My computer is being slow today… Anyways!
Sorry for not updating… once again. I would have updated this morning, but I had to leave early to do my TAKS retake. Oh man, did it suck. The reading selection this time was all right – the questions were easy, and the same goes for the section where we had to edit and correct sentences. I swear, they repeat those each and every year with the same stuff.
And even though it is illegal to speak of the TAKS test material, who cares? What are they gonna do to me? The prompt this time was "describe how you can feel at home wherever you are". Give me a fucking break for once in your damned, miserable lives!
Sorry for the cursing, but sheesh. Can they not come up with something that is not a persona question for once?! My answer most likely won't pass me this time either. I told them that I was unable to properly answer the question because I cannot feel at home wherever I am. The only place where I feel like I belong, and is an actual specific location, is San Francisco.
At least I babbled on about how Texas was not my home, and how unlike others, I connect more to the land of the place I call home rather than the people of that place. I really, really, really want a current events topic on this thing. A yes or no answer, or if they wanted to ask questions like that, something that would make me think!
And something where I don't have to show them my soul! It's my soul and I don't wanna share it with total strangers who have no business reading or knowing such things about me, a person whom they will never meet! You should not be graded on stuff like that! Especially with a prompt like, "describe a conflict you have dealt with,". I'm sorry, but the ones that I have are a bit too personal to even really describe on here with people I trust.
[hugs]
Sorry for the rant. To get onto happier things, Monday was all right. I survived Ordinary Girl! There are only four kids (Olivia, Charlie, Reed and Phillip), and one other teacher, so it isn't as insane as it was last year. We played some games, let them go outside, play with some balls in the gym, we had some snacks… and we're going to do some other stuff today as well. Um… other than that, I spent a lot more time reading fanfics, doing some writing and drawing, emailing and not working on my homework.
Remind me to start on that again later today.
Hope you all have had good days! I will comment on everyone's sites later on tomorrow or this evening, but we'll have to see. Tons of people updated today…

hiddengoldeneyes: Aw, thanks. I'm glad it did. ^^ That movie is scary… I don't know how I stood it the first time I watched it. No time isn't that much fun… I hope you get some free time soon! I'm on summer break, so that explains that. You have a nice day as well!
Hearts Mind: [laughs] Yeah, I had fun – it was good to be with friends. And lucky – horror movies make me jump most of the time. As for the game… her mother made it up. And yes, my friend throws awesome parties. Have a good day!
Ordinary Girl: They made you do that? Oh, that is so evil. I hated that game as well… I could never think of good dares or truths to ask. But yeah, I could never pretend to be asleep. I wake up too easily. XD And no worries, they won't eat me alive. See, I survived!
jen anime 101: Yup; I'm gonna have another on Saturday with another friend. Just her and me over at my house.
Knight Edge: Yeah, and I should see if I can get a picture of that for you all. He shouldn't mind… And ok; that's what the difference is.
Dark Forever: But usually I like horror movies… So that was weird for me. Anyways, see you later and have a good day!
Furry Chibi: Yup. ^^ Well, it depends on the people you are with and what you do. In my case, a lot of close and very insane friends. Thanks and see you later!

Hey everyone.
Sorry that I haven't been on – on the seventh, I went to my friend Connie's birthday party and that turned into a sleepover. But I have to make this quick, but I will explain that in a bit.
During the party, I had a blast – a lot of friends came, so it was good to see all of them and hang out. The theme was to dress like a two year old would – "Look mommy, I dressed myself!" – and one friend dressed in drag, and really looked like a girl. A lot of us squeed over him, including Connie and Ashley's moms.
We had a DDR tournament, and I sucked at it (of course) and got knocked out in the first round. My friends Ashley, Kim and Connie were awesome at it. We also had cake and ice cream, and played this game where you had to transfer lifesavers down a line via toothpicks in your mouth. And it has to go boy, girl, boy, girl.
My team one, but only because Ashley was smart enough to put us in descending order when it came to height. We had cake and ice cream, goofed off and watched a bit of The Ring 2 (I chickened out and went to hang with Connie). Around 10:00 people started to leave because of bedtimes, and soon, it turned into a sleepover between Connie, a new friend, Brittany and me. I had fun there too, reading yaoi manga, talking to them until 4:30 AM, reading more manga and watching stuff on YouTube.
We didn't get up until eleven, ate pancakes for lunch, and repeated last night. Thunder started coming, and my mom called me around 3:10 to see if I would come home anytime today. So I said 3:30 – and my dad came and picked me up ten minutes early. So, there were a lot of hugs and see you laters before I came home.
I then took a shower, skipped lunch, went online and did some stuff… chores, dinner… the normal stuff that I do at that time of the day, before going to bed around 11:20.
But as for what I have to explain – I am going to be working at my church (volunteer, not community service; don't know what the difference is, if there is one) helping to take care of the three and four year olds. So I will be tired and updating later in the day than normal. Wish me luck everyone and hope I survive!
See you all later. I will try to comment when I get back home, so have good days everyone!

