poem
you are my darkness
forgotten by light
the waves of life
crash upon your mind
eroding memories you need
the life you had before
the moon wanes on your soul,
and you fight a war without knowing why
you are the one that has to fight
hidden by light the rest of us hide
while you battle the darkness of your heart
the mountains so high no one should climb them alone
forgotten by light you fight to save
but at the end of the day no one cares
you fight for them and they dont know
when you come home to me you cry
you seem so strong and you say to carry on
as I cry from the unknown
the darkness closes and I feel you die
forgotten by light and life I cry
and you tell me to live on
as I cry tears of blood
