Hey everyone, what's new? :) hehe I know I haven't been here for 7 weeks..^^; Sorry. Some of you probably thought I disappeared (i know one friend did :P). Others may have thought that I had entered the world of boredom :P. Anyway, neither of those have happened (i havent totally disappeared from theO/MyOtaku).. i've just been busy. :) that and I've lost some big amounts of interest in MyO..sorry..with all the fiasco over the TheOtaku switch and MyO being dead I lost interest. I realize that some new improvements have been made. MyO is linked to TheO. PMs are also back..but i haven't really regained that much interest..sorry...that and life's been really busy as of late. I'll get into that in just a bit (well after one more section). Busyness takes a lot of time. :O
First of all I wanted to bring up some pressing concerns. I've read and kept up with news about the events in Burma. (Country in Southeast Asia). Its name is now Myanmar but I've heard it been called both names. Anyway, that's not the most important point..the nation is ruled by a dictatorship and they've responded poorly to a disaster in the region..nearly 30,000 people (as of 10 PM Monday night) have been killed and many are homeless. Aid has been very slow in coming in..the government has been very slow in allowing aid to come in. The US has a navy, ship with supplies ready to come in (no they're not there to invade. US military personnel have been used for humanitarian reasons too) and other nations, along with the UN have supplies ready for the people. Unfortunately, the government has been VerY slow to act and has even taken some supplies from aid workers (and are not allowing much foreign help in). I am disgusted by this, it is (their actions) only because they're afraid of losing power. They're afraid with aid workers coming in, there will be outside influence and that it would cause revolution -_- yet the more they dont let help in, the more people will die. Its awful and please pray for the victims, Thank you (pray if you are religious and if you dont pray please keep them in your thoughts).

Sorry about the depressing news, it was just weighing on my mind recently. Anyways, on to why I am busy. I've got a lot of studying to do (and may be working this summer). Preparing for classes in the fall. Since the classes will be involving topics that I haven't learned in a while. So yeah i've been busy, but at the same time, its been okay :). I guess I have a big thirst for knowledge XD
Not much other stuff going on in my life. Just been watching some TV shows in free time- Criminal Minds, House, and most recently, American Gladiators =). I like that show a lot. I watched it as a kid. now i'm watching the new version of it =) They had two eps of it today =) it was great, and the last one was inspiring. It had a guy who lost a leg before and was competing with a prosthetic one. He was amazing :D He lost, but he didn't give up at all..he kept on going ^^. At the end the crowd was on their feet =) It was an amazing and spectacular performance by him ^^
