I had never given a man who had been charged with assault twice a ride to his home before. Surprisingly, it was pleasant. Haha, nah. That's unfair to him. He's a cool guy. But, yeah. Alot of interesting people around these parts I suppose. Not Aleia though. Aleia is not an interesting resident of San Antonio. She just takes up space. =/

The weather around here the last few days has included precipitation- holy fuck. I mean, seriously, we haven't had any rainfall at all in half a year. However, it has been kind of a wintery rain- the kind of rain that seems depressed as it slowly drizzles down onto yourself. Late at night, fog rolls in and if you take a walk you feel like you've been placed into some kind of archetypal slasher flick- you can barely see beyond 10 feet, if that. Amusing, you know? Kind of refreshing too.

While I was at Best Buy yesterday this Sgt. started giving me a sales pitch to join the army- I was like amusedly listening to him. He seemed like an honestly nice guy.. but I never thought someone would try to recruit me at Best Buy. Imagine, I'm a slightly overweight, glasses wearing white guy holding Grandia III and someone has the inclination that I could do pretty damn well in the Army. What the fuck? I couldn't fight off an invasion of happy little fairies if I was armed to the teeth with pixie-seeking missiles, why the hell are you coming to me. You must be hurting for recruits, man.

Serious topics of discussion-

Al Askari Mosque Bombing and the retaliations- What the hell? The attack could be considered brilliant depending on what their goal was but, jesus, for a religion that keeps pleading with the general public that they are not prone to violence this kind of situation seems to come up a lot.

Well, how much more fucked can the U.S. occupation get? This is just really bad luck for them.

The Winter Olympics- What the FUCK. Why haven't I watched any part of these?

Impression: This book is pretty awesome so far- even though it's clearly just setting the foundation for the real action to come. It could be offensive to some people via the.. colorful language that it uses at times. I hope it turns out to be really good.. even if I paid 4 dollars for it (for a new copy!).
