I had the most tubular dream last night. I had a dream I was Peter Pan…but I sorta wasn’t. I was my OC Elf, Estel except I was younger and could fly and I had a Tinkerbell helping me out but I was in modern time in a weird doctor’s office. And then the doc’s and nurses realized I could fly and they send the SWAT team to the building to try and catch me but the place was so huge I was flying in and out of the rooms and no matter what they couldn’t catch me but then they finally got me cornered but there was a chimney beside me so I went flying out of the chimney and over all the buildings and somehow ended up in the tree tops in a huge forest and I was safe. So yeah, it was an awesome and fun dream but you want to know what’s really REALLY weird? When I got up this morning, I went to get our mail and there was junk mail for me which isn’t that odd….but…right on the front of this junk mail it said, ‘Understanding your flying dreams.’ ISN’T THAT WEIRD?!

Oh! I forgot to tell you guys a funny story that happened a couple weeks ago. So, my pals, Phil, Tyler, Gavin and I went to go to the movies and after it was done, we go out to the car and there’s this giant Hummer parked so close to the car that we can barely squeeze in. So, Gavin says, “Oh, that ass! Phil! Give me a paper and pen!” So Phil goes into his dashboard and retrieves them and Gavin scribbles a note that read, ‘Hey, nice parking job, Earth Killer!!’ and then draws a smiley face flashing the middle finger. So, Gavin walks over to the Hummer and starts to put the note under the person’s windshield wipers and just as he’s doing so, a couple walks by and Gavin just panicked and pretended to walk away. The couple walks past him so obviously, they weren’t the owners and Gavin just glares at us because we’re laughing hysterically because he was trying to be all macho but ran off like a little girl when he though the owner was coming. But, he put the note on the windshield and we left. And thus ends my story…I wish I could have seen the Hummer dude’s reaction upon reading that note though.XD

I was so aggravated last night at work. I walked into the bank to relieve the person who had been there all day so she could go home and….nothing was done!!! She didn’t so ANYTHING all freakin’ day which put me in a really bad position because not only do I have to get all my work done for the night but now I have to do hers. And I asked her why she didn’t do anything all day and she just replied, “Well, I had a bad day.” You know what? That’s no excuse because now I’m going to have a crappy night because I’m going to have to work my butt off to complete YOUR work. And you know what else ticks me off? This girl is a supervisor! So she’s making a lot more money then me without doing any work. Ticked me off to no end and this isn’t the first time it’s happened. I think the other bankers take advantage of the fact that I’m a nice person and I’m a very hard worker so they think it’s okay to slack off. I may approach my manager about this because I’m getting fed up with people walking all over me.

Anyway, onto something a bit more cheerful, I got bit by the drawing bug and now I have the biggest urge to do a Fruits Basket drawing! I think I’m going to do one of Yuki and Hatsuharu and make them looking all smexy. I think the urge to draw Fruba came from the purchase I just made of an awesome limited edition Yuki resin statue. It should be here in a couple days, can’t wait! I wuv my wittle Yuki-kun.

Quote of the Day from a comedian I heard on my satellite radio while driving home from work:
“I went into a restaurant the other day that had a sign that said, ‘Breakfast, Any Time. So, I went in and ordered French toast from the Renaissance.”
Lol! I’m sorry, lame but made me giggle.

Wow, a lot of people commented and updated yesterday after I asked where everyone had disappeared too. Lol! I think I guilt-tripped people into coming back and just to clarify, I wasn’t complaining about the lack of comments and updates from people, it was more-so an observation then complaint.

Some noticed I changed the font on my site. Wow, observant people some of you are! Well, I changed it because with the upgraded Internet Explorer, my site text was being cut off so I had shrunk my entire site’s width a little so my text could be seen to its entirety. And because I shrunk the width, it made my posts appear longer even though they weren’t and a few people have complained about my posts being longer…even though they aren’t(FEH! to those people who complain!) so, I simply changed the font and now my text is smaller and hey…people aren’t complaining any more. There, problem solved.

