No man is ever old enough to know better
Well the Internet is now back! Yay! Yesterday was a bit crazy in this area. What was left of Ivan smacked right into a cold front and the weather was not happy. Tornados were literally springing up ALL around the area, one right after the other, constantly. At one point there was one heading in our direction, but it dissolved before it got here. Let me tell ya, when you see a National Weather Service warning that say “take cover now! Get underground immediately!” it gets your attention. The tornados have finally passed, but we are still under river and regular flood warnings as the rivers are beginning to flood in the area. Heh, so the ones that didn’t get blown away can still get washed away. Joy for us.

Oh, an interesting story. The husband called the airport he works at in Hagerstown, and as he was talking to the people, they watched and described as the funnel of a tornado formed, touched the ground, and went right across the interstate. The dude in the flight tower actually saw the debris falling out of the thing on the radar screen. o_O

Well, that’s it for tonight, I am tired. I hope everyone has a good weekend.

Because we demand more Firefly
