   Hi!
1 Nephi 17: 3
And thus we see that the commandments of God must be fulfilled. And if it so be that the children of men keep the commandments of God he doth nourish them, and strengthen them, and provide means whereby they can accomplish the thing which he has commanded them; wherefore, he did provide means for us while we did sojourn in the wilderness.

1 Nephi 18: 3-4, 16, 21
And I, Nephi, did go into the mount oft, and I did pray oft unto the Lord; wherefore the Lord showed unto me great things.
And it came to pass that after I had finished the ship, according to the word of the Lord, my brethren beheld that it was good, and that the workmanship thereof was exceedingly fine; wherefore, they did humble themselves again before the Lord.
[...]
Nevertheless, I did look unto my God, and I did praise him all the day long; and I did not murmur against the Lord because of mine afflictions.
(Greater strength than I would probably have, but I will try to attain.)
[...]
And it came to pass after they had loosed me, behold, I took the compass, and it did work whither I desired it. And it came to pass that I prayed unto the Lord; and after I had prayed the winds did cease, and the storm did cease, and there was a great calm.

Equus and Xihuitl are in the living room. Equus is teasing a little fox with a cat toy.

Xihuitl: Well, Equus didn't ask the guy out, and she isn't going to.

Equus: Nope.

Xihuitl: Sano's very happy about that. But yes, the Gospel is wonderful. It applies to everyone. And actually, Equus has a friend who is getting baptized. ^_^

Haru #8 comes into the living room, Emeraulde in his hand.

Haru #8: There's something outside.

Xihuitl: What sort of something?

Haru #8: It looks like a shadow.

Xihuitl: o.O Okay...

Equus: The moon's out. There are lots of shadows.

Haru #8: But this one looked alive.

Equus: o.o

"As a young man or woman of this generation, what are you doing to realize your extraordinary potential? Will you nurture it and rise to exceptional heights of accomplishment and happiness?...
"I encourage you to discover who you really are. I invite you to look beyond the daily routine of life. I urge you to discern through the Spirit your divinely given capacities."