I hurt myself at work today, I was reaching into the vault to grab a money bag for a fellow employee, and there’s this latch on the side of the metal door that’s the lock of the vault and it sticks straight up when the door is open. Well, I reached up to grab the bag and brought my arm down and slammed my elbow straight down onto the metal latch. Now, I have quite a high tolerance for pain but oh man, after I whacked my elbow like that I just wanted to fall on the floor and sob it hurt so bad! Well, my elbow is okay now but it’s just a little swollen and bruised. It just *had* to be on my dominant arm too! Feh!

Where is everyone?! Man, the amount of Otaku visits has declined dramatically and I’ve noticed it happening on other people’s sites too. I guess people are just busy…which is understandable since we do lead real lives out in the real world.^^

So the big storm that was supposed to hit yesterday is now supposed to happen at midnight or so. I can hear the sleet coming down. Sleet is worse then snow since it will just turn to ice and ice is a bigger butthead to drive in then snow…obviously.
My day back to work after my vacation went fine. I got a lot of compliments on my hair! Lol! Those who read my post last week may remember by hair dye disaster story but luckily, it all worked out in the end. Oh, and I found out I got paid for my days off which was dandy. I had just requested the days off not realizing that I was getting paid holiday. So yeah, go to the NY Comic Con and get paid for it! Sounds good to me!
I have 120 unread PM’s I need to read one of these days.^^’’ I am so bad when it comes to reading my PM’s and I have no excuse for it except I get so many that I can’t keep up with it. Blah, and for all those who have commented about joining the Yuki Club, don’t worry! I have written your names down and will be sending you the codes and info soon-ish.

Another Vampire Knight picture! And it’s my honey, Zero. For all those who commented how much they loved the artwork in it then go check out Matsuri Hino’s other manga called, MeruPuri! It’s just as pretty…maybe even more-so. *pets*

I have to go back to work today. NOOO! I’ve been enjoying my vacation. It’s true, the hardest part of vacation is going back to work afterwards. *sniff* We’re supposed to get a storm too. Heh, welcome back, neh?

Anywho, as promised in my last post, I shall tell the story of the Burger King king at the NY Comic Con:
So, my friends, Amani and Angel were buying some things at a booth and I was standing a little ways from them and I turn around, and there’s the Burger King king!....except….he was dressed….as a Storm Trooper from Star Wars! I think my eyes just bugged out at the site of this. So, the guy sees me, and throws his arms in the air while squeezing this squeaky hamburger toy while rotating his hips around. As if my eyes couldn’t bug out more but I started cracking up and the King walks past me and whispers to me, ”You’re so sexy.” and walks away. O_O Otaku’s Adam witnessed this too and I’m pretty sure this dude left an interesting impact on the both of us. Here’s a picture of the guy in case you wanted a mental image of him:

So yeah, I think this will be the one and only time that I can tell people, I was hit on by the Burger King guy wearing a Storm Trooper costume. Certainly an experience that goes into my book of WTF?

Where’s my fellow Vampire Knight fans at? Zero is my fave…big shocker since he has those lavender eyes and you all know how I’m a sucker for lavender-eyed characters...even though his eyes are more-so gray in this picture...wonder why. Maybe he's gone into vampire mode or something.XP

Glad you guys liked my pictures from the NY Comic Con in my last post! Yeah, if you haven’t seen them, then check them out below! It was 3 days of bliss but we were so exhausted by the 3rd day that we were dragging. We also said, "You know when the comic con-ers are drained when they start using their light sabers as walking sticks." lol! Yes, there were many Star Wars fans there but I was there for the anime goodies.