Hearts Mind: It did at first, but I haven't watched too much - so I am not sure what happens in it. Just part of the first episode. So we will have to see, ne? And the link doesn't work? It worked for me... Good luck on your homework!
DJaganshi: Eek! [laughs] And yay, a new reader! :) I will give you a link via PM sometime. And of course I will get my homework done sometime. Maybe after lunch for these next weeks, as I will be in a working mood. And it's all right; I'll just stick with this one for now.
InuKagLover815: I have heard of that place - they need to get more content on it. But I am sure that spreading the word will help! Maybe I should post Gravitation up there...
Lucifer's Wife: Oh, my friends and I spent a good hour on that. One of the videos was "How to be Emo". And thanks. ^^ I will post a link to that drabble series next post. Take care!

Hey everyone.
Just wanted to do a little update here. :) Nothing much is going on – except that I am watching my first Japanese drama: My Boss, My Hero. Hugs for Just Munky for mentioning it on her post today! I was able to find it on YouTube and I have fallen in love with it on the second part of the first episode. So good, and I just want to hug the main character. XD
Oh yeah, I am currently doing these projects:
Writing an Itachi/Kyuubi fanfic
Writing 30 SasuNaru drabbles
Making an interesting blog on Vox
Finishing up my homework
I need to sort out some things over the net, as to where I am and what I really want to do. But don't worry, I will stay on MyOtaku of course! My third year anniversary is coming up soon. This new blog of mine will be… something different. I might act a bit more distant and pessimistic on there, but you never know.
I wish I could edit the layout more than I can on there… I got the top banner to look decent at least. Maybe I should go with a black theme…
And speaking of layouts, could anyone help me with mine? I want to change it to this or something like it. Thankies!
Well everyone, that's it for now. See you all later!

Hearts Mind: I would love to send some rain to you if you need it. Really, we've been getting a bit too much. Bugs have been multiplying and I have been suffering with all of these itches of mine… And I am glad to know that someone else thinks along the same lines I do when it comes to love. I'll keep your advice in mind, and if I do tell him someday, I hope it turns out well. As for seeing movies all the time… I guess that is true. XD And no worries, I love long comments! They're so much fun to reply back to.
Lucifer's Wife: Aw, thankies! [hugs] And now, I am blushing a bit… hardly ever does anyone mention "cute" and "me" in the same sentence. Or "love" for that matter… And I know what you mean. Oh, if only I had enough courage! Buggers, me and my cowardly ways. Hanging out with friends is fun, but I enjoy reading and computer time too. I do that a lot. :) You have a nice day too!

