth catfish) and the pleco wsa bothering the goldfish. Since the goldfish was the boy's favorite, special fish, his mom asked my mom to take the pleco and a spare fish tank they had to make sure their goldfish would be okay. So she came home with a fish in a big and a 10 gallon fish tank, and my 2 yr old sister Kimmie was all excited and kept saying "Memo!" (She really loves Finding Nemo)

So after filling the fish tank with water and a single sunken ship, and putting the pleco in (which we named Frank) we bought a filter, some colored pebbles, and a Shubunkin goldfish, which is a common, hardy breed of goldfish originally from Japan. He's a really pretty white with orange and black spots, and he's really active. He keeps swimming to the top and making the water splash. xD

My mom kept saying we should get an Angel Fish, but those are like a tropical breed and I knew she was thinking of the wrong thing but finally figured out what she wanted was actually called a Fantail Goldfish. We used to have one like 5 years ago named Big Mama who lives for like two years, and she was so fat that she floated at the surface, tail up, and she really had to struggle to get her head to the surface to eat. XD

So I decided we should get a Fantail Goldfish, Black Moor Goldfish, and a Ryukin Goldfish because they're all good breeds that can be in the same tank together and are pretty easy to care for. A long time ago we had a fish tank but my mom had no idea of the right way to go about caring for the tank and buying fish and such, and we mixed all sorts of breeds of fish that shouldnt be mixed, like Bettas in the tank with goldfish. 0_o; And we never cleaned the water right or changed the filter or made sure the water was the right temperature.

So yeah, now I'm addicted to aquarium fish. 0.o;

love bites

I don't really expect anyone to comment on this, or even bother to read it, I just needed to get this out because I'm just really frustrated and confused at the moment.

Today at school I noticed that this new girl at my school, Teresa, was talking to Brandon, they guy I've liked since like last winter, as they walked down the hall. I didn't think much of it until I went to my next class which Teresa was supposed to be in, and she didnt show up even though I'd seen her in the hallway not even 5 minutes beforehand.

I asked one of my best friends about it and she said that Teresa seriously likes Brandon, and he seems to like her even though he has a girlfriend. Last school year he used to flirt with me all the time, but I didn't ask him out or anything because I knew he had a girlfriend. Now he doesn't talk to me half as much as he used to, and it kinda pisses me off and I'm not enitrely sure why. I mean, he's totally hott and practically a genius, but he's a player and a manwhore and everyone knows it. He's not really worth my time, but I can't help but feel like I'm somehow not good enough for him. Practically half the guys in my grade want to go out with me and I've rejected all of them because most of them are stupid, shallow jocks who just wanna get in my pants.

Then there's Brandon, who's confident, smart, gorgeous, athletic, but still really deep and thoughtful, and he writes amazing poetry and songs. He's so funny and outgoing; we used to spend a whole class period joking around about porn and marijuana, and he'd say anything to get me to laugh. But even after all that I know he'd just leave me for the next pretty girl that walks by. And yet out of all the guys who've shown an interest in me, he's the one I want but can't have, because it seems he's already found the next pretty girl that walked by before I even got a chance.

I don't know why the whole thing with Teresa pissed me off so much. It's like he's way out of my league but always used to go out of his way to make my day a little brighter, and now that's gone. Someone as awesome as Brandon actually noticed me, and I guess that made me feel special. A relationship with him would never really last, so I should just get over it but I can't.

I guess I can always hope that somehow things will turn around, maybe he'll actually remember that I'm still here. Then I can go back to giggling during history class and looking forward to school each day.

*facedesk*

So life's been pretty insane lately, I hafta say that this year of school seems alot easier than last year. I have classes with pretty awesometastic people and not alot of homework. Last year I had tons, but this year I pretty much only ever have math homework because I hardly ever get any in Science, History I can finish in Study Hall, and English is always done in class. Yay #^_^#

Yesterday my friend Shawna was supposed to call me and come over to take home a kitten. They're all 8 weeks old and we need to get rid of two of them now. But she never called and I don't have her number, so I ended up spending the night at Rachel's house. Somehow I always end up helping her make dinner or babysit or something but we always have a blast anyway. xD I like passed out on her couch at 10pm last night and her cocker spaniel slept with me. (not like that you gross little pervert 0_o; ) Then at like 7am Rachel woke me up and told me to go lay in her bed and I slept till 1pm. XD

Then I got up and we peeled apples while watching Blast from the Past, and decided for the rest of the day we'd use phrases like "Gee, that'd be swell!" and "Jeepers!" and "nifty keen". At church for a teen party thingo we were walking up the stairs and she said "Jinkies! No wait, wrong era!" and I said "Yeah that's like the 60's, not the 50's. Jinkies! It must be a clue!" and then I said "Bow bow bow!" like Blue the dog from Blue's Clues. We both broke down on the middle of the stairs laughing for like 5 minutes. XDD

*.*

So here I am, painting my nails with the new color of nail polish I just mixed. xD As mentiomned in the last post, on Friday I went to the mall with some friends. We saw the photo booth at the arcade and of course couldnt resist =3 For $4 we got a crappy polaroid of the three of us, and I'll cherish it forever. xD I scanned it so I'll put a clickable thumbnail at the end of this post.

