-_-

Well people, I’m sorry I haven’t been able to get to everyone’s sites lately…I’ve been lazy, and I have had the resources to do so…but Anywho, I want you guys to read this excerpt from the story of the Shinsengumi.

Commander Kondô [Isami] interrogated Furutaka himself, but the latter had come to Kyoto resolved to die if necessary, and he said nothing. Even when he was beaten until his back was in ribbons, he closed his eyes and gritted his teeth, losing consciousness before he would open his mouth. Vice-Commander Hijikata Toshizô, feeling utterly at a loss, contrived this and that and finally tied Furutaka's hands behind him and hung him upside down from a beam. Then he drove five-inch nails into the soles of his feet, planted a 100-monme [13-ounce] candle on each, and lit the candles. The wax quickly melted and dribbled slowly down from the soles of his feet to his calves. Even Furutaka, who had resolved to die, seemed unable to bear this cruel and unrelenting pain, and after suffering in agony for about a half hour, he finally opened his mouth and divulged his comrades' secret plan.

You guys recognize the name Hijikata Toshizo? He’s the madel for Aoshi from Rurouni Kenshin!! Yeah well that’s all for today, I’ll leave you with my Japanese word and a pic from Wild Adapter.

japanese word: toshi
meaning: year
this usually refers to age.

new theme!

Woot! i just chenged my theme again! Wild Adapter! the same creater as Saiyuki! yaya! i just can't keep the same theme for very long...anywho, do you guys like my bg music? it's from Araiso! ^__^ hope you like my new theme, and if you haven't noticed yet, it's a yaoi!

story:

Wild Adapter and Araiso (for short) both have the same chara in them, Kubota and Tokitoh. But both stories do not really connect in any other way... 'Wild Adapter' is lacking the hummer that seems to suffuse her other works, it skips into the dark underbelly of her story telling and doesn't really come out. This kind of dark story is enough to send any artist potty when drawing nothing but doom and gloom, I think that is why 'Araiso' was created. I assume Minekura liked the chara design but needed to put them into something more light hearted without touching on the original WA story... Or maybe Araiso is just what they do when ever they actually go to school?... Araiso, is the boy's running about in School as members of the Executive Student Committee, keeping the peace by beating the stuffing out or anyone causing trouble, as I said, more light hearted and easy going, though it doesn't touch on the Wild Adapter story, though they are the same people with the same personalities.

japanese word: Gaijin
meaning: Foreigner
you may hear this a lot if you go to Japan ^^;;

i went to the mall with RakuDa and she bought me stuff! yaya! well actually i plan on paying her back tomorrow but yeah...so anywho i got a Furuba poster and Spiral poster. i also got volume 4 of Spiral cause it was the closest to vol2...oh and so ya know me and RakuDa we laughing all around the mall at our laughing then we went the opposite way up an escelator, adn that was so tiring!

well a commenter suggested that i post a biography for the Spiral story so here ya go! ^^

Ayumu Narumi, a contemplative freshman at high school, finds his life changed when he is blamed for a girl's fall from a school building. Using only keen observation and his stunning talent for deductive logic, he soons figures out the truth behind the incident and clears himself, to the amazement of his Police detective sister and Kiyono Yuizaki, the enterprising Journalism Club president. That case proves to be the start of a strange rash of crimes that Ayumu learns is the doing of the mysterious Blade Children. Over the objections of his sister, he investigates these crimes with the help of Kiyono who has considerable guile of her own. Meanwhile, the Blade Children learn of their new opponent and set about to stop him in form of deadly logic puzzles that will take all of Ayumu's brilliance to thwart. All the while, he uncovers dark secrets about himself, The Children and his connection to them.

Eyes Rutherford

Series: Spiral

Age: 17

Notes: One of the mysterious "Blade Children", cool, collected, and an outstanding pianist. He is neither a clear-cut enemy or ally in this show. He is only 17, but you sure wouldn't know that by his actions!
