well darn...
i was gonna have a pretty half-way decent post for y'all to read, but then i read Cee-Kari's post and it made everything else seem...trivial and boring to be honest. ^^;; go and give it a read.

im still gonna post anyway. Y'know. Because.

I got the day off today (i have to go see the dreaded Dentist of Teeth and other ouchie-ness)
but i still got woken up at 8AM this morning by Zoe, a colleague of mine, wondering if i can do any over time. *rolls eyes* not today. but she woke me up so i got up anyway and here i am. ;p

i havnt done any serious exercise recently...i keep going out in the evening, which is when i do it, or else im working. >.<
i did buy myself a nice pair of running shoes the other day though. they're really lightweight, i wanna see how they effect my performance.

On Sunday, in the evening, i went with my brother up to London to go to church. I dunno if many of you guys know or not, but im fairly religious, but that said, i dont really do church anymore. However, my brother had heard about this youth church in London, and invited me along, so i figured i may as well. The church, get this, is held in the Dominion Theatre in Londons West End. so during the week it hosts sell-out performances of "We Will Rock You!", the musical based on the songs of Queen, and on Sundays it hosts this church...and the theatre was PACKED! there were hundreds of people there. the servce started off with Worship, which was really cool. people generally think Worship Music is really lame, but its not always. the music is known as Christian Rock, and its lively, and sounds just like any other rock song out there, just the words are different. After that we had the sermon with this guest speaker, who was from India...he was really funny too. like genuinely laugh out loud funny.
so i had a good time. we were there with a friend of Stephen's who he used to go to college with, Nikola Bedingfield (and in case you're wondering, yes, she is the younger sister of Daniel and Natasha Bedingfield.) she was quite friendly and nice...though she and my brother got on like evil twins. (stephen, i know you are reading this...you guys are evil together i tell you!) if the world is ever gonna be taken over by a single power, it is either gonna be done by Nic, my best friend (Motive: for the sheer hell of it) or by my brother tag teaming with Nikola (Motive: Cuz its there)... 0.o

oh yeah, and yesterday i discovered the true meaning of Irony.
I was coming home from work, and trying to get out of the hospital back onto the main road is really hard, especially if you want to go across the traffic to turn right (we drive on the left remember, so i have to cross oncoming traffic as well as traffic on the far side.) finally i saw a gap, but it was a really small one, but i went for it. Made it ok, but the Van behind me was a Government THINK! Road Saftey Van... if i had misjudged the vans speed i could have been knocked down by a road safety van. ^^;; (note to Alanis: THAT is Ironic, dontcha think?)

so thats been my week-since-saturday.

today, im gonna give you TWO comics! BUT: they are not CDD comics.

here's the First...

The Box Man commeth

BOX MAN!!!

here's a little intro into this new superhero and his wind-swept side-kick...

* * *

Who is Box Man? nobody really knows. The most distinctive feature is the box he wears on his head. His power: total and complete control over all boxes. Yeah, yeah, i know what you're thinking. LAME. but you are wrong. Consider how many boxes there are on the planet. Now consider this one person has total control over every last one. He could manipulate them to work together to form boats, giant robots, huge weapons of mass silliness, and so on. Box Man's power works on, but is not limited to, the following: Cardboard Boxes, Wooden Boxes, Lunch Boxes, X-Boxes, Telephone Boxes (including Dr. Who's TARDIS), Post Boxes, PC Desktop Computers ("b0x0r5"), Shoe Boxes, "Set Top" Boxes (Digital and Cable TV recievers), Control Boxes, Fuse Boxes, Box Rooms, Boom Boxes, Tool Boxes and more.
His favourite Phrase is "Think Outside The Box".

His side-kick, El Tumbleweedo, is of mexican origin and is a year late by my calculations....

* * *

so there. the mystery of Box Man. and before you think i've gone off the deep end...Box Man exists. He's real. Oh yeah. I've seen him...

EEEy mon, you put some ganja in dat dere pancake, a'ight?

this comic (as you may have guessed if you read it properly) was based on an actual conversation i had with Nic on MSN the other night. t'was too good to pass up. and look! Chibi Darke makes an appearance!!

i got at least one more Box Man comic to do, then i'll be back to making CDDs again, with Box Man turning up occasionally. ^^

BOX MAN!!! THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX!!!

later gator!
