You slacker
The good news.

Alright guys... I know I'm really bad about keeping track of everyone T_T so, here's the deal. I'm really, really going to try and actually watch the people on my friends list and check out the community here and actually, you know, comment and stuff.

I love the community on this site, but it's the one I neglect the most. I'm gonna fix that, I swear.



The bad news.

Not really bad news, and it's not going to make much of a difference considering the amount of art I'm actually posting XP But I'm going on a sort of hiatus. I'm going to be focusing on art for school and for myself rather than fanart and such for now.

I've been burnt out for a while now T_T So I'm going to try and focus more on art for myself and see if that doesn't help.

I know none of that makes sense XP Point is, yeah, I'm totally burnt out creatively and have been for the past two months (or at least that's when I noticed). I need some me time T_T

T_T
Well, obviously, didn't make the deadline for the fanmanga contest. I gave up at around 11:57 since there was no way I could scan and letter all my pages in that amount of time.

I'm a bit depressed though T_T a friend helped me with it because I really wanted to try getting it done on time, so she inked half the pages and I inked half and I still didn't make it. The pages I drew the doujinshi on were just big enough that they didn't fit all the way on my scanner and needed to be scanned twice so there wasn't any distortion. I scanned pages for like ten minutes before I realized, yeah, I wasn't going to make it.

I may post it for the hell of it later, or just some of the drawings from it. If I were to finish it, I'd have to redo half the pages since the way I inked and my friend inked were pretty different.

Oh well.

The ones that did make it are pretty cute though. this is my favorite one!


Moving on!!

Anyone do anything fun for Halloween? I didn't, cause I was at home drawing XP But I did wear this awesome horrible ugly yellow/green plaid dress with PVC straps for the occasion. I wore a cape with it for a while, but I'm short and it was long so I kept stepping on it and eventually took it off XP

ZOMG PRODUCTIVE!
Yah, first page for contest doujinshi is done!

Should I post it as I finish pages, or wait until everything is finished and post at once? O_o;;;

On one hand, if I toss up the page I have I feel like it'll motivate me to really finish the rest...

On the other hand, I hate posting things unfinished XP


I actually really like the manga for the contest XD;; (Black Sun, Silver Moon). I went to use it for reference and ended up reading it again *laughs*

Rabu Rabu
No new art (but, if you noticed, I posted a sketch yesterday and just forgot to mention it *laughs*), but I just wanted to thank everyone for commenting of my stuff ^_^ It means a lot, guys~ I'm sorry I don't have time to thank anyone individually or check out everyone else's art T_T I've been crazy busy *weeps*


New assignment for my illustration class sounds awesome though~ We get to do a coloring book again ^__^ (if anyone remembers, I did the same thing last year for a different class... that image was the robot one. It's in my gallery, yo). Last time, the theme was "Into the woods" and this time the theme is "Fantastic Voyage"... sounds like fun! But it'll hopefully be a bit nicer than the stuff I've been posting, so I'll work hard on it!