Hey everyone. [hugs] I am covering three days in this post, so I'll try to keep it as sane and short as possible. And hopefully I won't ramble too much! XP (I doubt it though…)
[TUESDAY]
Tuesday was pretty good – woke up around 8:40 (early for once!) and got a lot of reading and HTML stuff done, all though I need to get back onto my summer project before my library books are due… [18th, remember 18th] I did chores and what not, and loved the quietness of the house without my brother being there. My mom and dad headed off around 1:30 to get a new barbeque because our old one (which we have had since before I was born, I think) finally broke.
So, they were gone for a while, and that kinda made me nervous as it neared 4:00, because that is what time my mom and I decided that we needed to leave to drop me off at the movie theater to meet up with James. I got there on time, so no worries about that. James was kind of late, as his car was giving him problems, and it was kind of funny how he kept apologizing. But I told him it was ok, and it was. Car problems – they happen. Same with lateness, even though we both dislike being late. The movie we watched was 1408 and man, it was good.
If you like horror movies that are more physiological than bloody and grotesque, then go see this one. It's based off a book by Stephen King (before he became famous) and I hope to check it out next time I head to the library. But still – some parts made me jump and gasp, and clutch onto James [giggles at my wimpiness]. I don't think he minded much… :) We also held hands during the last part of the movie, partly because it was getting scarier, and partly because he started cracking his wrist and such, and so, I held his hand to stop it.
My brother cracks his joints all the time to bother us, and I guess it was just that programmed "ink" that made me do that. But I am not going to comment on it next time, as he said his hands hurt if he doesn't. I feel bad about that…
All in all, it was a good day. I really wish I could see James more often, but our lives get in the way sometimes. I'm sure this happens often with other people, so I am not going to complain much. And I have to admit that I have been thinking a lot about my relationship with him, and I'll be honest: I want to be more than just best friends. But that's the thing – there are two people here, and I don't know how he feels about all of this. So, I am going to wait and see, and either way, if we remain friends in the end, I will be happy.
I really, really don't deserve a friend like him… I don't recall if I have ever written this before (and I am too lazy to go and look), but I doubt that I will ever find a person outside of my family whom I like being with as much as him, or love, as him. Of course, loving and liking to be with your family usually is a given, so I guess that doesn't count. And I would gush like any other girl in love about all the things I like about him, but I believe that if you can easily list off the things that you like about someone, then you are only focusing on that and not the whole person.
And ignoring parts of a person isn't going to make them go away. With people, and I think someone out there will agree with me, you have to take all of them or nothing at all – because no real relationship with anyone or thing is built upon only good things.
Ok, I'll get off the soapbox now… ^^;
[YESTERDAY]
I woke up late yesterday, and so, I got up and ate a quick breakfast, got dressed and spent some time reading fanfics and working on some site stuff for Reverie before my mom and I left to go to the store and to drop me off at my friend's house to go to the movies and hang out. She and her family woke up late as well, so we decided to go to a later showing of the movie. I then hung out with her and her family (huge one due to stepparents and such on both sides), which was fun.
We then went to Vista Ridge Mall and watched Evan Almighty – and it was such a good film! And like I said, it was fun to hang out with them. Kayla, my friend, is just awesome. Out of our group of friends, we are the least insane. Her sister Taylor was over as well, and she's fun too. She likes to be sarcastic and say random things, and loves to play videogames. Kayla's stepmother's cousin (she's just called a cousin) Katie was over too, and for a ten year old, she's pretty tall. Kit-kat looks like a dwarf compared to her!
As for Kayla's stepmother and father, they're really nice. She and I think our dad's are twins or something of the like, because from what we have told each other, they are really similar. They were even in the Navy and good with computers, etc.!
Time flew by and they invited me for dinner. My family went to see the fireworks and such, but it was ok. Time flew by again, and around 10:00 PM I left, having to go into my house via the garage, as I only know the code into the house and don't have a key. It was a while before my family got home (terrible traffic) and we chatted a bit before I did the dishes, and slunk back to my room to spend a few more hours reading fanfics and doing more HTML.
[TODAY]
I woke up kind of late (around 10:00) and ate some breakfast, dealt with my cats being annoying, it rained, I spent a lot of time on Neopets, finished Beowulf, and typed this. It's also raining, and while I love it, I think we have enough rain. Seriously, it's been ten days in a row of rain. Other than that, not much has happened today.
Sorry for the long post, I did try to keep it short… but failed, as usual. XP Hope you all have a good day; see you all soon! I will be visiting later on today, so no worries about that.
[hugs]

XKitsukoX: I know. It happens pretty often, so I am kind of used to it, but still. [hugs] It's good to see you again!
HardLuckWoman: Aw, thanks. :) [hugs back]
Hearts Mind: ^^ It's all right; I haven't commented on your site in a while either… No worries about reading the insanely long post. I think it might kill someone. Sodium deficiency isn't it… I like my salty foods. But I think it's just a bug I keep getting. [hugs] See you soon, and thanks for commenting!
Knights Edge: Yeah… like I said in a previous comment, it bites. But I am used to it. Being sick is never fun – thank God for my immune system.

Hello all.
Sorry I haven't updated in a while…
This weekend was average, except for yesterday afternoon. I got sick all of the sudden – at first, I was fine. And then – bam! Cramps, nausea, going to the bathroom over and over again, and dizziness. I was lucky to have been able to eat dinner and do the dishes, because I went to bed after that, around 8:45 (yeah, we have late dinners). I couldn't sleep for the longest time, and woke up around 12:45.
As I couldn't sleep, I decided to read, until about three. And then I woke shortly before five-thirty, my stomach hurting, and so I ate a danish and read some more, before sleeping with the heating pad until about 10:25 when my cat, Sabrina, came in and slept curled next to my stomach until shortly before eleven when I couldn't sleep anymore.
After that, I got dressed, sorted out my room (which was in a mess, due to my brain not working at all for the longest time) and went online to answer emails and such.
Good thing I got better so soon, because I plan to go see "1408" tomorrow with James (horror movie, yay!) and then go to a friend's house on Wednesday, and go to another friend's birthday party on Saturday. So I am going to have to get a present for her before Saturday sometime. Good thing she likes art stuff, manga, and cute/shiny things.
Or she said that gift cards were perfectly all right too.
So everyone, I am going to go back and see what I can get done. I need to update Amaagari so badly… T_T and so much other stuff too… So wish me luck! XD

