   lol

*School*
Wow, I haven't updated in a long time. Well nothing else is new except that I start my classes again *today* Wednesday. The classes I'm taking are mainly chemistry and biology courses, with some labs here and there and a Philosophy course about Social Ethics. Hopefully that class is interesting. It's always a little sad to go back to the same routine. The entire semester could be stressful at times, especially during midterms -_-. I just hope I can get the grades I want. I should be getting them but you know, you never know. Things start out alright and then you start getting overwhelmed with work, blah ^.^'

*The Weather*
It's no surprise that a lot of states across the country have been under attack by low temperatures and arctic-like conditions. Yea, So.Cal has been having very low temps, like in the 40s range. It was something quite unexpected since we usually have very warm weather and during the winter our avg. temps are around the 50-60s. But recently, they have been dipping to the 30s.*brrrr*. lol. And we don't get any snow either. I guess that's a good thing, right?

Wow, first it was the blazing hot summer that sent a lot of people to the hospital because of heat strokes. I remember that around July-August, the temperatures at night were around 76 degress ^.^' Very hot for the night! It lasted for like a whole month. Then it was the usual, "seasonal", wildfires in the mountains. Thick sheets of smoke covered the coastal cities. *cough, cough* It was irritating after a while breathing in the contaminated air. blah XP I say "seasonal" because they now happen everytime there's Santa Ana winds, a.k.a. Devil Winds. I read somewhere that they only happen in Southern California. Is that true? Idk! But they're just awful when they're around. Those are hot, dry winds and they leave you charged up with static, so whenever you touch something like the car's door, you get a shock. eee! The fires are not caused naturally, rather they're the result of arson. Yup, some mischievous dude starts them. Tsk, tsk. And firemen put their lives in danger trying to put out the fires in midst of hot dry winds. People have to get evacuated a.s.a.p.

All of that and no rain yet! 2005 was very dry. There was very little rainfall.

*Other stuff*

Well there's much else to report here. I'll maybe have more news once my classes start, since there's always stuff to talk about, such as the sighting of a cute squirrel or bunnies. lol.

laters!
