Chapter 4
As darkness fell, Kiba and Hinata started to search out a water source and came upon a small stream close to the path's edge. There they set up camp.
After starting up a fire, Kiba and Hinata sat silently across from each other soaking up the warmth and night sounds.
"Uh... Listen, Hinata... About that kiss..." Kiba began, but paused trying to word his thoughts.
"Yes?" Hinata asked looking up.
"Well, it didn't mean anything, It was just kinda... spur of the moment," Kiba said, but seeing the hurt look in Hinata's eyes he hated he had said anything at all.
"Yeah... It didn't mean anything." Hinata replied. "I'm going to bed now."
Jumping up Hinata grabbed her bed roll and rolled it out beside the fire. "Goodnight." She offered, rolling away from him and going to sleep.
Kiba just sat, with Akarmu's head in his lap, staring at Hinata's sleeping form.
"Well, boy, seems like i've done it again," Kiba muttered to Akamaru, as he got up to get his own bed roll.
After settling down, he hands behind his back and Akamaru snuggled up next to him, he thought about the kiss. He thought about how wonderful it had felt to feel Hinata soft curves against his hard body. Her lips had been so soft, and yet so incredibly sweet. He imagined what her body would feel like without the boundries of clothes between them. He could imagine her long legs wrapped around his waist, how smooth and perfect they were.
Kiba could stand it no more, desire fueled his movements. He stood up and walked around the fire. He paused when he reached Hinata's sleeping form, seeing the flickering light from the fire spreading across her face. Slowly kneeling down beside her, Kiba lifted a strand of hair away from her face and lowed his lips to hers.
Hinata sighed in her sleep as Kiba's lips met hers. As his hand began to caress her soft face moving to the back of her neck, he kissed her softly.Hinata arched her back in response, slowly awaking, but unsure of if she was still dreaming or not.
"Kiba?" Hinata whispered against his lips.
Kiba took that chance and plunged his tounge through her lips, taking all he could of her sweet taste.
Kiba took and took, not giving a inch, not allowing Hinata to protest. His hands moved down her back up the back of her shirt, moving along smooth silky skin. One hand moved around to caress her smooth flat stomach. Hinata moaned at the feel of Kiba's rough hands. Kiba broke his lips away from hers and moved to her neck.
Hinata didn't know what was happening to her, just that it was the most wonderful feeling ever. She wanted more but wasn't too sure what more was. her hands clinched in Kiba's hair, but she didn't know whether to pull him closer or to push him away.
"Kiba..." She said breathlessly. "I think... I think we should stop."
Kiba rolled away from Hinata and stared at the sky, trying to catch his breath, to control his desire. "I want you so much, Hinata."
Hinata sat there, too stunned to say anything. Her breath coming quick.
"Can't you feel how much I want you?" Kiba grabbed her hand her hand and held it to the crotch of his pants.
Hinata gasped and jerked her hand back in shock. At once the image of Kiba naked that morning flashed in her thoughts.
"But... You... I... We can't." Hinata said, her mind swirling.
"Yeah, your right, but when has that ever stopped me?" Kiba said, jumping to his feet. He looked down at her. "Sweet dreams, Hinata."
Kiba walked away into the woods to calm himself down, leaving Hinata with a puzzled look on her face. Hinata didn't know what to do. She wasn't sure if she should go after Kiba or not. She ended up laying back down trying to sleep, but sleep eluded her.
After about 15 minutes of lying there Hinata heard Kiba's footsteps coming back. She knew he had layed back down in his own bed to sleep. Eventually she fell asleep.

Hinata awoke to a bright light. She opened her eyes to find it morning already. She sat up and looked to where Kiba should of been sleeping and all of her memories from the night before flooded back.
"Oh!" She gasped, bringing her hand up to her lips as if to feel Kiba's lips still pressed against them.
"Something wrong?" Kiba asked from behind her.
Hinata whirled around with a blush.
"Nothing is wrong," Hinata blurted out.
Hinata looked at Kiba to see any sign of the night before, but Kiba stood next to Akamaru, as if nothing had happened. Had she dreamt it all? Was she losing her mind? No! She knew it had happened, there was no way she could dreamed of something that passionate. Why was Kiba acting as he was?
As Hinata packed away her sleeping material and went to the stream to rinse her face she decided that it must have not been that important and chose to fallow Kiba's example.
"Come, Hinata, I think that if we make good time we should be able to make it by mid day tomorrow," Kiba said to Hinata as the three began their journey.

Back at the Village Neji was going nuts. He couldn't stop blaming himself for Tenten's injury. If he had just kept a better eye on her, then she would be ok right now, not at death's mercy.
He sat beside her bed as Sakura and Ino slept. He could not take his eyes from her face. She had yet to awaken or show any progress. He didn't know what he would do without Tenten, she was his anchor in his world of chaos. Everything he did, he did for her.
A light knock sounded on the door and Neji got up to answer it. Shino stood on the other side.
"Neji," Shino greeted.
Neji stood aside allowing Shino to come in. Shino went directly to Tenten's side.
"How is she?" Shino spoke to Neji, but kept his eyes on Tenten.
"The same," Neji said with a sigh, plopping back down in his chair.
Shino stood silently staring at Tenten's features. Neji sat with his eyes closed. As Shino watched, he saw Tenten's eye lids flutter, then open. She looked up at Shino and the two stared silently at each other.
"Things will improve Neji, I am sure of it." With that, Shino turned around and walked out.
Tenten started with interest at Neji, who had yet to notice. She moved her head to the side to get a better view. Neji's head popped up to see Tenten's bright eyes staring at him.
"Tenten!" Neji said, jumping to his feet. "Your awake! How are you? How do you feel? Are you hungry? Do you want something to drink?"
"Ne..." Tenten tried to speak but her voice came out hoarse. She cleared her throat but found it hurt to do so. "Neji, where am I? What happened to me? Why do I hurt?"
Neji wanted to grab Tenten and pull her close but he couldn't for fear of hurting her worse. So insteast he took hold of her hand and squeezed it.
"Tenten, it will be alright, everything will be ok," Neji told her.
"But... I'm so confused, Neji, what happened? What did I do? I can't... can't remember..."
"Tenten, stay calm, your alirght, i promise. Two nights ago someone broke into your room and hurt you really bad. Everything is alright now because your awake," Neji told her. "Kiba and Hinata are out right now trying to find the guy whos did it, while Sasuke and Naruto are making the village safe again for you. Tenten, I am so sorry I let this happen to you, I should have watched out for you better."
It hurt Tenten was trying to remain awake, but her eyes kept drifting down, she was so tired, so weak, she didn't like feeling this way.
"I'm so sorry, Tenten, you need sleep," Neji said, sitting back down in his chair.
Tenten didn't argue and was asleep in minutes.
As soon as Neji was absolutely sure Tenten was a sleep he left the room to get Sakura who was asleep in her own room, to tell her the good news.
Sakura opened her door a little angry at being woke up, but as soon as she saw Neji, her mood changed to one of being worried.
"Is everything alright, Neji?" Sakura asked, turned to grab a robe so she could hurry to Tenten's room.
Neji stopped her by giving her a huge bear hug. Sakura was stunned at Neji's behavior.
"Tenten woke up!" Neji about screamed in Sakura's ear.
At first Sakura didn't quite comprehend what Neji had said but as soon as she realized she hugged him back just as tight, if not tighter.
"We must tell the others! You go back and sit with her, I'll go get Ino and the rest." Sakura said, breaking away from Neji.
Over and over again the message 'Tenten woke up' played in Sakura's mind. Everything would be okay now, if only Kiba and Hinata can destroy the enemies.
