   HAPPY HAPPY!
Last night, my sister came back from her weekend in Seattle for shopping. And what's really awesome is that she got me this REALLY kick-ass Inuyasha poster. It's so damn cool! It has Inuyasha, Kagome, Miroku, Sango, and Sesshoumaru on it. Too bad it didn't have any of the villans in there(one's I'm looking for are Naraku, Kagura, and Kikyo). What's really nice about the poster is that it's made from plasic, so it's really durable compared to other posters!
Right now, the poster is sitting safely in my room, waiting for the appropriate 'holder' to hang it up.
Well now, it's time for classes and more lectures. But at least so far in the week I haven't gotten a lot of homework. I hope the rest of the week will remain fairly homeworkless, and smoothly sail to the weekend once again. Well, I'll talk to you all later!

The grand opening of a local Buddhist temple.
Wow, yesterday I attended the grand opening of a Buddhist temple in Calgary. I have to say it's a BIG event, seemingly how Buddhist masters from Edmonton, Malaysia, Taiwan, and the U.S. came to attend it. The entire temple was so crowded, like with about 200 people at the peak, I could barely walk anywhere!
It became even worse by lunchtime as everyone gathered into the cafeteria for food. My aunt and I sat and waited for the lines to thin out before going to get our food, but luckily a friend of my uncle got us two plates of food. Lucky us!
Then after lunch was the REAL show, as several performers from an atheletic club in Calgary did a Lion Dance for the temple. It was incredibly entertaining.

Well now it's time for school and homework... sigh... I just hope I don't get too much homework this week. Well I'm gonna go now so talk to you all later!

   Yay it's the weekend!
Oh finally it's the weekend. This week was so hectic and full of homework that I slept very little as I did homework well past beyond midnight. True that I should do my homework before I play videogames or anything, but I need to relax after a hard day at school.
Hence, my new saying, "All work and no play makes anyone a grouchy bitch". Of course my parents do not have this concept of taking a break, they just expect me to do homework from the time that I get home to the time I sleep. My mom once said to me that I can play my PS2 when my homework is done, but by the time that I do finish my homework, my family is watching the TV my PS2 is connected to. Although I can play it downstairs, I hate disconnecting and reconnecting my PS2.
Luckily, my brother is moving to Vancouver during the long weekend in October, and I get to take over his room and his computer! And what's really nice is that he can connect a game console to his computer, so I can play my PS2 in my room in peace! Although many of you may think this is sad and all but, this is a fairly good thing for me. First, I get a bigger room. Second, I can get him to buy and send me stuff from Vancouver. And third, I have one less sibling to annoy me.
Well I'm gonna go now so I'll talk to you all later!!

   Busy, busy, busy...
Man, grade 11 is a lot busier than I had anticipated despite the fact that I only have two academic classes. My Career and Life Management class is soo boring, I find myself doodling after just five minutes of work. And not to mention the lame assignments we get in that class (stuff like self awareness and stuff).
Then now my entire science class is switching teachers. And from what I heard from Selena, my new science teacher is a bit of an idiot, always making mistakes and calling other teachers for help.
My social class is pretty good, although a bit tough, but I find the unit right now to be really interesting (Europe in the 18th Century).
Now today in Foods I get to cook! We are making this appetizer dish for people with osteoperosis, or in other words, we're cooking something that is high in calcium.
Well I better be going now so I'll talk to you all later!

Star Ocean Till the End of Time finished!
Wow, after 70 hours of playing Star Ocean Till the End of Time, I've beaten the last boss. But now I have three eztra secret dungeons to go through! It's a great game, but the story kind of sucked...
Well now it's Monday so it means another dreadfully long week of school... At the very least, I have a good social teacher as complared to last semester's social teacher. But now this one talks a lot, but he talks about interesting stuff. It's almost like if he can teach any subject.
Well now I'm gonna go now, so I'll be back in a while.

And I thought yesterday was boring...
Whoa, today was like boredom to the extreme. That video in foods I watched yesterday was continued today, and to me surprise, IT'S STILL NOT FINISHED!! Thats two hours and the damn video is still not finished. Luckily the teacher took mercy on us and said we're not gonna finish the movie.
Then in my Life and Career Management class, the teacher gave us this boring 'self awareness' project to do... Looks like this semester of mine will be filled with lots of boredom...
Well the Inuyasha movie is supposedly to come out this Sunday. I'm gonna try to get my sister to get it for me. Anyone here planning to get it?
Well I'm gonna go now, so talk to you all later!

Boredom should be listed as a method of torture...
Yesterday in my foods class, my teacher made us all watch this video on nutrition that is soo damn boring. First of all, the video was really scientific, and they all spoke really fast. And we are to take notes from the video. It pretty hard to take notes when the person is speaking at like 100 words per minute. Secondly, the video was lame. It was those educational films so it was all the more lame. By the end of the class, I was sprawled out on the table, almost asleep from the video.
Lucky for me, it seems the cold is weakening as my throat doesn't feel as sore as it did yesterday. Well I got to go now so talk to you all later!

   I have a cold... *cough*
Damn, yesterday, I caught a cold from someone in my school. I'm pretty sure its from someone in my social class since my throat started to hurt after that. Then it all goes downhill from there. By the time school was over and I got home, my throat was so sore... I hope its just a cold and not a bacterial infection, since infections hurt like hell and gives you a fever, and I can't afford to miss school in grade 11... Well I hope it goes away soon, but until then, I'll be drinking a lot of citrus juice. See you all later!

   Damn I hate class presentations...
Okay, so now today I have this presentation in Career and Life Management(CALM) class. We're supposed to bring items that would describe us. This wouldn't be much a problem in there weren't so many of those 'popular' kids (the ones that talk alot, maybe I shouldn't say popular, but they are in my class). The only good thing about it is that the presentation is to be about 1 to 2 minutes long.
There has been one questions that I have been meaning to ask but seem to always forget. What do you think is more important to an artist? Skill (as in how well they can draw), or creativity (self-explanitory)? I personally feel that creativity is more important, but I feel that many people think that skill is more important, as I see a lot of people awing beautiful drawings that are like copies of another piece. I'm not saying that fanart is stupid or anything, but I do feel that original art is more preferable.
Thanks for listening to me today, Hope you have a good day people!

   It was a nice weekend!
Well now it's back to school after a nice weekend of mostly playing more videogames! But it was also on this weekend that I witnessed one of the most dumb/lame/stupid plot twists in a videogame. That plot twist was from Star Ocean Till the End of Time, and it really pissed me off. I won't say what it is incase anyone here is playing the game as well.
On Friday, during my late night videogame session, I happened to come across Witch Hunter Robin on YTV. Apparently they now only show one episode of Inuyasha instead of two in order to make way for Witch Hunter Robin. It was a good thing they kept the Japanese theme song for it, and not replace it with an aweful English one. But the anime didn't really interest me, so I just skipped it.
Well now it's back to school, so I'm gonna go now!
