*shakes head*
Ah, and my family suceeds in being completely dysfunctional for the holidays. Dad doesn't know how to handle being laid off. I think he feels kind of useless or something, so he either sits in the dark living room alone or stomps around threatening to cut off our cell phones and cable because now we're "poor."

Hm. I didn't know being unemployed for two weeks depleted every last cent one ever made. Dad's practically got our cardboard box picked out and we haven't even been going anywhere to spend money! I'm STUCK in this house for days on end and it's maddening.

And being stuck with two people who can't seem to stand each other is beyond terrible. Maybe if Mom learned to TOLERATE Dad a little better...but, no. She'd rather stay furious all the time and make everything worse.

I feel like MVP down there, with Kane-chan standing over my broken and bruised body. T_T

Christmas was all right for me overall, though. No amount of parental animosity could ruin baby Jesus' birthday. Except I kind of had to leave the table when my family started talking politics. Both of my grandmothers are a bit, um, racist. And a bit overzealous in the religion department. I tend to avoid those conversations. I hate conflict.

Unless, you know, it's conflict like Kane-chan beating on someone. Then I like conflict.

   Merry Knishmas!
Merry Christmas, my friends. I hope you have a nice day however you celebrate. I will be having "dinner" (that is technically lunch) with my family, and spending time with my favorite firebender:

Zuko! Yes, I finally got the Book 3 box set and I LOVE the commentary!

Oh. And there is my other "firebender:"

You're right, Sparkle-chan. He is TOTALLY a Kane-chan. I'm sure he'd love to hear a 17 year old fangirl call him that if I ever get the honor of meeting him. ^^

Good tidings, everyone.

Life (or lack thereof)
We went grocery shopping yesterday, as per usual. Given that Christmas is so close, I guess all the lazy, last-minute people decided yesterday was The Day to go shopping, which resulted in just a slight case of chaos. Fortunately, I got to see the cute employee from either the Dairy or Frozen Foods section (I've seen him work in both areas. But I'm pretty sure he's FF.) His name is Daniel and he is really tall and skinny, my exact type AKA the "Stewart Copeland" type. He actually looked at me as I was staring at him. That's a step.

*sigh* Will I ever win the love of the grocery man? Only time will tell...

Otherwise, I didn't do anything yesterday aside from nursing a headache from lack of sleep and watching more Kane. Including RAW, which was an hour and 49 minutes of my life I'll never get back. Kane was on FIRST THING. He apologized to Kelly Kelly for thinking she was in love with him and swore she'll pay, and then he lost to HBK in the first 11 minutes. *growls* I was soooooo mad.

I don't plan on doing anything differently today. ECW is on tonight and, normally, I wouldn't watch it. But it's a special Best of 2008 episode and Kane happened to be champion of the brand earlier this year. So I have to watch it. ^^

   *shivers*
It's 6 AM as I type this, and I still haven't gone to bed. I know I shouldn't have stayed up, but I have a ridiculous amount of wrestling tapes to go through I decided to just get a chunk out of the way. Silly Sachiko.

It is so cold in this house! I can't imagine what it's like outside. Speaking of "house"...does anyone watch House M.D.? Hugh Laurie is quite a handsome man.

Or maybe I just have a thing for blue eyes...

Though, I assure you, Glen's right eye is not actually that cool. Contact lens. ):

   Kane and Other Junk
I cannot stop listening to "Decode" and "I Caught Myself" by Paramore from the Twilight soundtrack. I bought it for those songs and they are amazing. I know Paramore is my (second) favorite band and everything, but those songs are abnormally good.

And, no, I'm afraid I'm not much of a Twilight fan. I read the first three books and that was enough, thank you. ^^;

This house is driving me nuts. My dad just got laid off from the mill and he doesn't know how to handle it, so he stomps around like a jerk. Which makes my mom mad and therefore makes life for my brother and I less than pleasant. The mill will probably reopen sometime in January, for crying out loud, and we're getting UNEMPLOYMENT MONEY. Everyone needs to just chillax.

At least I have Kane. It is so hard to find pictures of him now, though, since the most amazing Kane fansite ever (ashranch.com) was killed about three years ago. T_T

There's always video, though. Like of Kane singing his favorite Christmas song.

   The Return
Well, here I am. I've been free from school since Thursday afternoon and slowly regaining my strength. I won't have an idea of how I did on my finals until I get a report card or something, but I already know I got a 60% on my advanced Physics final: exactly what I needed to keep a C in the class and get credit.

Merry Christmas, Drake & Josh was on at the beginning of the month. I'm afraid it didn't live up to expectations. But Joshy-mon was still very cute and very funny, so...*shurgs* We say farewell to D & J forever.

A rebirth to the Kane obsession occurred when I found out he had a 3-disc DVD release. Now I'm watching wrestling again. Not that I ever stopped liking it, I just jump from love to love in the most fickle way...

How could one go from this:

To this?

Easy. Because Kane came first, almost four years ago.

   Just dropping by...
It seems like everyone on MyO is busy and abandoning their sites until Winter Break. I feel like I have to do the same. ^^; I might be around once in awhile, anyway.

   Hi, Neighbor!
I don't know if I'll do much with my site right now. I like the purple and white. It's very simple and bright.

I wish life was simple and bright. ^^; But I suppose I don't have too much to complain about. We had a full week of school and I had a cold, of course, but the worst of it is over. I finished my homework yesterday, so I don't have anything I "have" to do for the next two days aside from write in the Avatar fanfiction and read All Quiet On the Western Front.

...I can't believe I don't have anything else to say. How did everyone's Halloween go? We ran out of candy in the first half hour because we only made about 40 bags. Where I live, it's usually all rainy and gross outside Halloween night, but this year it was a clear, beautiful Friday evening. So the excitement ended quickly here. I didn't dress up or anything. I haven't since I was 12, and I was Trunks from DBZ. :P

Life
Well, every essay and research paper has been completed to (almost) satisfaction. I could only stretch my research paper to seven pages instead of eight, and I hope my teacher doesn't rip my head off for it. ^^;

I am two episodes behind on Code Geass right now! I am going to just sit down and WATCH them, for crying out loud. Today is my free day and I am going to do everything I had to put off because of all the work I had to do.

We actually got out of the house yesterday. We went to the Golden Corral and Wal-Mart. The only things I got out of it all was some nail polish remover and a journal. XD I don't even want to move today. I think I'm getting my brother's cold. >_<

(Argh, there was no new episode of iCarly!!!)

Homework
My gosh. This research paper is so stupid. I hate trying to type eight pages about something I have no interest in. Has anyone who hasn't taken American History ever even heard of the Compromise of 1850?

I got my essay for English done on Wednesday. It was about In Cold Blood, but all three topics had very little to do with the actual book. Two involved capital punishment and the other was about a film we watched in class. I picked the third; I wanted to talk about the book, too, somehow.

After I finish my research paper, I still won't be done typing. ^^; I have to do another short story for the benefit of my English teacher. I want to write something that doesn't involve death for once. *sighs* This four and a half day weekend has been less than restful.

Back to work. Sachiko out.
