rambles
I'm getting to where I don't much care for Elfwood anymore... I just updated a little and read some comments... people can be really MEAN, and for no reason at all... oh and I joined deviant art >.O cause I'm a deviant :P actually I joined them so I can see about selling prints of my original art... we'll see how that goes...

Anyway... well I have the next couple of days off from work (even though I'm thinking about going in there in the morning to do some work on a project that's been dumped on me...) *sigh* how many people would actually think of going to work on a day off... me that's who... I like ulcers and stress, they keep me alive -_____- good grief I'm an idiot.

nee-way, I'm working on a KH music video... I hope it turns out well. It's to a Roxette song called Breathe an I'm using clips from the KH2 opening. (oh how I love that beautiful CG work they did there...) if you haven't seen it yet, YOU MUST!!! just the opening... all it does is recap KH and KH:CoM... and then lead into this game with Roxas doing the floatie dream thing Sora did in the first game. So there's not many spoilers (unless you haven't played KH and CoM)

now I shall answer some things that were raised in my last post

ryu6fw, Right now the only way to get a hold of Advent Children here in the U.S. is to download it from someplace... That will be the Japanese version ripped from the DVD and then fan subbed by rabid FF fans ^_~ otherwise you'll have to wait until June... that's the last time I heard anything about the U.S. release of the movie... and this is from the dude I reserved my copy from at the mall.. so he should know. okies?

RenoTheTurk, thank you Yeah, I do have msn messenger... but I also have the fansub... I just won't watch it. I know, stupid. For some reason I'm waiting for the official DVD... but I don't know if I can wait that long >.O will power.. must be strong... OH by any chance... do you know how I can get my hands on one that's just the Japanese version... no subtitles? The reason I downloaded it and then tucked it away was so I could make some AMVs... but it's kinda hard to do that with subs all over the place. And I've looked everywhere for a clean copy... anyway, thank you, Reno (hope you don't mind me shortening your name)... for the offer ^__^
oh and thanks to both you and Zero for not spoiling it for me... I really should watch it >.O it... summons me....

I adore that image I posted last time (Cloud and Kadaj...) I put it up as my wallpaper and everything... just love it I've found that if you just google Advent Children you'll be able to find it. It's very much worth the hunt... unless you want me to just give it to you (but I'd have to e-mail or messenger it to you... it's too big for photobucket.)

I need to work on my dark and brooding side... dark.. think dark and angsty... *warm fuzzy fluffies and little pink moogles* NOOOOO

   I feel.... Strangely happy tonight!
I actually had a good Valentines for once ^__^ full of nice warm fuzzies...

Anyway.. I really should be in bed right now... I have an 8 hour shift in the morning and it's going to be a monster of a day because of all the crud that's going down right now (internal stuffs I really shouldn't talk about but I usually do anyway.) So anyhoo... I have to walkin’ on a big ol' mess in the morning, since I'm supposed to set an entire row of clearance merchandise. No guides, just me and my brain and obsessive neat habits... and a mess of un-tagged clearance crapola... *sigh*

Well on a happier note, I found some really GREAT Advent Children art the other night... There's this one wallpaper that I just adore! It's Cloud and Kadaj, and I just can't get over how... for lack of a better word... pretty it is. I'll try to find the link to the site later, but till then I'll just post a clip of it... I love it, but I don't like the idea that um... Kadaj looks dead... I'm going to say he's sleeping... I'm going to hope he's sleeping (and please don't spoil it for me if you know the truth behind this movie... I've gone this long with out spoilers... and while I usually appreciate the info, I kinda would rather keep this one a secret.)

So with out further ado... Cloud and Kadaj! Woot!



Isn't it wonderful!! look at that detail... I HATE THEM AND THEIR GREAT TALENT!!! I wish I could do that.... envy... envy yet again rears his head... >.O he needs to go bother Ed not me...nya ha ha... you know you saw that one coming.

Well... shoot gotta go... must sleep... must stop looking at AC stuff... strange... that I look forward to this movie so much when I actually hated the plot of FF7 >.O it was just so cheeseball... but I loved the characters so... Sephiroth, Vincent, Cloud, and Aerith... (Tifa can take a hike for all I care...) but I really liked the characters...
So far FF9 is my fav of all final fantasy games... I love the plot, love the characters... and I like FF8 so far (about 2 discs into it.. was at 3 but I started over when I couldn't get Bahamut...) I LOVE LAGUNA!!! he's such an idiot! I'm writing a fic about him right now ^_~ it's another comedy/romance.. it will end in him chasing down Squall for something that happened in the past. I'll tell you when it's finished... that is if anyone’s interested.

