So, I updated my page. You like?

Anyway I got some news...

I'm going to japan with my friend this winterbreak! Waaaaaaaaoooo!!! うれしいね!i don't have any money of my own but my sister (a super respected doctor) will give me 3000 dollars. I love my family :D I don't wanna come off as a spoiled brat, but I insisted that I get a Job. But My mom wouldn't allow that because she wants me to have lots of time to study. Yeah, I have those kind of parents.

So last Friday after class, me and my friend spent three hours figuring out what to do in those 2 weeks. And we figured out the expenses through expedia.com. He, Ben, also mentioned that he has friends and host families all over Japan. Therefore, it'll be easy for housing. AND we also have to buy presents for them too, which is about 40 presents. That's like about $300 worth of gifts!

We'll be heading to a lot of cities through cars, taxi's, and the fastest train, the shinkansen.

But there's a huge list of what we're going to do, so I won't be gettin' into any details. But I'll answer any questions :)

Oh yeah, I almost forgot, ben's host father's brother owns a bar. By then we'll be 20(drinking age in japan) and we'll be so drunk. I heard they had this type of wine/liquor called nihonshu. It's very strong, so i'll be looking forward to that :D

Q&A:

1. Have you traveled before?

Canada, Viet Nam, and Hong Kong are the only places I've gon so far.

2. What presents should I get for the friends and host families?

I'll give you a clue. They love foreign things, or in other words western stuff. So I'm thinking about giving them some CD's and instant mash potatoes(believe me, one of ben's host family loves this stuff).

Anyway, I'll be seeing you guys later. Enjoy!