Also, today my grandma brought our copies of family portraits, so I scanned that too. ^_^ There'll also be a thumbnail of that...

So today, not much happened. I wore my new black hoodie from Aeropostale to church today, and it's like amazingly comfy. *_* Best $14 ever spent. I'm definitely buying more of them in other colors when I go back to the mall. Hopefully they'll still be on sale in two weeks, because the normal price was like twice that much. o.o;

My best friend told me that some of our friends think my family is rich because we "go to Wal*Mart and the mall all the time". I go the mall like once a month 0.o; And Wal*Mart, well we're always running out of something stupid like milk or paper towels so we go there practically every day. I was like "Nah, my parents make just as much as theirs, mine just don't blow it all on cigarettes and beer, so there's actually money to spend on extra stuff." Which is kinda sad if you think about it. ._.;

When my grandparents came over today, grandpa and my dad left to go to a football party, so grandma stayed with us and we ordered pizza. x33 And then she let me drive her van to pick it up, which was like super kool because it's handles alot better than my dad's car.

Guess that's all, here are the pictures:

Down the middle: Hannah (7, my cousin) Kimberly (2, my sister)
On the right: Andrew (7, my brother, what an ugly shirt)

school!

jeez, I haven't updated in like forever. But anyway, school started thursday. o_o; Like the last two weeks of summer i was like "Yeah! School's starting! I'm so excited!" and then the very lsat day before school I was like "NOOO! I don't wanna go!" and then the first day was like "That was it? That was easy enough." xD

I'm not really happy with my schedule, because I have all the hard classes first.

I have an easy class first(gym, english seminar, or study hall depending on the day), then science, history, and math right in a row. D= But I've got all the right people in said classes, so its not so bad. Then I have Spanish, Math Seminar, English, science lab, and art. The only classes I don't have friends in are Math Seminar and Spanish, but neither are really a big deal.

There's this new girl in my grade from Denver, Colorado, and I have two classes with her. She seems really kool and my friend Emily and I chatted with her while waiting to get our school ID photos taken. Mine came out pretty good. xD

Yesterday after school my took April, Emily, and me shopping in Watertown. ^_^ I was originally looking for shoes, but we decided that the ones I wanted were too expensive to buy if I wanted to get anything else. So I bought 3 black tshirts and a black hoodie, and decided that in two weeks we would go back and buy the shoes I wanted. I found these cute Converse at Foot Locker for like $50 that are like black and grey, I think they'd look really kool with some nice laces from Hot Topic. (all of my shoes have laces from Hot Topic, it's like a requirement)

On the first day of school my earth science teacher, Mr Bruyere (who happens to be married to my biology teacher last year) was like "In Kansas, you can't say the word 'evolution'. When you turn on the radio, all you hear in gospel music! And when you turn on and exit from the interstate, on one side of the road you see a warehouse that says 'Discount Fireworks!' and other the other side there's a warehouse that says 'XXX Porn!'" XDD

So yeah guess that's it for now. xD TTYL

Ohyay.

So today I *finally* hung out with my friend, Sarah, who is going away to college on the 27th. We went out to lunch at Donut King, this awesome little local diner, and then walked to the Dollar Store, and I bought a My Little Pony and a crazy rainbow hair tie with fake hair on it. Then we ride the 50 cent merry go round in front of the grocery store where Sarah works, and after the first ride it ate a bunch of quarters, so we sat there and kicked the machine till the quarters jiggled out and we rode again. We both had our cameras so we took dozens of pictures. xD

Then we went to the drug store across the street, bought a ball (which Sarah named Mr. Bally) and we went to her house, went to my house, then walked to Wal*mart and bought more stuff. She spent $107 on clothing and a comforter for her dorm room and stuff. 0_0 I spent $6. xD

Then my dad picked us up and dropped Sarah off, and I went to Vacation Bible School. I wore my rainbow hair tie and the kids thought it was really kool. x3

Finish the sentence:

When life gives you kiwi...