   Happy V-day from the V-day wisher of Doom
I hate Valentines day, always have, always will... -___- but that doesn't mean I don't wish a good one to everyone else ^_^ so happy thoughts of warm fuzzies and smoochie hearts to all those who do care.

I sound like the grinch of Valentines day don't I! WooT!!!

speaking of valentines.. makes me think Vincent Valentine... which makes me think of FF7 and then Advent Children... which is due out in June last I heard. I finally paid off my copy I have on reserve ^___^ aaaaaah now if only it would COME OUT!!! this is almost as bad as waiting for my Sephiroth figure to come in the mail... and he still hasn't come... I'm starting to get a little disgruntled. >.O I've been waiting for about a week and a half and I've always wanted a figure of him since... 10 YEARS!!!! 10 YEARS!!! it's been that long since I was in 9th grade.. (maybe 9 years....) since my freaky weird fascination with the greatest villain of all time -___- *siiiiiiiiigh* Time is an evil thing... anyway.. where was I.. oh yeah.. I've wanted a figure of him ever since the game came out... and finally I found one on-line that didn't cost and arm, leg and my first born child... $10 about... not bad. but I'ts taking forever to get here and I think my luck is starting to rear it's ugly head... *sigh*

Well, I'm going to go now before I scare you all anymore than I already have.... I'll try to do something special for V-day... I'll be back with a chibi Vincent pic... if I can get it done... if not you'll have to settle for my V-day KH pic I did last year for that contest on the KH:CoM forum...

Happy (Chinese) New Year!
It's officially the year of the Dog now... But I seriously doubt I'll be able to stay up until the crack of dawn to "greet the new year" I don't even do that for the new years we celebrate here... heh heh. What can I say, I'm a night owl who hates mornings. Mornings are for sleeping and only crazy people see dawn :P I actually finished my special Fruits Basket fanart of Kureno and Shigure dancing. You know the whole story, right? Kureno is the Rooster and Shigure is the Dog. At the Banquet the year that passed and the year to come dance, sort of a farewell/hello. I posted it just now, cause I'm about to go to bed and couldn't wait any longer. In case anyone is wanting to know this is actaully a painting. Watercolor and Gouache with ink and a photoshopped background made from scans of scrapbook paper (and that's the only thing that was photoshopped...)

So, I bid you Happy New Years and goodnight at the same time... for my pillow calls me rather loudly.

Rooster!
My year is almost up... two days and it will be the year of the dog. -_- it's so sad (for me) Well, such is life... It gives me a good excuse to do some Furuba art... I'm working on a special pic in watercolor and Guache that I'll try to post on the new year. I just hope I can get the hang of the characters again and get this thing done on time. I've been drawing FMA and Kingdom Hearts so much here lately I have a hard time going back to Furuba >.<
I can't wait for book 13 to come out... I kinda cheated and looked up some spoilers, it's going to be wonderful.. and that's all I'm going to say. Aaya is quickly becoming one of my fav characters ^_^ Hatori will always be #1 for me, but Aaya is right up there too...
anyway...
not much has been happening really.. there's been a bit of stupid drama that reminds me of a really bad high school anime. Been having some problems with an old friend of mine... after talking to some friends of mine I finally decided it might be best to give her another chance... kinda of a waste to loose such a long time friend, even if I felt trampled on... sorry I'm still a little bitter about some things... so I hope this all goes alright. Other than that it's just the same old thing with work, and I don't want to really go there with that one -__- work is a pain and that's all there is to it.

hmmm.. I'm going to have to get on later and rant on some KH and Advent children... I keep forgetting.. but I must be off now... I've got some fics to write and work to do ^_^ So till later on today..

a warning to anyone who bought the Fruits Basket anime
my puddle of memories disc just shattered... from the center of the cd and going out... little cracks like spider webs... it still plays but not for long. The cause? It's the cases... If you bought Fruits Basket individually as it was coming out here in the U.S. then you better check your cases and make sure the same thing doesn't happen to you're disc as well. It's some kind of flaw in the packaging. That little button you push to release the dvd is a little to tough, so when you go to put your dvd back the force causes it to crack... I don't know if all the packaging is the same for everyone, but the only good one I have is disc 2 "What Becomes of Snow?" the others are starting to bust up on me... -___- why didn't I see this sooner!!! *sigh*
So just a warning to all of you.. Get out your Furuba and look at it quick! if you're case has this style of button...


GET THE DVD OUT!!! -___- I'm going to loose two of mine, “puddle of memories” is pretty much shot and "a great transformation" is going... put them in a paper sleeve or wrap them in something soft and then just set them in the case, don't try to fit them in with the button/latch thing...