On Saturday I got to see Kevin Smith!!! AH! You know, the director/actor from Jay and Silent Bob and all the Clerks movies and such? Oh man, he was hilarious! His whole thing is Q/A’a that fans approach a microphone and ask him stuff. The best question asked to him was:
“If you could see any 2 people whether they be fictional or not, fight to the death and any weapons can be used, who would it be? I decided a fight between Keanu Reeves with a chainsaw VS. a velicorapter.”
Kevin Smith thought for a moment before answering:
“The Swedish Chef from the Muppets Vs. Martin Luther King.”
lol! I’m sorry but the randomness of it cracks me up and later a guy asks who he thinks would win that fight and Kevin Smith responds:
“Well, one is dead and another is a puppet so I don’t really know.”
Haha! Here’s a piccy I took of him:

Today, I went out and bought a frame and some matte board for the poster that Vic Mignogna (best known as the voice actor of Edward Elric) signed for me. I used to have to matte my drawings all the time so I thought I did a good job custom framing and matting this poster. You can see his autograph to me too:

Tomorrow, I plan on telling you guys about the Burger King king who hit on me at the Con.XP

So, I got back home late Sunday night from my most-amazing weekend at the NY Comic Con. I got so much free stuff that I borrowed an extra bag from Angel so I could take it all home! So much manga….*drool*
I find it cute how many of you were so excited when I mentioned that I spent Saturday with Otaku’s founder, Adam. I think people view him as some sort of God. Lol! But he ain’t! He’s just a regular guy…even though he probably wishes people think he’s a God.^_~

Anywho, there is so much that I can talk about that happened during the Con so I’ll probably span it out over the next couple days.
On Sunday, I got to meet Vic Mignogna! The voice actor of Edward Elric from FMA and although I usually can’t stand English dubs because of lack of acting talent, Vic was one of those choice few that I actually thought was really good. Well, Angel and I went to stand in line and there was an employee of the Con holding a sign that said, ”Sorry, I’m the last person in line.” which bummed us out but we asked if we could still wait in line to at least get one of the posters Vic was signing and the guy said that was fine. In the meantime, a bunch of other people lined up behind us for the poster as well. So, the End of the Line guy gets up to Vic and Vic looks behind him and asks, ”Do those people want an autograph too?” And the guy says yes and Vic goes, “Well sure! Let them forward!” How sweet is that?! I mean, I had heard Vic was a nice guy and that just proved it to me. So we went to him and he chatted with us and signed a Tsubasa Chronicles poster for both of us and I asked him if I could get a picture with him and he said absolutely! And he just grabs me, throws his arm around me and puts his head up against mine while Angel took the picture. What a sweetie! Here’s the piccy of us:

I also got to meet the voice actors who do Sasuke and Temari from Naruto and got their autograph and they were very nice as well. Here’s a piccy of them:

I thought this was the best looking Naruto costume I’ve ever seen:

And I also got to meet the cast from the reality show, Who Wants to Be a Superhero and you can see me in my Tifa costume! Adam was in this image but he wants people to keep thinking he’s a God XP so I cropped it so you can’t see him:

I’m the one next to the guy in blue in case you didn’t know what Tifa looked like and the cast thought my costume was great. One of these days I’m going to get my friend, Gavin(an awesome photographer) to take some pictures of me in the costume so you can see it to its entirety.

Well, I'm still in NYC staying with my friend, Angel(Suyari) and using her laptop so I can make a quick update. I went to the NY Comic Con Friday and Saturday and will be going again on Sunday before I have to go home. Boo. But, I've been having a blast! Friday was spent mostly just going around and collecting all the free stuff that places like Viz and Tokyo Pop were giving away. I have so much free manga and posters and autographs and stuff that I'm going to have to borrow another duffel bag from Angel just to be able to take it home with me by the bus!

I dressed like Tifa from Advent Children Saturday and got hit on quite a bit and even a camera crew stopped me to interview me and talk to me. That was pretty cool oh, and I'll have to tell you guys about my run-in with the Burger King guy while at the con on Monday's post.XD
And I also hung out with Adam (owner of this site) most of the day which was awesome. He's a fun guy...and he had read my last post about my hair dye/skin disaster and he made a smart-ass comment about it. *shakes fist at him* And then he took us to this cute restaurant called 'Burgers and Cupcakes' which specializes in...burgers and cupcakes...un-original name now that I think about it but it was very yummy and we got free cupcakes because the place was closing for the night and they needed to get rid of them.