Hey everyone.
Sorry for my lack of presence on here; I have been doing other stuff, but there hasn't been much to really write about. Sorry that I didn't get up any pictures for my vacation post; I'll get them up sometime when I am done resizing them and all that.
Basically I have been working on my summer projects (if I do seven chapters a day for Pride and Prejudice, and 25 pages a day for Beowulf, I'll be done in a week), rewriting fanfics and putting them up, planning a remodeling for Reverie, and trying to recode some of the layouts that are on Amaagari and do some other updates – like music, and two new sections.
So far, all of it has been going pretty well.
I think today is going to be really productive for me – my brother has gone for Day Camp at Boy Scouts, and so he will be gone for a while. The only thing that is bugging me is that I cannot reach the guy who is taking care of Rusty (remember the snake with the broken back?) so we can switch off, now that I'm back home. I've called about three times in two days. I keep getting this weird message, and I am not even sure if his answering machine even works.
But I am going to a friend's birthday party on the seventh, so that will be fun!
So that's basically it. I'll get back into my posting norm soon enough. Until then, see you all later and I hope you have good days!

WARNING: SUPER LONG POST AHEAD!
Hey everyone!
I am back from my vacation, and I have missed you all so much! I hope nothing too exciting happened, or I am going to be more clueless than I usually am [laughs]. It was a pretty good trip overall, and I am glad that I wrote down all of the stuff my family and I did each day. Most of the time on vacation, I can hardly remember highlights and such, even the humorous events. Well, so this post doesn’t become even longer than it’s going to be, here’s what happened:
Tuesday –
We all got up at 2:00 AM so we could hit the road and be long out of the way of the commute traffic before it hit. I slept from about the time we got into the car to about 5:41 before I was in that state between sleep and awake I am sure a lot of you know about. It was during that time that we met some rain, and I massaged my mom’s neck and shoulders (barometric pressure headache as usual) while I was half asleep. I got a bit wet when we took a bathroom break at a gas station too.
We ate breakfast sometime around 8:00 AM and made it to New Mexico by the afternoon. Really, the weather wasn’t as bad as it was in past years on past trips. The sun was shining, there weren’t too many clouds, but the weather didn’t get above 89 degrees (F) until we reached California. We found this nice rest stop in New Mexico for lunch, and like she always does on road trips no matter what we do to prevent it, Kathryn puked. I was the only once who noticed, but I have to admit that it wasn’t gross to hold back her hair and try to get her onto some grass instead of the sidewalk.
Surprisingly, Justin and Brianna got along for the most part, despite being stuck into the back of the van because Kathryn needed a seat by a door incase she puked once more, and I was the only other kid who is capable of doing something if she did. Maybe those two will finally get along and not tear out each other’s throats someday… Not. They were arguing later on in the trip. We got to Arizona by the evening.
Wednesday –
Arizona was really pretty, and the weather was still quite nice. We made pretty good time, until about mid-afternoon, when our tire blew (we were in the Central Valley by then). First time that ever happened to me that I can remember! But my mom was able to drive us to an overpass, where we got some shade, while my dad fixed the tire with the spare we had. The tire’s side was completely torn some how… my mom didn’t recall running over anything, and the cars in front of us didn’t dodge anything either. So that was weird. Because of that, the rest of the trip took a little bit longer than originally, as you are only supposed to go 55 – 60 mph on a spare. But it was ok – not much else happened, as far as I know, as I decided to sleep for the rest of the trip. We made it to the San Francisco area around 4:00 – 5:00 PM and got to my grandparent’s place by 6:00 or a bit later.
It was so awesome to be “home” once more! Seriously, I missed San Francisco – the Bay Area, the Golden Gate Bridge, the hills and cable cars, the fog and awesome cool weather. And I missed my relatives out here of course. I rarely see them – but we didn’t do much else than besides sleep and talk. We were a day ahead despite everything, so that was cool.
Thursday –
We didn’t do much than besides hang around the house, changed our clothes and got organized, talked and laughed about all sorts of random things (we always seem to do that with relatives) and run some errands. I went with my dad and grandfather (whom I call Papa) to get our tire changed, and I wish I had some more room in my schedule to take Auto Repair over at Dale Jackson, the career center that is a few blocks from my house. Rest of the day was spent doing homework, reading, and helping around. Kathryn was really active, liking to go outside all the time. Already the neighbors know her due to how she has absolutely no fear of strangers. Or anyone for that matter. XD
