   Tea and books galore...

After my last 6 am - 6 pm shift at the DR last Sunday and Monday, my sense of time seemed all screwed up. Wasn't able to sleep last night until 3 am... so I ended up waking up at 11 am thinking that it was still early, good thing I didn't have classes though.

It's odd that I didn't felt any shock or surprise when I had my first actual experience of assisting in a delivery of a baby last Monday. It seemed like no big deal at all. weird, I feel like I've become a robot or something, lacking emotion for such events. Nevermind that.

Today, all I did was sit at the sofa and read the last HP book that was recently availabe at our school's library as well as some textbooks that I think would come in handy while drinking tea. I've had my second cup already and I feel like having two more...

Well, I've been really looking forward for a time like this, the only thing that sucks is that our Midterm exams is on Friday in which I haven't even started studying yet. Nah, it would be a breeze, and like what our dean often says, "Positive attracts!" Beside, I do intend to study when we get back from my grandma V's birthday dinner.

Man, this week had been pretty much troublesome for me… And I was planning to enjoy the remaining few weeks of vacation but sheesh I ended up being my bro’s private nurse, cook, secretary almost an all-around thingy. Well, it’s been almost a week now and he’s feeling a bit better now, I guess. He’d been confined to the hospital last Monday due to severe vertigo. I pretty much spent that entire four days at the hospital being his watcher since our Mom has work and our Dad pretty much took care of the house as well as the pets left at home. Anyway, I hope my bro would go on feeling much, much better very soon because he’s such a big pain in the ass! Seriously! How do I put this, well, he’s some heck of a patient since he loves to annoy me by ordering me around most especially now that he’s home, like “Zel, I’m hungry. Make me some chicken noodles”, Zel, I need to pee, get me to the CR”, Zel, I’m thirsty. I want some cold water.”, “Zel, give me my bed bath”, “My back hurts, give me a back rub”, and so on… And sheesh he’s always hungry! He’ll be asking for food even if he had just taken his meal a few minutes ago… And this guy’s really picky. Anyway, good thing my mom would cook some noodles for us, it kind of make me cool down. Gaah, I really don’t like taking of relatives that much. I don’t know, I somewhat lose my patience, since they would usually be teasing or annoying me. Or maybe it’s just because I haven’t been sleeping nor eating much for five straight days. Man, I’m pretty much grumpy… I’m glad that my bro knows when to back off with his being annoying.

Oh yeah, the Manila Summer Affiliation is the stuff 3rd year BSN students are required to do / pass in order to proceed to 4th year. Well, we travel all the way from Naga City in the Bicol region to Metro Manila to be exposed in different health/ medical related institutions such as the Philippine Orthopedic Center, National Center for Mental Health, San Juan De Dios Hospital, etc. We practically stayed in a hotel for about a month. Part of the affiliation was a tour in a historical site, the Corregidor Island. It was fun and quite interesting! I’d like to go back there and maybe do so ghost hunting too.

Aside from being busy with my bro, I’m pretty much caught up watching Death Note. Yeah, I’m my bro’s watcher who’s busy watching Death Note. Hehehe isn’t that what a watcher does — to watch? It’s quite interesting the story that is, only that umm… the protagonist (?), Yagami Light annoys me so much… I haven’t finished it yet. L is pretty much weird but is something… I pretty much don’t like the middle part of the story well, I’m quite interested in what will happen in the end so I’m still watching despite my annoyance with Light/ Kira.

Waaah, I’ve got only about 2 weeks left before classes start again! Man, this is so annoying… And I’m in my 4th year now, my how time flies by!

Well, I hope you guys are all well and pretty much enjoying their summer vacation.

P.S. I made a new wallpaper, this is totally way too different from the previous ones that I’ve made. I don’t know what happened. I guess I’ve lost my marbles… I think I’ve could have done better on this one but I just could do anything about it. >_< Anyways, I hope it still looks good enough.