Cloud: Sora... I am your father... *heavy vador breathing*
Actually no... Cloud is not Sora's father.. but that certainly would make a great comic (and it would explain Sora's hair...) but No... alas... and yet...

Back once upon a time I was a moderator at the Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories forum (fanart section...) and while being a part of this wonderful forum that sadly seems to be unvisited anymore... I go back now and then, but nobody's ever there >.< I'm so sad... that aside... My friend Zero and I used to crack jokes about Kingdom Hearts... one of them was: Sora looks like Cloud, therefore he's Cloud's Mini-me! or better yet... He's the love child of Cloud and Aerith... spikey hair just like Cloud and it's brownish like Aerith's...

And ZERO... started going around and telling this 'joke' like it was the honest to goodness truth.

Shame on you Zero...

Of course we weren't the only ones to think of this, I mean just look at Sora... the Vador/Cloud joke was bound to be spread like wild fire over a dried out wheat field. and why not! ^_^ it's funny!

yet, I think Sora looks more like Zion... Who Cloud's other long lost son... :P don't believe me... lookit here...

See Cloud, in his frantic attempt to beat Sephiroth at his own game of clones, decided to create Zion and Sora. So like Kadaj and Riku are to Sephiroth so are Zion and Sora to Cloud.... O.o

sorry sorry... I couldn't help it.. I'm being weird.

And what brought this on? you may be asking... Well Reno The Turk asked me in my last post about that rumor of Cloud being Sora's father... Yay! I love that rumor! And it just reminded me of the good Ol' days of the KH: CoM forum... so I went off like I tend to do when something tickles my funny bone...

The truth of the matter is that Square has wonderful character designs that people love, and so they tend to reuse them... just a tiny bit... no complaints here... I love the Sephiroth Clones...

But there are two things you can take away with you from this post of extreme weirdness...

1. Cloud is not Sora's father... (and Zion is not his brother...)

2. Rest assured that I will not rest until I write a doujinshi about it though... MWAH HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HAAAAAAA! *snort* evil!

My heart's a battle field...
I was in the mall the other day and saw that you can now reseve KH 2.... so I looked it up... I SAW THE OPENING!!! they looks so... wonderful! Riku's hair is longer! and sora looks.. almost REAL!!! and... and... VIVI from FF9 is in it!!!!! YAAAAAAY!!! a 9 character! FINALLY!!! I'm SO HAPPY!!! *melts into a puddle of oozy happiness*

I was so amazed by the quality, and you get to see all the most important scenes from the first game and CoM in the opening! The fight between Marluxia and Sora was awesome... and way too short *sigh* course I found out some things I wish I hadn't about CoM... stuff that involves Zexion and Larxene.. I mean I played the game and didn't realize... but I still have hope for them... you know square... all their twists.

anyway... I downloaded the opening and I'm going to go work on some AMVs! hopefully I'll post all these AMVs somewhere soon so you guys can see them!

Oh! and here's some pics... can't remember where I got them all.. one good place is "Blue Laguna" go there... google it and then go there.

I remember those... so hot and everything looked yellow. I went through one when I lived in southern CA... when I was about 7 or 8. Yet I still wish with all my heart that I could live there again... I miss it so much. ah memories! ^__^

oh and you too Zero... (she drove by and saw how bad it was getting and called me to make sure we were ok... offered to help us get out... but thankfully we were high enough that we didn't need to be evacuated...) Thanks Zero!!

   Like Roy in the Rain...
I just had the worst two weeks in... ages... Our house almost got flooded. The rain was so bad here the rivers overflowed the banks and washed everything away... We were lucky. Most people around us had lost a lot, and the water damaged their houses really badly... but it only came in just a little with ours... the problem is under our house... I think it rotted out some of the flooring.. so now there's all these little 'sink holes' in the kitchen and my Mom's room... plus, the sun hasn't come out... everything that did get wet (like the carpet) is starting to mold... I swear my house now smells like one of those weird hippie Count D Petshop of Horrors kind of stores because I've been burning incense non-stop 24/7.

anyway... I've tried to fix things up... help clean up... calm my family down when the water got up to our doorstep.. but I only ended up freaking out too.... I'm useless... in the rain.. just like Roy kinda :P well at least I still have a sense of humor about it... anyhoo... the power went out as well... so that's why I haven't been on-line lately, sorry everyone. but I'm back now.. family's safe, our house is somewhat ok... we're blessed, I'm thankful it wasn't worse than that.

   Merry Christmas Everyone!!!
Just wanted to say Merry Christmas!!! Hope everyone has lots of Fun with all their family and friends... and the egg nog... which I hate so in my case it would be a Raspberry vanilla Grande Mocha from Starbucks... feel the holiday spirit... of Starbucks yessssssss....