So, that's it for this post because I need to pack and get ready for the Con tomorrow and I'll have some more funny/detailed things that happened during the con.^_^

*grumbles* Well, soon after I made my post on Saturday cheerful about the fact that we got our new Road Runner internet working again…it crashed. *grumbles again* Long story short: Our internet went down, Time Warner gave us some new crap and then it worked for a few hours and then our router went bad and had to download some more crap to make it work but now…maybe, possible, probably not…our internet seems to be finally set and done.

I have quite the story to tell everyone of my misadventures that happened today:
I’m going to be going to the NY Comic Con and I’m going to be dressed as Tifa from Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children so this morning, I figured I’d get a slightly darker hair dye then what I usually get(I’ve been dying my hair since college because I started getting gray hairs…early gray hairs run in the family…I’d have Inuyasha hair by now if I didn’t dye it.XD). I picked up a color that was supposed to be Dark Amber Brown so once I got home, I put it in, showered, and…it dyed my hair…BLACK! Like…black black. Very much not a good color on me. So, I called a bunch of hair salons trying to get an emergency appointment and one stylist suggested that I put Dawn dishwashing liquid in my hair but to condition the hell out of it since it will dry out and destroy my hair. I’m thinking to myself…hell no am I doing that to my hair plus, the Comic Con is in a couple days! So, I managed to find a place that could squeeze me in and they had to end up highlighting my hair because they didn’t want to have to bleach my entire head but they ended up highlighting it not just once but twice because the black dye was so dark that the first layer barely showed up. So yeah, $80 later my hair is lighter and now it has 3 layers of color in it.^^’’

And…this goes into the “don’t do what ElvesAteMyRamen did” category(as if what happened above wasn’t enough). When I dyed my hair the black color, I forgot to put a shirt on and towel around my neck so I ended up dying my skin too! Oi vey! I quickly did an ask.com search on how to get hair dye off of skin because this dye was NOT coming off. There were all kinds of suggestions and majority of them had people say they didn’t work except for one thing did seem to work for everyone…which was to use the Mr.Clean Magic Eraser. Lol! So yes, I ended up using the Mr.Clean Magic Eraser on my body and it did work! Only problem is, it totally scratches your skin up raw. So yeah, I got the dye off but now I have deep red marks on parts of my arms, on my neck, on my back, and even on my stomach. I hope it heals before the con since Tifa’s costume top is pretty skimpy.>_<

Sorry for such a long post! My excuse is that I’ll probably be gone for a few more days since I’m going to be staying at my pal, Angelica’s house while going to the con in NYC. I’ll let you guys know how the con went upon my arrival back home around Sunday or Monday. Oh, and I’ll be meeting Adam(the owner/creater/publisher of Otaku) there! I’m looking forward to it…let’s just hope he doesn’t read this post about my um…hair and skin disaster.XP

Glad you guys liked the pictures in my last post. And to answer all of you who asked what that lawn ornament was in front of our swimming pool; that’s an antique sundial my grandfather gave us. It really works too! It’s pretty cool. And our swimming pool is 9 feet deep for all those who asked that too. Too bad it’s really only warm here in NY like, 3 months out of the year.XD

Anywho, so I had to go to work on Thursday.>_< Driving up and down hills on barely plowed roads was not fun but I lived so it’s all good.
Oh, and get this, you know how I was all excited about my new cable internet? Well, the day after my last post, our internet stopped working! ARGH! After only one day! I guess Time Warner screwed something up and had to re-boot everything or some crap. Feh! It’s working fine now though.^^
But….lucky me, I had downloaded those 7 episodes of Death Note and watched the first 3 episodes last night and holy buckets! What a good anime! That first episode…the animation alone impressed the heck out of me! The music is wonderful too…the part when Light was writing in the notebook in the 1st episode killing off those bad guys and that animation is just so fluid and smooth and that hard-core opera-like music is playing just…wow. Goose bump worthy. I’ve already downloaded the soundtrack. Whee!

I want some spicy nacho Doritos. I think I shall get some.