Friday –
We didn’t do much today either, but I kept myself entertained with my books, writing, and a good power walk that morning after breakfast. I got lost after I started heading back, despite the fact that I kept walking in a straight line, but I found my way once again after a while. It was after I got home that I found out that my Aunt Mary had come for a visit – it was good to see her once more. Everyone just talked for hours; we tend to do that on visits. My family and I then went to “In and Out Burgers” for lunch before we went clothes hunting. For those who don’t know what I am talking about, “In and Out Burgers” is a fast food place, but not like McDonalds or Burger King at all.
They make the food fast, but due to that, none of the food can be frozen or premade – so there is no time to do all of the icky stuff everyone else does.
The store we went to was Mervyns's; the place pulled out of Texas for some reason, and my mom loved it because it had all sorts of clothes and things for everyone in our family at decent prices. My brother and I needed new pants (him because his were duct taped over and over again; me because mine kept falling off me), and my mom needed some new underwear. While we were there, my dad got some new shorts and we tried to get swimsuits for Brianna and Kathryn, but found nothing in their sizes.
Later on in the evening (after reading more, chores, helping with dinner and such), my Aunt’s (Mary) boyfriend came over. And it was cool to see him – she has been seeing him for about six years now, and after three other marriages, I think that it’s a good idea to go slow. But he’s like her best friend and he seems like a good guy to me. I didn’t get any bad vibes from him at all – does anyone else here get those when they meet someone? He also got along well with Kathryn, and that’s proof enough for me. So I’m not worried.
Saturday –
Saturday was pretty busy – we all had to wake up early so we could clean and stuff, as more relatives were coming over for my grandparent’s 50th Anniversary. Can you believe that they have been married for half a century? I am more used to the idea of people getting divorced than that, which is kind of sad, if you think about it. The relatives that came over were my Great-Aunt Joan, My Great-Uncle Mike (my grandmother’s sister and her husband), My Great-Uncle Jim and Great-Aunt Gale (my grandmother’s brother and his wife). I don’t recall Jim and Gale, as the last time they saw me was when I was little. But they it was still awesome to see them! Aunt Mary and Erick came back as well.
Around 1:30 my family and I got dressed up so we could go to lunch at this place called The Wild Fox – the place has some pretty good food; I didn’t even need butter for my potatoes if you can imagine that! Their desserts and coffee were good as well, and we spent a good three hours there talking, eating, joking, laughing, and for my siblings and I, switching seats. After getting home, we talked and my siblings and I watched “Gargoyles: The Movie” after finding it within the videos my other Aunt, Aunt Jackie, had. I loved that show when I was little, and still do – so I am going to have to see if I can find the series on DVD somewhere. I went to bed kind of late, watching the latest baseball game and reading some more.
Sunday –
Once again, we woke up early, but this time, to eat breakfast at IHOP. Breakfast was pretty nice, as none of us really misbehaved. I had this stuffed French toast, and it was pretty good. If only you could taste the cream cheese filling a bit more, and there was more of the stuff! It was around 11:30 when we left, but it was all right. We all waved bye to Aunt Mary and Erick, as they hit the road afterwards to head back to Washington, where they live. I might see if I can go up there sometime… The weather is supposed to be even nicer than California weather, and that is something.
Errands were run later on, and as one of them, my mom, grandmother and I left for Costco’s, the equivalent of Sam’s Club, if anyone has heard of that place. It’s basically like any other store, but you get stuff at lower prices because they’re straight from the warehouse and the middleman is cut. We didn’t get anything except for some books – I read mine by 6:30, and it was an awesome book called, “The Blood of Flowers”. It was set in Medieval Iraq, and I could not put it down! The characters were so amazing, there was so much detail and attention put into everything! But note, it’s somewhat PG-13, so if you aren’t mature enough or haven’t been told of the birds and the bees, you might not want to read it. But there aren’t any gory details though, so don’t think I’m reading porn. Ick.
Monday –
