Dont wanna know why, everybody ready, get it on.
"Fire Wars" Jam Project

hi folks. sorry i dodnt update last week. i have been hella busy at work, all morning shifts. >.< which is not fun. however, i have lots of stuffs to update with, and a few piccies too. rah.

so first off, i got my shifts back for the christmas period. anyone who was here this time last year would recall that i had to work christmas day last year.
well, i have to do it again this year. NUUUU! but strangely, im not too bothered by that fact. i guess i was kind of expecting it. it will still suck, but at least it should be fairly quiet that day. *touches wood*
what really sucks is that on boxing day i have to work ALL DAY! arrgh. boxing day i normally go and visit the extended family. instead i have a 11 hour shift. oh well. its double pay. SILVA LINING!

oh oh oh, and i got a PAYRISE this week! and backpay too. i got a 13 pence pay rise (i cant be arsed to convert that into cents, do it yourself) and 80 quid back pay for the last three months. ISS (the company i work for) was meant to give everyone a raise in April, but didnt. so now all that extra money we SHOULD have been earning has been given to us. and i am working now at £6.10 an hour. huzzah!

This week i managed to finish most of my christmas cards and send em off. why did i decide to personally design most of my christmas cards???!?? oh well. they should be there around christmas (maybe a bit after). i hope the people who are getting them enjoy them. ^^

despite having my first day off all week yesterday, i still had to get up early because i was going up to London to help out at another Raleigh information event. the event was fun, and i met someone there i knew. he used to attend to my school, he was three or four years above me. it was quite weird knowing i had been on a Raleigh Expedition, but he had not. ^^
i also met another ex-venturer there, who had been to Malaysia like i had, but three years before. Whenever you meet someone who has been on an expedition, you instantly strike up a bond with them, so i hit it off with this girl (who for the life of me, i cannot remember her name...im terrible with names. ^^; ) anyways, after the event we both got on the London Underground train to take us back into the main city so she could catch a train home and i could go shopping. we were so wrapped up in conversation about malaysia that we failed to notice we had got on the wrong train. it wasnt too big a deal though, we got off, caught a train on a different line and parted ways as i went to get a third underground train whilst she was gonna carry on to Victoria railway station. it was really nice meeting someone who has had similar experiences to myself and understood what i was going on about when i talk about malaysia and who's eyes dont sort of glaze over after a while. LOL. she was kinda cute too. (sorry Blue!)

anyways,after we parted ways, i headed back into central london to try and do some christmas shopping. unfortunatly that endevour failed miserably. i did manage to pick up four DVDs for myself though! ^^;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;
lol, it could have been a lot worse...i saw a manga and three other dvds i wanted to get, but knew they were on my christmas list, and thus other people might be getting them for me. so i had to leave em be. darn.

i also stopped off in an instrument shop to have a nose at some of the guitars in there. my lil brother wants a guitar (so he doesnt have to keep borrowing my older brother's one) but DAMN are guitars expensive. i might have to make do and buy him a book of music instead. LOL.

ive recently started re-reading the "Tales of the Otori" trilogy. its a really good set of books, set in a ficitonal part of japan in feudal times, though terminology like "samurai" and "ninja" and "geisha" are never used. they are instead replaced with more western terms like "warrior", "assasin" and "whore/prostitute/courtesan" which gives the story an almost vague sense to it. you know its japan, but it might as well be anywhere. that way the story caters to all rather then devout feudal japan fiction fans. it is meant to be a young persons book after all. anways, i really enjoy this trilogy, and now i've learned the author has released a sequal, a large book that kind of ties all the loose ends together and finally ends the story. its on my christmas list (though i was so tempted to buy it yesterday)

anyway, enough Jibba Jabba...

PICTURES! w00t.

first off, i've finally got round to painting and making the lil SD Gundam model i got as a consolation prize for the "Design your own Gundam" competition i entered a while back. my paint skills arent up to much (which is why i like Gundam models so much...no paint needed!) but i think i turned out pretty well.

I present to you: SUPER DEFORMED WING GUNDAM ZERO DARKE CUSTOM (Endless Waltz version)

BUSTA!!!! RIFLE!!!!

This colour scheme is actually the same colour scheme for the Solar Swashbucklers, a fictional Pirate group that appears in my original Fiction: Gundam Scroll.

with RED beam sabre

The red angel depicted on the chest is kind of a trade mark in my Gundam designs.

red wings!! w00t!

no stickers! bwa ha ha!!! i used a hella lot of paint though.

i really should paint the panel lines on my first version

side by side... Wing Zero Darke Custom and the original Wing Gundam Zero(Endless Waltz Version)

neat huh?

and yes! i have a comic for you!!!!

and here's another figure of speech...kiss my shiny metal 455

Calling a sentient miniture cyernetic angel with the processing power of a hundred super computers a "machine" is like calling Stephen Hawking or Albert Einstein "clever". its like...yeah, they are but using such a low caliber word to describe them is practically an insult.

well, thats it from me today. if you read ALL of that, you can have balloon shaped like somebody you hate. why would you want a balloon shaped like somebody you hate? CUZ ITS A VOO-DOO BALLOON! you only need one pin. ^^

oh ok, you can have a cookie if you read the entire post too.

Toodles!
