The new drawing has been added!
Well, I uploaded it like a 1/2 hour ago so it should pop up sometime soonish. I notice it takes anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours for these things to show up so when my FanArt goes from 12 to 13 then we'll know it's been added! Anywho, here's the info about my drawing that I put on Deviant since they don't allow you to post much on Otaku when it comes to commenting on your own drawing..so here it is:

Those who have seen ALL my work besides anime...c'mon! Are you really that surprised I did an anime version of Legolas? I had a lot of fun with this drawing and went nuts with his hair. I recently got a pack of watercolor colored pencils which is basically colored pencil but adding water to it makes the colors blend and become super smooth! Well, that's what I used in this piece along with regular prismacolor colored pencils too. I put down the main colors and tones in regular pencils and then went over it with the watercolor pencils and then went over it with a fine brush! It was fun!
Also with this piece, instead of going over the whole outline in ink like with the other anime drawings, I only outlined certain parts of it and left my shading and highlights to come through to show texture. Hope you guys enjoy it!

   Thanks!
Big hugs and thanks for those who took the time to e-mail the owner of this site and/or leave a comment for me. If it weren't for you guys, I would have removed my drawings a looooooooooooooooong time ago because I don't want to have to deal with the immaturity of some people. I know, I know, I shouldn't let it get to me but it does. It's depressing looking at my drawings and every 30 mins see that someone went through all of them and gave them a negative vote. I STILL HAVE YET TO GET ONE SINGLE SOLITARY COMMENT FROM THE PEOPLE GIVING MY WORK A NEGATIVE VOTE!!!!!!!!!!!!! C'MON PEOPLE!! TAKE 30 SECONDS OF YOUR PRECIOUS TIME TO TELL ME WHY YOU VOTED AGAINST IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ok, I got that out of my system thanks for putting up with my vent there. I wish I could say that to these people's face though....*Looks up to the sky singing* "Somewhere over the rainbow, I'll throw punch in the flamers face. If they can give me a negative vote with no comment why oh why can't I." Like my song? I should patent it and pass it along to others having this done!

Anywho, I'm working on another drawing and hope to have that posted as early as today or tonight-ish! I'll post again if I get that done! Oh, and for people wanting to know about the magazine where I got the age and info from, the magazine is called "ANIME"....original, huh? And this was a special issue that was pure Inuyasha and filled with tons of cool facts and summaries of the shows and movies!

LOL! I see Roaring Flame Cat is battling it out to win the Sango, Kohaku, and Kirara drawing! Heehee...the person who also is bidding on it is the same person who had won my drawing of Sesshoumaru fighting Inuyasha. Go Flame Cat!!
Oh, and here's the links again for those interested in owning one of my artworks that are for sale on e-bay:
If you like my drawing of young Sango, Kohaku and Kirara, the link to that auction is here!
If you would like to own my new drawing of Kagome holding a sly-looking Inuyasha, then the auction is here!

*Hugs and kisses*

   Will the flaming never stop!!!
Oh man, I thought I had it bad! I was browsing through other people's artwork and see the same thing happening to them as well! I notice the moment a name pops us in the top 10, people instantly go through people's work and vote "no"! My friend Gemini has just had this happen to her as well! I ask of those people out there who are angered by this or have had this happen to them, please Please PLEASE do what I did and e-mail the owner(s) of this site and tell them they need to change something about the voting system! What I recommended is, like other sites I have my work on, that if you vote on a drawing your name will automatically appear in the comment box whether you leave a comment or not. This stops people from randomly going through art and bashing it for no reason. Yeah, it may cause some conflicts but hell, if you can't tell the artist why you don't like the piece, then DON'T FREAKIN VOTE "NO" ON IT!!!! If you would like to know where to go to e-mail the owners, then just go to your account, then click "Otaku Boards" at the top of the page. On that page on the left-hand side towards the bottom, you'll see a link called "Contact Us." That's where I sent my letter and hope to get a reply from them soon.

Anywho, I got an Inuyasha magazine recently and I've always wondered some of their ages in the show...so, just for fun, here's the list of the character's official ages as well as what their names mean!
Inuyasha: 18 physically but is at least 70 years old. His name translated is "Demon Dog"
Kagome: 15 and her name translated is "Woven Bamboo Pattern"
Sango: 16 and her name translated is "Coral"
Kirara: 300+ and her translated is "Mica"
Miroku: 19 and his name translated is "Maitreya" (a Buddhist God)
Shippou: 6 and his name translated is "Seven Jewels"
Sesshoumaru: Unknown age but is approx. 10-20 years older than Inuyasha and his name translated is "Perfect Killer" or "Perfect (Circle of Life) Killer"
Kikyo: 17 and her name translated is "Bellflower"
Naraku: 50 and his name translated is "Hell"
Kouga: 16 and his name translated is "Steal Fang"
Rin: 7 and her name translated is "Park"

Pretty neat, aye?