Today, I wrote a lot, and it was kind of weird being looked at for it. You should have heard all the exclaims of surprise from yesterday when I finished my other book. We went to Stinson Beach around 10:00, and I am thankful for my CD player because it was a long drive. We even got lost for a while, but we hadn’t been to it for a few years, so you can’t blame us for not remembering it exactly. It was wonderful weather once more – sunny, but not overly so due to the fog off of the bay, and there was a good breeze as well. We didn’t find that many shells or sand dollars like we usually do, but I found some cool stones and saw a crab. Kathryn got dunked in the water though, and it was so pitiful how she shivered and made a show of how cold she was. I don’t blame her though – it took me a while to get used to the water once more. But it’s so much fun! After lunch and cleaning off, we went to this candy store and got some candy – and saw a 20-foot nutcracker. I didn’t get much, but hoped we would go back there again to get some more of this coffee flavored candy bar that I found.
And there is this other candy store that is super old, but makes all of that good classic old fashioned candy most of our parents can only remember and we can only dream of. I also wanted to see if I could get any candy for some of my friends.
Tuesday –
We went to the San Francisco Zoo today, and it was so awesome seeing the inner parts of the city! The houses, despite the fact that there were no lawns and such, we so cool. A lot of them were painted in tans, light blues and greens, but we got the occasional plum color, bright and dark pinks and other stuff. The zoo itself was awesome. We wanted to see the penguin’s being fed, but we finished seeing the zoo long before it was going to happen. There weren’t many of the gorillas or other monkeys out due to renovations, and they were trying to breed some of the gorillas as well. We saw some of the lions and tigers, but the Cat House was being renovated as well, so most of them were somewhere else.
We got souvenirs as well, and mine were a purple beanbag snake and a black coffee mug.
Earlier, my brother acted like a total jerk and tried to hit me, but I successfully put him off until he got smart and used the remote to smack against my head. I really hate him and the attitude he gets sometimes – it’s like he thinks that he’s better than me, and smarter than me, despite his history of low grades and he flunked French I with the easiest French teacher you will ever know. So, I am just going to have to work hard and rub all the good grades I know I’ll get in his face next year.
Wednesday –
Today we didn’t do much of anything. Or the bulk of the family. I stole some of my mom’s books and one of my grandmother’s and read them before the night was over. My mom was kind of peeved about that [laughs]. My mom and I also went back to Mervyns's to get a new sweat jacket for me, and some new shirts as well. It was fun just to hang out with her – she got some new shirts as well, and to and from there, we listened and sang to Meatloaf – the CD being “Bat out of Hell”. I love their songs – they’re all at least nine minutes long, but they are so entertaining! The both of us also got some new pajamas, but it took us a while before we found anything – half the stuff was either the wrong size, or see through, and my mom and I refuse to wear anything see through.
I was then forced to bed around 12:30 or so.
Thursday –
We all slept into about 8:30, in which Kathryn woke up after my grandparents for once, and then I came, followed by my father, then Brianna and Justin, and lastly, my mom. I helped my grandmother make waffles, and they came out pretty good. We then kinda lazed about until 10:00 before my mom hauled us all off to Muir Woods – we have been trying to get there for years, but never could, due to the limited parking. But we finally got so in and it was just… awing. All of the trees were so huge, and the plant life was just too cool not to ogle at for every second it was worth. The hike was a good one, but not too tough, and Kathryn led the whole way. My mom got a lot of pictures from it, and you can see them under the picture section that is after all of this. It was a lot of fun to see all of the redwoods and the other plant life that was there. We didn’t see much wild life than besides some lady bugs – but there were a couple hundred of them all along this fence and some fallen logs, so that was cool.
My dad also pointed out to us some French tourists who were in front of us – I followed them for a while and listened in onto them to see if I could understand what they were saying. For the most part, I could. They spoke a bit slower than what I have heard other French-speakers speak, so I think they were from the Montreal area, if not the city itself. Of course, I lost them when my dad alerted me that I was fifty or sixty feet ahead of everyone else. XD We spent about three or so hours hiking, drove home and ate a late lunch at In and Out Burgers once more and stayed home for the rest of the night.
Friday –
All though I wanted to go and see Chinatown, it was too expensive and would be too much of a hassle to do so, so maybe we’ll go another year. Instead, we went to Sonoma-Marin County Fair out in Petaluma, and it was fun for the most part. Early on before the rides and such were open, there wasn’t much to see aside from the animals – and while it was neat to see a miniature horse and some other stuff, I was not impressed too much. However, the galleries were something else! I saw this one oil painting on a canvas by this sixteen-year-old girl that received best of show – and my mom commented that I could do better.
