Krup you
West Side Story is a great movie. Best music ever. Its pretty funny too... heh, I just love that movie. I want to get the soundtrack; I absolutely love those songs, especially "Gee, Officer Krupke" that one's the best...

I actually put up a fanfiction the other day. I dunno if its actually been put up on FanFiction.net yet, but its a Metal Gear Solid fic. You can find a link to it in my profile anyway: www.fanfiction.net/~ddg

I think people are a little too obsessed with disclaimers. They aren't necessary; I mean, you're writing a fanfiction: obviously you don't own the series or whatever because if you did, you wouldn't be writing a fricken fanfiction. The disclaimers in fanfictions are what I find the funniest because I mean, its plain to see that they don't own anything of the series. That's why I'm pretty lazy on disclaimers and didn't include one for the Metal Gear fic, I mean, if I owned it, the fic would already be a game lol. And a disclaimer that I just added to my GTA 3 fiction that I started last night: *insert boring disclaimer here* Its obvious that I don’t own GTA or anything of the likes. I’m merely a fan who writes fictions, hence the name “fanfictions,” duh.

Simple as that. Disclaimers = almost unnecessary. Sure, disclaimers should be included because legally the characters don't belong to the author, but that's why its a fanfiction: the author is a fan who doesn't own the series or characters and writes stories about them.

Alright, I need to stop ranting on about disclaimers now...

I changed a few things regarding the images on my site here... If you'll notice, I changed the size of the table background. It was originally 600x1100 and now its 500x900something. I also changed the introduction image. Its approximately the same height as the avatar and site music table(I think its one pixel smaller... but it still looks good). I removed a few links in the intro and changed what "v1" linked to. A few things were changed on the sidebar, too. I reworded how long I've been an Anime fan, changed my talents and hobbies and removed my YIM screenname.

That's one of the more major things I did yesterday: I removed YIM from the computer. Every weekend I come over here and I never sign into YIM. I don't use it anymore. I hardly ever talk to anyone on it so I decided to just delete it. What's the use of it if I'm not using it? Its just wasting space. So now I've only got MSN and AIM. If any of you did talk to me on YIM, then you'll have to talk to me on AIM or MSN. If you don't know my MSN, then PM me for it. Just keep in mind I'm not normally the kind of person who IM's you to talk, unless its something important. I'll usually just sign-in and someone wants to talk to me, well, then they can send me a message and I'll talk. Rarely do I IM other people.

Its kind of odd; I'm more talkative while I'm online than I am offline(well, usually anyhow) but I rarely feel like IMing anyone to talk and half the time when someone IM's me, I don't have anything to talk about.

*smashes keyboard* I hate this thing. The keys are so fricken hard to press... my fingers start to get sore after I've been typing for awhile.

And I can type for awhile and pretty damn fast. As of Friday, I'm pretty much officially the fastest typing person at my school. My highest words per minute on UltraKey *curses the program* is 103 words.

That's more than Mrs. Wolfe can type, and she's the fricken CEWT teacher! When she was looking at my records back when I was typing upper 70's, lower 80's, she even admitted she couldn't type that fast.

Of course, I got 103 words per minute by ignoring most errors that I typed(which were some pretty bad ones at that... some of the words were completely unrecognizable) and ended up with about... 30 some errors. I still passed the skill check, amazingly enough. My skill levels are set to like, 81 wpm and 90% accuracy and for good reason. If I had my accuracy set any higher I wouldn't have passed a few of the skill checks and lessons, eheh.

I finally got to see what grade I got for my short story. Mrs. Stratton handed them out on Friday and had us all get into groups of four and read them out loud. Everyone in my group enjoyed my story. We didn't get to keep our stories, though, because Mrs. Stratton, though she had the papers checked, didn't have them in the gradebook yet so we had to give them back.

You wanna know what I got? Eh, do ya?

Perfect score, 100/100 on the story and 10/10 on the cover page. Course, the only way I couldn't have gotten 10/10 on the cover page was if I didn't do one or didn't color it and put the title of the story on it, heh.

I think there were only a few small mistakes that Mrs. Stratton corrected in mine, but none of it had to do with the dialogue which was the main purpose of writing the stories, to practice writing dialogue. It was mostly missing commas(I'm bad with commas, so sue me) and I think one apostrophe problem(damn them apostrophes!).

I'm so fricken happy. Next week we get Good Friday off and then, and then, we get that following Monday off for a teacher in-service!!!! Four day weekend! Huzza! Celebrate for salvation has come! And then, the week after next, is Spring Break!! April 2-10!

And you know what's happening Spring Break? My mom's taking me and Xio(Alexa can't come, she's going to Niagra Falls for the entire break) to the Saginaw Mall! *celebrates* Mall! Mall! Mall! Video games! Anime! Manga! Books! Money!

That's right, money! My mom says she should have some money for us to spend by then! Hooray!

*giggles* I can't wait.
