   In the end

At the end of my birthday, it wasn't so great. My father came home with my balloons and cake. My mother asked where the candles and ice cream was. Thats when it started. They argue in Spanish, which makes it sound much worse.
"You never asked me to buy those." "Why do I have to tell you?!" "Okay. Give me the money." "Why do I have to give it to you?! I bought the cake! Use your money! Why I have to tell you to buy the candles and ice cream? Its your daughter! I should have to tell you anything!"
Day by day, they always argue about money. My father is cheap. I still love him. My mother always yells. I still care about her. We don't see eye - to - eye most of the time, though. But that's a different story.
"Go see if there are any candles." My parents kept a couple of candles from when I was younger. The highest number I could find was nine. I told my father to come so I could blow out my candles. He got angry when we were gonna use a nine. He went to the store and bought some candles and ice cream. My mother came in and asked if he was angry about the candle. After I said yes, she smiled and said,"Don't worry. I'm not gonna argue today." After she left my room, I began to cry. Not even something a special as my birthday could stop them from fighting. In the end, everything happen as best as it could... But I wouldn't be suprised if my parents got divorced. My mother even said she hated my dad, and not even a sometimes included. Its been happening since as long as I can remember. I can't deal with it anymore. Sometimes I wonder why the hell they got married in the first place...
