What's that? You got shot in the head? Oh, don't worry. You can sleep it off.
The title of this post is dedicated to the all the brave souls who lost their lives due to my bloodthirsty rampages after being spotted in Metal Gear Solid 3.

Heh. If you've played the game, you'll understand the title more I think. See, Para-Medic tells you that when you save you're actually taking a nap and the longer you take a nap, the more health or stamina you'll recover. She also mentioned something about wounds healing on their own. Hence the now hilarious joke between Tre and I that if we got shot in the end, all we'd have to do is take nice, long nap and we'd be fine when we woke up.

Its hilarious when we do it. You should see it. Seriously.

So yeah. If you can't tell, I've been playing Metal Gear Solid since last Saturday. Tre came over and I went back to my mom's house and he said he wanted to watch me play MGS3, so, I did.

And I kicked ass. Major fucking ass.

On Saturday night alone I made it all the way up to the Pain, who is the first member of the Cobra Unit you fight. He was . . . semi tough. I didn't beat him until the next day(first Tre and I took a break to watch the first Godfather movie, then we came back and played for a little while, then we had to go to bed) and that was after I discovered that each time you blast him with a shotgun while he's covered with hornets, the amount of hornets decreases and if you keep blasting him you'll do damage.

And since Saturday, I've been playing MGS3 for hours straight. When I left to come here to my dad's a little while ago, I was just starting my fight with Ocelot aboard the WIG or ah, whatever its called . . . It took me a little while to figure out how to beat the Boss, but I got her . . . in the end, eheh.

(In the end... there's sort of a double meaning to that... see, the End used a sniper rifle and that's what I used to shoot her down and I also... shot her in her 'end' *laughs*)

I think the funnest Cobra Unit battle was the one 'against' the Sorrow.

*drools* The Sorrow is so... fricking... awesome. *chases after him*

And I don't remember killing all of those people >.>

*starts planning a the Sorrow banner and avatar for on OB*

Eh, what else have I done, you may ask?

Well, it certainly wasn't nothing.

On Tuesday I got to skip the entire day of school to go with the two other kids who had the most AR points for their grade in the Middle School down to Grand Rapids. We went to Barnes & Noble and I bought... *jumps up and down grinning*

The Bourne Identity, The Bourne Supremacy, and The Bourne Legacy. Huzzah!

Lessee... course, because I missed Tuesday I ended up with a crapload of homework.

Wednesday was Math Club, as usual. Afterwards at Xio's house, I enjoyed thinking of as many sexual innuendos in the game "Legend of Zelda: the Windwaker" as I could. Good god that was fun.

(Link is supposed to keep the Prince "company" and Medli is holding "that" for the head Rita... *coughs*)

Keep thrusting! *giggles*

Thursday I got skip another entire day of school and ended up with more homework(which I collected on Wednesday so as to do it on Thursday).

Why did I get to skip Thursday? So I could go to a doctor's appointment.

Yep, a doctor's appointment.

See, my right knee's been bugging me lately and its always caused me trouble, you know so I talked about it with my mom about two weeks ago and she looked at the knee, told me it was swollen and that she would make a doctor's appointment.

Fast forward a bit and we're at the doctor's appointment that took place yesterday. Doctor comes in, takes a look at my knee, asks some questions, says its swollen, prescribes me some motrin, hands me a slip to get a knee brace and sends me off with my mom and my grandma(though the events I just described didn't necessarily happen in that order).

I've also got to go and get an MRI on Tuesday, at 4 PM. Finally I'll get to know what the hell is wrong with my knee.

So now I've got this pretty hinged knee brace...

...that's annoying. But at least it makes my knee feel better(though I think I have the straps on a bit too tight around my shins right now... hmm.)

Eh, speaking of my knee I should take some motrin now since I just ate. *makes plans for that*

Last night I was forcing myself through my mountain of homework... finally got it done at about midnight. I didn't even get to play MGS3. *cries*

But that's okay, because I played it today when I got home from school =D

God, I want to finish that game... I accomplished so much just this afternoon... sneaking back into Groznyj Grad, having an all out warfare before I entered the Main Wing of the weapons lab... having all out warfare after I entered the Main Wing of the weapons lab(I was trying to kill everyone so I could plant the C3 on the liquid fuel in peace.. I did it too *grins* Thank you, sniper rifle), fighting Volgin(that bastard! *kicks him*), shooting people around Groznyj Grad from the sidecar of EVA's bike, disabling Shagohod, killing Volgin, killing more guards, dragging Eva through the forest(You know what's funny? She walks all slow when we're going through the forest because of her injury, but once we make it to the lake she pretty much flat out RUNS toward it. How the hell could you be running?!), waging war with guards with a shotgun, taking out the Boss with a sniper rifle, shooting her in the head and watching the immensely long cutscenes inbetween...

So. Much. Fun!!!!

Okay, okay, I've ranted enough about how much I love MGS3. Time to go... do other stuff I guess.