Seriously, I could not – I am not good at drawing humans life-like, and am a lot better at watercolors and landscapes. I rarely am able to draw a human without difficulty or with the quality that I want it to be. Not to mention this girl paid such attention to detail, and did a fabulous job on portraying emotion and light. The shading alone was amazing, and all of the details of the wheat field they were in! Still, my mom made it seem like she held my talents above all others, despite what I said. So that kind of ticked me off for a while, but we eventually got onto the rides and that was a blast.
We went onto the ones that would spin your car around one way, while the plat form you were on spun the other way, and the platform it was on spun the other way once more. Another one was based on centripetal force, and pressed you against the sides. Kathryn was dizzy after that one! There was another that you sit in a seat and it spins around in the air, and while we were waiting for it to start, my brother discovered that we could bump one another. So, he bumps Brianna who was in front of him, and knocked him into me, causing me to knock into my dad who was behind me and hurting his knee. It wasn’t that bad and was something we could laugh at.
Starbucks also had a booth where they gave out these free date cookies and their orange crème frappuchinos – we hit that about four or five times though out the day. There was also an anime booth, and I wish I had some more money so I could get one of the CDs or something. I could afford some of the fans they had there, but they were cheep and I could find a better deal online. The plushies they had were cute too, but once again, better deals could be found else where. Same with the Naruto forehead protectors they had as well. So it wasn’t too much of a loss.
We got back home around 4:00 and while my mom and grandmother went out shopping once more (using Justin as their “personal slave”), my sisters watched TV and colored, I read and listened to my music, and my grandfather and dad took naps. We then had leftovers and such for dinner, and after I was done, I came to write this. Not much else happened for the rest of the night, all though, I have to comment that my grandparents need some more books. I’ve read all the ones that seemed interesting to me. :)
Tomorrow we’re not going to be doing much, other than packing. But you never know, so I’ll end this day…
Saturday –
Saturday was filled with finding and packing things, going over finances, and for us kids – watching movies, reading books and for me, trying not to go insane over my sibling's behavior. We watched some classic movies – Beauty and the Beast, The Great Mouse Detective, etc. We all went to bed early, and I was pretty miserable on the floor as Brianna greedily took the couch and only available blanket. We left around 1:00 after saying good-byes and all.
The following day began (for me) when my dad started to get a bit sleepy from driving all night and started to ride into the shoulder of the highway. Thankfully there were ridges that woke him up and prevented a car crash. We had breakfast at McDonalds and most of the day was spent somewhat quietly. Unless you count my brother cursing at my sisters and I in McDonalds, me hitting him for it and then him punching me quiet.
The punch really didn't hurt, and the bruise I got was the size of a pencil eraser because that's where his knuckle hit me.
We had dinner at Denny's and slept for a while at Motel 6 where my mom, dad and I took a shower (separately) and we caught The Pacifier and MIB II. Denny's Asian Chicken Salad is pretty good – I wish I had more candied pecans though. I couldn't sleep much due to everyone's snoring… XP
Sunday –
We left the hotel at one in the morning, and got out of there in a record of 18 minutes. This day was a lot better than yesterday, except for the situation for breakfast. We stopped at McDonalds once more, but there was a line of 30+ people in some sort of bus tour thing, or maybe a competition. And only one register was open. So we left that place and went to Loves and they didn't have syrup for their French Dippers – so we left that and got some junk food for breakfast – you know, the Little Debbie's donuts and such – from the gift store next door.
I got a raspberry and cream cheese danish, and it was pretty good. The coffee they had at the gift store was pretty good too.
Until we got into the Decater/Denton area, it was pretty quiet. I spent a lot of time thinking, listening to music and sleeping. Then, a few miles out of Decater, we were hit with a hard rainstorm, and that was scary – the exit to Denton from there nearly killed us. But we made it home in one piece with Little Caesar's for dinner. My brother went to Boy Scouts, so it was just my mom, sisters and I at home with the cats.
We unpacked, cleaned and got situated once more. Next time – I am leaving specific instructions for watering my plants. Really – who floods a cactus?! I am lucky if none of my plants develop root rot. The cats took a while to get used to us again, but Sabrina came and bugged me for my window, as she always does, just fine.
Monday to Wednesday –
Sleeping. Cleaning. Typing like insane. Emailing. Catching up on online stuff. Working on some major updates for Amaagari. Updating my fanfics.

