'Cause I'm just so cute.
So apparently I've managed to talk my mom into letting me cosplay at I-Con, a Sci-Fi convention. Yeah I know. Star Trek fans will still rule the runway, but I heared that there's a ton of anime followers there! I'm hopefully going as Larxene from Oganization XIII. (Kingdom Hearts 2) It's my first time cosplaying, so I'll be a bit lost, but I can't wait! It'll be so much fun! I am also kind of glad that it's not a serious anime con because I probably won't have to worry about not having the best costume there.
Is anyone actually going to I-Con? My mom is going as an artist and will have a booth so I won't be able to go anywhere with her. I was just wondering if anyone would be willing to show me the ropes...or at least if there's some advice out there.
My costume probably won't be too fussy. I'm buying a cloth Organization coat off of E-Bay which comes with black gloves (I know, I know, shame on me...Can't even stitch a straight line...) and I'm also buying black platform boots. 'Cause 4' 1'' does not an intimidating Nobody make! The only real problem is my hair. I'm NOT blonde, nor do I defy gravity. I've found a wig off of CoaWorx which would look great in a "Golden Yellow Blonde"...
Larxene Hair?
and would make a wonderful Namine wig in "Platinum Blonde"!
But I still have to make those weird antennae things! (Thought I could use the hair from the long side bangs, wires and SuperGlue?)

I did it. I finished "Kingdom Hearts 2".
"WHA?!? You didn't already finish it?" You say.
I've been procrastinating this whole time. I decided I was going to complete Jiminy's Journal! BUT! I HATE Sephiroth!!! He is waaaay too bad-ass for me!!! He fried me (to a tender crispy-ness only he can achieve) in less than 2 minutes each time I attempted to battle him. I just couldn't beat him. So I copped out.
Yes. Terrible.
I'm just going to have to play it again! Hee hee hee! (True motives shine through...) I refuse to go through what I did with the 1st "Kingdom Hearts". More than 2 years waiting for a continuation of a tragically heartwarming story is just too much for me. I was traumatized I tell you! I actually cried during the beginning sequence of the 2nd game! I repeat, traumatizing.
So this time, I'm smarter. I will just HAVE to play the game again for final completion! This should give enough stall time for Square Enix and Buena Vista to get their butts in gear and make the 3rd game, I will not have to wait for Sora to be under my control once again, and I won't have a breakdown in front of my family at Christmas! Happiness circulates and the world is at peace once again.

Beautiful ending though! I get teary-eyed when I think of poor Roxas. He was so cool. We probably won't ever see him again...*pout*
I'm happy with how he and Namine are a part of Sora and Kairi, though. I just wish they hadn't killed off Axel!!! He was my favorite character, and he wasn't all that bad! He just had his own agenda most of the time...Maybe he'll make a miracle return in 3. Yeah. He won't abandon me.
Look at him!
Burn, Baby, Burn!

*grin*

M'kay, I'll post more later! Leaf raking!!!
Viva la Axel,

Hee hee. I'm getting better at this HTML thing. Chibi-Blog (as I've now nicknamed this site) has bling. I found sooo many cool toys for it! Like the Inuyasha Charm at the top on the screen! (I also have a few that I can put up for good luck in various areas of our lives, but I'm trying not to get carried away.)

Anyway, it's supposed to get into the upper 50's this weekend so my mom and I have a bike trip planned for today or tomorrow. It should be fun. Not to mention it will get me off my duff and out in the wilderness. 'Cause I tend to become a sack-o-pototoes in the winter. I tend to prefere 80 to 90 degree weather, but as my mom puts it "58 is almost 60, which is almost 70, which is just 10 degrees away from 80!" I think the 6 degrees of separation should be used for comfort levels too...that however is not up to me.

For now, I am my own cheerleader. (It's an onigiri! Which is a rice ball by the way.)

   I fooled the system! Mwahahahahaha!!!
Ahem...

There are only a certain number of characters allowed in the introduction of this website, and with all the HTML required to make just the two itty-bitty music players...well, let's just say I was waaaaay over. BUT! I figured out that if you copy and paste the text/HTML you want to input and then don't touch anything else in that box, they let you keep the characters!
Good for me. Good for you. Music for all.
I'm still procrastinating! I have to go to Photobucket for picture hosting goodness!

Let procrastinators around the world wait a little longer!

   Come my way...
I have somehow managed to embed a different player (besides the MIDI files thang that is already set up) so I can easily play real songs. I suppose that takes care of the problem I was having before with my purist mind not liking the weird computer MIDI music.
Right now, I only have "Come", that awesome techno song from Inuyasha. I hope to also get the beginning of Kingdom Hearts II ("Passion" I think), "Real Emotion" from FFX2, and some Gackt/L'Arc~en~Ciel.
If anyone has a song they think I should put up, drop me a line and I'll see if I can find it! ^_^

In other news, I have no school today! I am thankful for tryptophan. Everyone is too tired after Thanksgiving to do anything. So that's good for me, eh? [:

Now I'm off to Photobucket! I have pictures I took on my trip to Costa Rica that I want to show off!

   Bictoly!!!
Yay! My first post! It took forver to modify this thing. I am not a techie! ;_; I still can't find a site that offers MIDI files for blogs that are real music! Help!
Happy Thanksgiving, by the way! My family had a small celebration, but a tasty one. It's just hard for my grandmother to grasp that I'm a vegetarian and, no, I would not like to have some turkey, much less help stuff it. My math teacher actually adopts a turkeys this time of year and pays for it not to be killed. I'm not even kidding. I want to do it next year! :)
Sorry, short post. Hopefully I'll be able to insert some of my pictures next time so my photography claims won't go to waste. ^_^