   YOU GUYS ROCK!!!
Wow! I'm amazed at how many people have commented and PMed me about the flamers and how they don't think my percantage seems right. You make me want to cry you're so sweet! I'm also amazed that my crying Inuyasha is still high percentage wise...that probably wont last but I guess that little 'ol face makes people feel guilty for flaming.

People must also be enjoying the random quote of the week too since I've had many comments on that. Isn't that nutters! And it really happened! I thought I would cry laughing and then it quickly turned to shock as Sango starting putting the moves on Inuyasha. Poor guy! And he's the one who got in trouble for it!

Like I promised, I will provide links to drawings I currently have for sale on e-bay. If you like my drawing of young Sango, Kohaku and Kirara, the link to that auction is here!
If you would like to own my new drawing of Kagome holding a sly-looking Inuyasha, then the auction is here!
This is a little off anime, but for those Lord of the Rings lovers out there...or Legolas lovers, I have an auction selling 5 prints of all my Legolas drawings and the link to that is here!

Now you don't have to bid on them or anything if you don't want to...I just got yelled at the last time I mentioned that I sold my drawings on e-bay and didn't tell anyone until the auction was near its end! SORRY! Don't yell!! Now, I'm off to study my Shakespeare notes for my final tomorrow...yay....<----that was sarcasm.

   Flamers on the prowl...
CURSE YOU FLAMERS!!!! Sends army of Elves armed with steaming hot Ramen in your direction! Yeah, people still find some pleasure in going through all my drawings and giving them bad votes with no comments. Meh, can't stop them but I will do a drawing on it!! MWAHAHAHA! It took me like, 2 hours to do this one too...a record on my account! It should be popping up soonish and you'll see a sad sad Inuyasha. Aw! Gives him a biscuit...
Inuyasha: "Thanks!!......HEY!!! I'm not a dog dammit!!" *throws it back and smacks me in the head*
"OW!"
Anywho, hope you guys like it, I think he looks rather cute and vulnerable:-)

You guys know what's a good movie...Shrek 2. Puss in Boots is my hero. "Hey boss, let's shave him." LOL! I love him.

I wish it would snow already! It's freezing and raining and wish the rain and cold would be replaced by warm fuzzy bunnies...but not falling from the sky...that would hurt. So, do anything fun this weekend? I listed a couple of my drawings on e-bay and will provide some linkage to them tomorrow! Love, peace, and chicken grease!

   Another finished drawing!!
Sheesh! Somebody stop me! 2 drawings done in 2 days...where is all this motivation coming from? Heehee...oh yeah! All you awesome people out there who are always cheering me on about my work:-D The drawing should be popping up soon if it's not there yet.

Anywho, I've been dying to try my hand at the chibi-ish style of anime so, here it is! I changed Inu's expression a few times but for some reason liked this one...he looks sorta innocent yet sly at the same time...hmmmmm...what's Inuyasha thinking? ^-^

Tomorrow I need to work on actual school work...bleck! But by Weds, all my classes are done and then I get a whole month off for Winter Break! Wahooo!! GAH! Why the hell are commercials so much louder than the TV shows...grabs remote and lowers volume. Anywho, I hope everyone has a dandy weekend and get all your X-Mas shopping done soon! Don't leave it to the last minute like I always do:-P

   YAY! It's done!
The drawing of Inuyasha and Kagome is finally done! *Whew!* Between juggling finals and my art, I'm surprised I finally finished it! I added it onto this site but I also added it to DeviantArt as well, and since Otaku limits the size of the pieces, if you want to see the larger version of it then click here.

I had made a listing on e-bay that told people that I would do any Inuyasha drawing made especially for them. I told them it could be of any character, doing anything, with anyone! Well, the person who won that auction told me they wanted a drawing of Inuyasha and Kagome in the classic anime style, and she wanted them facing each other, with somber-like faces, and to have Inuyasha's hand covering the tops of Kagome's. From there she told me to do what I wanted which included the background. Well, this is the result! She was very very pleased with it so that made me happy.