DJaganshi: [hugs] I missed you too – I did have fun on the trip, and except for a few things, I was pretty careful about being safe. ^^ Congrats!
Angel Kenshin: Yeah, it has. I hope you didn't mind the huge post… I know it has or will scare some people who come here. You take care too!
Otemba: No trip to my home would be complete without a trip to the beach! It's our tradition to collect seashells, and for the last two times, I have always found shells with mother of pearl in them. I think it's because I like to collect stones and always go for the dark ones… XD And I've been to Disneyland – so much fun. But it costs too much for all of us to go.
Ordinary Girl: Oh, it's been so long since I have heard from you! Where have you been girl? XD As you could tell, I went to the San Francisco area. Marin Country to be exact. And I did take pictures – the crooked ones of my family are the ones I took. All others were by my mom and dad. Or some other family members. You think like my mom when it comes to packing then – but it's always a good idea to be ready early just in case.

I just needed to tell you all that I won't be here from after this post to about the 30th of June - maybe the first, depending on when we get back.
[hugs everyone]
I will miss you sooooo much while I am gone! Don't worry, I will hopefully have a lot of pictures and stuff to tell when I come back. So there will be a major post there... ^^;
Thank you all so much for commenting, visiting, being there for me, all of the laughs and good times and just everything else.

Hey everyone!
How's it going? I had a pretty good day actually; Mondays tend to suck for me. It started off as an ordinary day for the most part – I was kind of worrying because I hadn't gotten an email or call from James about the movies. I am so terrible at planning stuff. XP So, I basically worried, fidgeted, kept my cell phone on and my email open for most of the morning, until I got annoyed with myself and went out for a jog to get rid of some stress.
It felt good to run again, mostly because for me, pushing myself to a physical limit always helps me with my emotions (I am so out of shape). And I am pretty thankful for this part/trail thing we have a few blocks away from my house. Basically it is a half mile trail that goes through some woods for part of it, and this morning there was no one there but me. Total bliss! I am going to have to do that tomorrow…
If it's not raining as hard as it is now.
But thankfully, I got an email from him around 12:40 and so we kinda finalized things. I was a bit early, and I ran into a friend of mine who works at the theater while I waited for James. It was fun talking to her again. :) The movie we saw was POTC3 and it is just so awesome! I love all of the details, amazing computer graphics, humor and action!
Favorite quote:
Barbosa: "He's a pirate lord! You have no right!"
Elizabeth: "King!"
And now, I have just been reading web comics, tutoring my sister a bit on how to do the dishes, watching lightning and listening to some new music. And now, the huge peals of thunder. ^^ I love thunderstorms so much – no wonder I had a headache earlier.
So… I guess that is all that has been going on lately. Tomorrow I am having at least one friend coming over; I hope I get some replies from my other friends whom I've invited to come over some time. This summer, I am really going to get to my goals (look to previous posts for them) no matter what.
Well, I'm gonna see if anyone else has updated today and comment – I hope you all have good days! See you soon!

Knights Edge: [laughs] Oh, I am anything but lazy! I have actually said, "Mom – you know how it is with me: work before play." I am just becoming nocturnal like I am supposed to be. XD And you haven't? I love to read! I scare people with how much I read… sometimes myself as well. And no worries about the attention span; I sometimes get that way too.

Wow… Two updates in a row. This hasn't happened in a while…
Well, I had a pretty good day. I finally woke up before nine! :D Around noon, my mom and I then went to visit a friend of hers, Tammy, whom I've also known since I was… I don't know. Ten? She's really nice, and she had such the cutest kitties! Except for mine of course; my cats will always beat other cats, even if I like them.
Tammy had been having a few ups and downs since she got a divorce, a new house and kinda lost contact with one of her daughters. But her house looks great, and she's doing pretty good as well. They mostly talked about cross-stitching, life in general, and some humorous stories. I also got a copy of Pride and Prejudice from her as well.
Like I said, she's really nice.
By the time we left (she lives about half an hour away), it was 2:00 and my mom and I were starving. So, we ate lunch and then my mom was dragged out because my siblings wanted to use their gift cards for Target and places like that, and there were some necessity clothes my little sisters needed some more of (undies). So, I got the house to myself for a good three hours. It was so nice…
Did some more cleaning as yesterday was filled with chores as well and I was still in that mode, (dishes; swept; mopped; finally learned how to turn in the AC) and generally went around on the Internet doing nothing. But I updated my site about ten minutes ago! The layout I was squealing over a post or two ago is finally up; there is a link on the front page. I am still proud of it. :)
I also have this huge bruise on my right calf… it's from the cramp I get from time to time in the middle of the night. You know those, right? Buggers, aren't they? My mom said that I most likely broke a blood vein or something, especially if I massaged it to stop it from hurting so much. -__- Double bugger. I need to stretch more…
And now that the weather is a bit nicer, my mom and I plan to take power walks.
Well, that's it everyone. Thank you for coming and see you soon! I will most likely comment and stuff later on. I gotta get a start on my summer English project. :)

Knights Edge: Oh, it's not like we don't get along a lot. We just sometimes annoy one another. And she threw out her back, so she's kina cranky. I would be too. And sorry for getting you lost… did I really use big words? I talk like that all the time…