This was done, like the others, using prismacolor colored pencils and ink to fill in Kagome's hair and for the outline of the characters. I think the background took me longer to color then the characters!!

Hope you guys like it and I'm now working on another Inuyasha and Kagome drawing but done in the chibi style. It think it's going to be very cute. After that one, I hope to get going on adult Shippou and from there I already have been nabbed for some requests! WOHOO!!! IT'S FRIDAY!!!

   WOHOO!
3 days and a few curses later...my college got off its lazy butt and fixed our internet! Oh man, I got so much school work done...yeah, it was awful. Heehee, I'm SO on my way to check my guestbook and PM's so I can't get back to everyone. Really! I wasn't ignoring anyone!

Oh, for those wondering, the drawing of Xandir and Toot is, like I mentioned, from the show 'Drawn Together' which airs on Comedy Central after South Park on Weds at 10:30 PM. If you get the chance, you should really check it out, it's so funny! On the next episode, they have Richie Rich being Donald Trump! HA!! It's so great! And it's fun to watch the parody characters like Ling Ling whose a Pikachu looking creature who just goes around plotting on killing everyone and gets pissed when the dishes aren't done which he can vent all he wants because the other characters don't have a clue on what he's saying...they think he's a pet basically.

I went X-Mas shopping today in China Town and bought all my friend's Ramen bowls. Yes, Ramen bowls. I have one and I use it for EVERYTHING! They're just dandy. My parents know that I'm stressing over finals so they sent me a package filled with my fave candies and treats...I think they're trying to make me fat. So, what's the #1, oh my god I can't live without it, gift that people asked for this Christmas?

And yes for those people who keep asking, my drawing of Inu and Kag is almost done and it may be posted as soon as tomorrow!

   Stupid internet....
Son of a batch of cookies! I hate when the internet goes down in the dorm rooms. It happens every now and again and you know the funny thing is, we don't have classes today, it's supposed to be "Study Day." Good timing on my college's part since I actually NEED the internet today to do research on a paper!! GRRRRRR!!! So, I'm in the labs and am taking a break from Shakespeare. *Whew*

Anywho, I finished that drawing I was telling you guys about yesterday of the characters from the show 'Drawn Together.' I'll probably not post it on this site since I don't think it qualifies as anime but if you guys let me know whether it is or not, then I'd probably post it here too. Here's the link to it and it's also here that I have the explanation on how I did it and what the show it about: click here!

Also, I'm almost done with the drawing that I was paid to do so I'm going to be continuing my adult Shippou drawing. I also am DYING to try my hand at drawing Inuyasha in 'chibi' style so I may pop one of those out one of these days.

Oh, and yes, I sold the drawing of Inuyasha fighting Sesshoumaru on e-bay and I plan on selling my drawing on young Sango, Kohaku, and Kirara soon so I'll let you guys know when that's up and listed since I got yelled at last time because I didn't post it till it was basically too late. ^_^

   Grooooooovy.....
Wow! I can't believe the amount of people who have wandered onto my site because I was their random Otaku member. I wonder why my name shows up so much? Maybe it's the Ramen thing. Mmmmmmm Ramen. And I've already had over 500 visitors to my site! WAHOO!! Hey, if it reaches 1,000, I would do a super duper ultra-cool drawing that would be based on that little factor. *Hint *Hint *Nudge *Nudge. ^_^

I had a great time this weekend too. One of my buds came up and visited me and I showed her the sites of NYC and took her to a bunch of cool anime places. I even got the latest Inuyasha figures of Kikyo and Sesshoumaru to go with my Inuyasha and Kagome one. They look ever-so-nice on my desk. I got the last Sesshoumaru one too *laughs evilly*. The coolest part of the Sesshoumaru toy, is that they left his fluffy thing...fluffy! *Gives it a hug and snuggles face in the softness* OUCH! Tenseiga just stabbed me in the eye!

Have any of you guys seen the show 'Drawn Together'? It's a reality show but the characters are all cartoons! Heehee...they have parodies on almost all types of cartoons and yes, including an anime one. Anywho, I did a quick drawing of my 2 fave characters and will probably not post it on this site since it may not be catergorized as anime but it will be on DeviantArt and I'll provide some linkage to that. I'm not sure what the restrictions are on this site when it comes to posting non-anime drawings. Anyone know?

Well, love to all and I'll be swinging by your sites since I wasn't here all weekend!^_^
